The subject of the invention is a method and device for gluing at least one pocket to the outer surface of a container, a container, especially a beverage bag, a web with pockets, a method and device for producing a web with pockets, an adhesive tape, a method and a device for producing an adhesive tape. The method is characterized by the fact that the adhesive is placed in adhesive zones (12) separated from each other by non-adhesive zones. The cut is made in the non-adhesive zone. The device for producing a pocketed web includes a cutting unit for cutting the pockets from the pocketed web and a pressing unit for gluing the pockets (2) to the container, and also includes a unit for applying glue to the pocketed web (1) by means of which the adhesive is applied to the a web (1) with pockets in adhesive zones (12) spaced from each other by non-adhesive zones.
