Description of the invention
The present invention relates to a method of adhering at least one pocket to an outer surface of a container. In particular, the invention relates to the sticking of an outer foil pocket to a beverage bag container.
A method of attaching beverage straws to foil bags is known from the prior art, for example from US-A-5,979,142. In this method, the straws are placed in foil pockets which are already connected to each other and form a web with pockets. A thin adhesive layer is applied to the pocket web and is covered with a carrier tape (also called cover tape or liner). The carrier tape is pulled back by the deflection roller so that the adhesive application site is exposed. Individual pockets with straws are cut one from the incoming web further in the process of cutting with a knife. The knife can be moved from and to and / or rotated. The pockets are held on the deflection roller by suitable devices, for example a vacuum hole in the deflection roller. A pressing device, for example a lever, presses the straw pockets against the beverage bags which are fed to the device for the attachment of the straws. In this way, the beverage bags are equipped with straws placed in the pockets by gluing them.
The object of the invention is to provide a further improvement of the fastening method in terms of speed and reliability, and in particular to provide a method, device and object that are an improvement of the known method and an improvement of the product obtained by this method.
According to the invention, a method of adhering at least one pocket to the outer surface of a container, in particular a foil pocket for a beverage bag, in which a pocket web with an adhesive layer covered with a carrier tape is prepared, and the pocket web is removed. a carrier tape, which covers the adhesive between the web with pockets and the carrier tape, and leaves the adhesive on the web with pockets, and then at least one pocket is cut off by a cutting process and the pocket is glued to the container by glue, characterized in that the glue is placed between the pocket web and the carrier tape in adhesive zones separated from each other along the carrier tape by non-stick zones, and at the edges of the upper and lower carrier tape, non-stick areas are formed which extend along the carrier tape, and cuts are made in the non-stick area.
Preferably, the adhesive zones and the non-adhesive zones are formed in specific segments with respect to the pockets of the web with pockets.
A carrier tape of plastic, paper, foil, fabric, composite material, metal, rubber, synthetic rubber, material for V-belts or toothed belts or foil is formed.
A carrier tape is formed to have at least one low-adhesion side, and is preferably coated with silicone, Teflon, or a coating of anti-stick paint or the like.
A soft, preferably hot-melt adhesive is used.
The cutting process is carried out by means of a blade and / or a knife that moves to and from and / or rotates.
The non-adhesive layers are shaped transversely to the carrier tape.
Non-stick zones are formed by omitting them when applying glue, giving them inactive features or covering them.
The cut is made in the area outside the elements contained in the pockets.
The pocket is glued to the container by means of several adhesive zones and / or several carrier tapes.
The web with pockets with carrier tape and adhesive is shaped immediately before the carrier tape is removed.
The carrier tape is guided in a closed circuit. The pockets of the pocket web hold drinking straws and / or cutlery and / or mixing devices and / or auxiliaries and / or small gifts.
Adhesive zones are formed in the pocket web in a longitudinal direction to the pocket web, in particular centrally of the pockets.
At least one pocket is adhered to a container that is a beverage reservoir, liquid container or package.
The container is a beverage container, a liquid container or a package.
In the method according to the invention for sticking the pockets to the containers, the knife separating the pockets from the pocket web does not come into contact with the adhesive. This prevents the knife from getting dirty with glue, which could damage the knife blade.
PL 208 964 B1
It is possible to use a soft glue, which has a high adhesive strength. Since the adhesive covering (e.g. a pocket or tape has a support) on the container according to the invention extends beyond the adhesive zone, and also due to the non-adhesive areas along the edge of the carrier tape, it is possible for the adhesive to flow securely in a secure manner. before it comes out, beyond the riser.
The use of an adhesive tape in the method according to the invention allows the glue to be disposed thereon for different applications. This is due to the fact that the adhesive of a given adhesive zone is applied to the container together with the carrier tape. Due to the covering of the carrier tape, it is possible to apply pressure. After that, the carrier tape can be easily removed. This is due to the fact that the carrier tape, from which the adhesive has already been transferred to the object, can be pulled back, releasing the carrier tape from the last applied adhesive zone. Also when the carrier tape is divided, it is easy to grip and pull back because there are segments where the carrier tape does not stick to the object. There is no need to look for a corner where the carrier tape can be gripped and pulled back, as is the case with commercially available double-sided adhesive tapes. After removing the carrier tape, the adhesive remains on the object. The adhesive tape can be produced as a double-sided adhesive tape or also as a transfer adhesive tape.
