Support frame for a respiratory air container
Abstract
A support frame (1) for a respiratory air container has an approximately U-shaped guiding channel (13) in the longitudinal direction on the side facing towards the body of the user. An extension plate (14) which is also U-shaped is guided into said guiding channel and can be stopped in various positions therein. Supply lines (7 to 9) which originate from the pressure reducer (6) of the respiratory air container and which form a reserve loop in the smallest form of the support frame extend into a receiving channel (25) via a line inlet opening (12), said receiving channel being formed by the U-shaped extension plate, and are fixed thereto. The length of the support frame and the position of the supply lines are adjusted according to the torso length of the user, by adjusting the extension plate. This ensures that the user can move freely and safely while the supply lines are protected or kept close to the body, regardless of body size.

Description carrying frame for a respiratory air container
The invention relates to air tanks a support frame for a breath, which is adaptable to the torso length of the user and a support plate with attached thereto straps and fasteners for at least one breathing air tank, extending from the pneumatic and electrical supply lines for the user comprises.
For stable support of breathing air tanks (SCBA) on the respective user, for example, a firefighter back, existing devices are known from a support plate with risers used.
The support plates are typically integrally formed in and substantially uniform size and matched in shape approximately to the contour of the back of humans. The usually held on the back plate using a bottle belt Breathing air tank is connected to an attached at the lower end of the support plate reducer, arising from the different supply lines and among other things, lead to a manometer and breath connection one worn by the user mask. The hoses for compressed air and possibly also electrical leads for warning and measuring devices are fixed to the support plate. Depending on the height of the user, the support plate is at different heights on the back to the plant, and that it ends at a small person at the top and a large person in a low-lying area of the back. Accordingly, is at the front of the user, a too large or too small a length of hose or cable length available, at which time preclude hoses free and undisturbed movement of the user and the monitoring of the pressure gauge as well as to short. In addition, there is a danger that caught the body-not lying or freely accessible in the back and not being in the visual range of the user's line sections on obstructions or damage.
From US 5,020,941 a body of the user to be attached carrying device for a breathing air container is already known that has interchangeable shoulder parts in different lengths in order to adapt the support frame at the height of the person can. Besides being free, the corresponding pneumatic and possibly electrical leads in this proposed solution, adapting to the body size is also associated with considerable effort.
Further, an inter alia described in EP 0747095 A2 also for the attachment of breathing air tanks suitable support device, which is formed in two parts. It consists of an upper back plate and a lower support plate, wherein the lower support plate in one nem pivot at different heights on the upper
Backplate can be mounted. Even with this support frame, the leads are exposed and the envisaged method of length change in association with the pivotal suspension of the support plate precludes stable mounting of breathing air tank to the support plate.
The invention is therefore based on the object gege alternate specify an adaptable to the body size of the user ordered for a breathing air container, the stable fixation of the respiratory air container and a GE protected or guaranteed proximal and ergonomic arrangement pneumatic or electric supply lines.
According to the invention the object is achieved with a supporting frame for a respiratory air container, which is designed according to the features of claim 1. The dependent claims disclose further characteristics and advantageous embodiments of the invention result.
The basic idea of the proposed new solution is in other words the fact that on the supporting plate an extension plate is held and can be locked in different positions, at the ex- tension plate the near-shoulder attachment straps of the support frame and the supply lines of the breathing air container are attached. Such a trained support frame can be adjusted in its length and the length and location of the supply lines to the torso length of the respective loading user, so that on the one hand a tight fit of the support frame on the body and on the other hand a secure mounting and tight management of the supply lines is guaranteed. The supply lines that form in the lowest position of the extension plate, in the smallest form of the support frame, a voltage applied to the support plate reserve loop, extended guasi undress the extension plate and correspondingly shortened during insertion, so that they in each case in the optimum position with respect to the user in question are, therefore, neither too long nor too short, and ensure safe handling of devices connected to these devices. With such a support frame designed to be user can move freely and safely, regardless of body size despite severe breathing air tank and corresponding supply lines. According to a further feature of the invention is in the extension plate running in the longitudinal direction thereof receiving channel for the protected arrangement of the supply lines formed. In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the extension plate is guided via its receiving channel in the back of the user open towards the guide channel of the support plate. A cable entry port allows the supply of the main lines of the free side of the support plate in the receiving channel of the extension plate. Because of this feature, the supply lines, the first in the shoulder region emerge regardless of the user out of the supporting frame, arranged specially protected.
An exemplary embodiment from which further features, expedient refinements and advantages of the invention will be described with reference to the drawing. Show it :
Figure 1 is a view of the side facing away from the back of a user side of an inventively length-adjustable support frame, with this mounted pressure reduction and associated supply lines, but without representation of the risers and the breathing air container. and
Fig. 2 is a rear view, that is, the back of the
User-facing side, of the support frame of FIG. 1.
