  1. 1
A method comprising:establishing (1301) by a user equipment, UE (1051), in a Long-Term Evolution, LTE, network for group communication a unicast Evolved Packet Service, EPS, bearer for Push to Talk over Cellular, PoC, DL and UL traffic, wherein the UE (1051) belongs to a PoC communication group having a PoC communication group ID;receiving (1302) access information by the UE (1051) for monitoring downlink, DL, multicast traffic of the DL group communication based on a multicast decision, wherein the multicast decision is for dynamically configuring a multicast Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service, MBMS, bearer, the multicast MBMS bearer being associated with a Temporary Mobile Group Identifier, TMGI;and monitoring (1303) the MBMS bearer for receiving the DL multicast traffic using the access information, characterized in that the access information comprising mapping information associating the TMGI with the communication group ID is provided (1236) by the network, and in that the association between TMGI and the communication group ID is changed regularly.
  2. 2
The method of Claim 1, wherein the UE (1051) indicates a group communication interest when requesting to establish the unicast bearer.
  3. 3
The method of Claim 1, wherein the UE (1051) associates the unicast bearer and the multicast bearer, and wherein the UE (1051) routes data from both bearers to a single application.
  4. 4
The method of Claim 1, wherein the access information is received via non-dedicated RRC signaling, signaling in data plane, or by predefined mapping.
  5. 5
The method of Claim 1, wherein the UE (1051) acquires TMGI through an application layer protocol after a Packet Data Network, PDN, connection setup is completed when establishing the EPS bearer.
  6. 6
The method of Claim 1, wherein a TMGI list of communication groups is assigned by the network when establishing the MBMS bearer, and wherein the UE (1051) acquires the TMGI from the TMGI list when establishing the EPS bearer.
  7. 7
The method of Claim 1, wherein the association between the TMGI and the communication group ID is changed through an application layer protocol or through specific Non-Access-Stratum, NAS, layer messaging.
  8. 8
The method of Claim 1, wherein the UE (1051) reports MBMS capability information and/or MBMS reception status to the network for making the multicast decision.
  9. 9
The method of Claim 1, wherein the UE mobility information is reported to a mobility management entity for group mobility management and for making the multicast decision, and wherein the UE mobility information comprises a serving cell.
  10. 10
The method of Claim 9, wherein the multicast decision is based on a list of factors comprising at least one of a number of group members in a cell, a number of communication groups in a cell, UE mobility information, channel reliability information, and transmission overhead in Radio Access Network, RAN, level.
  11. 11
The method of Claim 1, wherein the DL multicast traffic is delivered within an MBSFN area.
  12. 12
The method of Claim 11, wherein the MBSFN area corresponds to one multicast group defined as a subset of the communication group.
  13. 13
The method of Claim 1, wherein the DL multicast traffic is delivered to a multicast group in MBMS multicast mode, and wherein the multicast group is defined as a subset of the communication group.
  14. 14
The method of Claim 1, wherein the MBMS bearer is established when the multicast decision is made.
  15. 15
The method of Claim 1, wherein the MBMS bearer is statically pre-configured without considering UE mobility information.
  16. 16
A system comprising a user equipment, UE (1051), and a Push to Talk over Cellular, PoC, server 1205) for a Long-Term Evolution, LTE, network for traffic communication, the UE (1051) comprising:a configuration module (222) adapted to trigger the PoC server (1205) to establish a unicast Evolved Packet Service, EPS, bearer, wherein the UE (1051) is configured to belong to a PoC communication group having a PoC communication group ID;a receiver (213) adapted to receive access information from the network for monitoring downlink, DL, multicast traffic of the DL group communication based on a multicast decision made at the PoC server, wherein the multicast decision is adapted for dynamically configuring a multicast Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service, MBMS, bearer, the multicast MBMS bearer being associated with a Temporary Mobile Group Identifier, TMGI;and the UE (1051) further comprises a group communication module adapted to monitor the MBMS bearer for receiving the DL multicast traffic using the access information, characterized in that the access information comprising mapping information associating the TMGI, with the communication group ID is provided (1236) by the network, and in that the association between TMGI and the communication group ID is changed regularly.
  17. 17
The system of Claim 16, wherein the UE (1051) is adapted to indicate a group communication interest when requesting to establish the unicast bearer.
  18. 18
The system of Claim 16, wherein the UE (1051) is adapted to associate the unicast bearer and the multicast bearer, and wherein the UE (1051) is adapted to route data from both bearers to a single application.
