Coating method of amorphous type titanium peroxide

Fixation of a viscous amorphous titanium peroxide to a substrate for use as a binder layer can dispense with hydrophilic treatment with a surfactant or the like even when the substrate has a water-repellent surface or is thermoplastic. Deposition of fine particles of a photocatalytic semiconductor, a dielectric ceramic, or a conductive ceramic in a state of homogeneous scattering in air onto the viscous amorphous titanium peroxide layer as the binder layer can facilitate the formation of a thin layer of a photocatalytic semiconductor or a dielectric or conductive ceramic material. Alternatively, the viscous amorphous titanium peroxide may be fixed to the substrate and then fired to form a titanium oxide layer having a photocatalytic activity.