The support frame 1 consists of a rigid support plate 2 made of tough plastic with side handles 3 and first slit openings 4 for the stretcher¬ belts (not shown) and second slot openings 5 for a bottle tether (not shown) for fastening a breathing air container on the back plate 2. At the bottom of the support plate 2 is a pressure reducer 6 described consolidates at which the to be connected to these Atemluftbe- holder is also held and from which to form a reserve loop a first supply line (manometer) 7 to a pressure gauge (not shown), a second supply line 8 as an air supply line for the user and a third supply line 9 starts as a warning line. The support plate 2 has an affixed by jerking the user away, extending longitudinally, flat U-formate gen guide channel 13, which in a Leitungsemtrittsoffnung 12 above a formed on the support plate 2 above Schlauchfuhrungsstuckes 11 ends in the lower portion of the support plate. 2 By Leitungsemtrittsoffnung 12 2 formed shallow guide channel get the hose lines 7, 8 and 9 in the at the back (the user jerking facing side) of the support plate 13. In the guide channel 13 is a in these is fitted, essentially U-shaped Require approximate plate 14 tze on Fuhrungsschl 15 to Fuhrungs- donate 16 in the guide channel 13 slidably supported and guided is. The Require approximate plate 14, the Schlitzoffnungen 27 at its upper edge for securing the near-shoulder carrying belts, n is the guide channel 13 of the support plate 2 in four locking positions lockable bar. To this end, in pairs opposite locking grooves 17, 18,19 and 20 are formed on the opposite side tenwande of Fuhrungskanals 13, in which at the Require approximate plate 14 by means of a spring element 20 in a guide groove 21 elastically held locking handle development sites 22 are latched. With the help of various detent positions (locking grooves 17-20) lockable Require approximate plate 14 may be made available thus supporting frames 1 in different, the height (or torso length) of the user matched Lange. In the exemplary embodiment are the locking gπffstucke 22 in the locking grooves 19, so that the displayed presented carrying frame 1 also can be lengthened or shortened.
The Arretiergriffstücke 22 are designed as a large-scale, open-topped shells that therefore, even if the user is wearing gloves, are easy to handle. The extension plate 14 has at its two longitudinal edges each have an outwardly facing flange 14a. The edge strips 14a cover the lock grooves 17 to 20 on the side walls of the guide channel 13 of the support plate 2 upwards and simultaneously form a flat bearing surface on the user's back. At the bottom of the extension plate 14 are inwardly court tere clamping grooves 23 are provided, in which in Fig. 1 illustrated supply lines are 7 to 9 held clamped and thus fixed. The supply lines 7 to 9 are 14 limited by two longitudinal webs 24 receiving channel 25 is guided in a on the inner side (the user's back-facing side) of the extension plate and GE long through a line exit opening 26 in the extension plate 14 between the third slit openings 27 after Outside.
As Fig. 1 shows that the pressure reducer connected supply lines are 7 to 9 arranged in an abutting on the support plate 2 reserve loop so that they end in the chest area of a small user at a height that the free handling and ease of access connected thereto devices and the unhindered mobility of the user guaranteed. When a user with a longer or shorter torso extension plate 14 is adjusted so that on the one hand the third slot openings 27 are 1 guaranteeing near-shoulder position in a tion a stable holding of the support frame and at the same time on the exten¬ guide plate 14 fixed and their movement following Supply lines 7 to 9 are adapted to the respective torso length correct position. The line from the outlet opening 26 bundled outgoing supply lines 7 to 9 are rich user performed close to the body in the shoulder and torso at, so that the risk of fouling with these or damage is low. This applies equally to the uncontrolled spinal region of the user, because there are the supply lines 7 to 9 in the receiving channel 25 between look back and carrying frame 1 fixed and protected manner and also in its exposed area (reserve loop) held close to the support plate. 2 There is a support frame is thus provided that a stable position of the breathing air container and a tight-fitting, protected arrangement of the supply lines that end before the user's body in an anatomically optimal amount guaranteed regardless of the height of the user. The user's mobility is improved and increases its security.
However, the invention is not limited to the above-described specific embodiment of a support frame. Rather, in the context of the basic concept of the invention, the locked in the formation of an extendible to the support plate in different positions
Extension plate is a protected guiding of the hoses at the back of the user as well as their driving while moving the extension plate with formed in this recording channel, numerous modifica- tions possible. With very rigid supply lines, it is also conceivable to perform in the receiving channel only and not take the movement of the extension plate. In addition, the proposed support frame with respect to the nature of its extending and adapting to different body sizes is not limited to the use for respiratory container, but may also be used for fastening and transport other items.