The subject of the invention is discussed with reference to the embodiments shown in the drawing, in which Fig. 1 shows schematically a pocket web used in the method according to the invention, Fig. 2 schematically various examples of adhesive zones of the pocket web used in the method according to the invention, Fig. 3. - schematically an adhesive tape used in the method according to the invention, fig. 4 - schematically a device for carrying out the method according to the invention, in various implementation steps, fig. 5 - schematically a container produced by the method according to the invention, fig. 6 - diagram of a method and device for the production of an adhesive tape used in the method according to the invention, fig. 7 - method diagram and devices for sticking at least one pocket to the outer surface of a container, fig. 8 - another diagram of a method and device for sticking at least one pocket to an outer surface of a container, fig. 9 - a diagram of a further example of a method and device for sticking at least one pocket to an outer surface of a container, and fig. 10 - a diagram of a further method and device for sticking at least one pocket to the outer surface of the container.
The method of sticking at least one pocket to the outer surface of the container is shown in Fig. 9 and Fig. 10 and consists in sticking a pocket 2 cut from the prepared web 1 with pockets 2 to the container 3, e.g.
Referring to Figs. 4a, 4b, 10 and with reference to Figs. 1-3, the step of preparing the pocket for sticking to the outer surface of the container will be explained.
A pocket web 1 is prepared, such as the web described with reference to FIG. 1. The pocket web 1 shown in FIG. 1 for carrying out the method according to the invention is made of a film material and has pockets 2 arranged parallel to each other. Advantageously, the pockets 2 of the web 1 may extend longitudinally one behind the other.
Each of the pockets 2 contains one or more straws 11. Instead of drinking straws, the pockets may contain cutlery, for example plastic, stirring devices, auxiliary utensils or small gifts, and the pocket may also contain more than one of these items. kinds. For foodstuffs, the pockets 2 have the advantage of being a hygienic and clean package for straws 11 or other objects.
The pockets 2 are formed in such a way that, as shown in Fig. 1, thin film webs are disposed at the front and rear of the drawing plane, between which the beverage straws 11 are placed. The foils on the front and back of the drawing plane are welded together in the segments 13 separating the straws 11 from each other. Moreover, the segments 13 have the function that when one pocket 2 is cut from the web 1 in the segment 13, no ambient air reaches the straw 11 and remains hygienically clean even after the pocket 2 is cut off.
Along the pocket web 1 is an adhesive tape 14 with adhesive zones 12 arranged. Adhesive zones 12 are located in the longitudinal direction of the pocket web 1 mainly at the center of each pocket 2. As shown in Fig. 1, slight deviation from the exact position is possible. adhesive zones 12 relative to pockets 2.
As shown in Figure 1, the adhesive zone 12 extends into the segment 13 to the left of the center of the pocket 2. As also shown in Figure 1, the adhesive zone 12 is provided on each pocket 2.
PL 208 964 B1
However, several adhesive zones 12 may be provided for each pocket 2. Also, there may be several adhesive tapes 14.
Adhesive zones 12 are repeated substantially periodically along the pocket web 1. Also the pockets 2 and the segments 13 of the web 1 are repeated periodically. Preferably, the periodicity of the adhesive zones 12 and the periodicity of the pocket 2 are the same.
The material surrounding the straws 11 can be any plastic or also paper, fabric, foil or thin material.
The adhesive that is applied to the adhesive zones 12 can be any. Adhesives with a good initial tack are preferred. Adhesives which have specific flow properties providing good adhesive strength can be applied. Such adhesives are also referred to as soft adhesives. An example of such adhesives are hot melt adhesives.
The segments 13 of Fig. 1 can also extend all the way to the straw 11, so that the main part of the web 1 consists of segments 13. Adhesive zones 12 can also extend from one segment 13 through the straw to an adjacent segment 13.
For cutting the web 1 with pockets into the individual pockets 2, it is advantageous if the segments 13 are large, since then the area in which the separation of the pockets 2 from the web 1 can be made is larger.
Fig. 2 shows various examples of adhesive zones 12. The adhesive zones may be square, rectangular, round, triangular or any other regular or irregular shape. It is also possible to divide the adhesive zone 12 into several individual adhesive zones with the shapes mentioned above. Thus, the adhesive zone 12 may be divided into two, three, four or more zones.
Fig. 3 shows an example of an adhesive tape 14 applied to a pocket web. This type of adhesive tape 14 can be used on the web 1 shown in Fig. 1. Adhesive zones 12 are attached to a carrier tape 4. The different adhesive zones 12 are separated from each other by non-adhesive zones 15. In the embodiment shown, the non-adhesive zones 15 extend transversely from the top edge to the bottom edge of the carrier tape 4, and the adhesive zones 12 are separated along the carrier tape by non-adhesive zones 15. The non-adhesive zones 15 can be formed by omitting the application of adhesive 20. It is also possible to create non-stick zones by imparting inactive characteristics to the adhesive, for example by irradiating or exposing the adhesive to certain chemicals, vapors, gases, dusts, and the like. Also, the adhesive 20 can be covered by the layer forming the non-stick zone 15.
On the edges of the upper and lower carrier tape 4, non-adhesive areas 16 are formed which extend along the carrier tape 4. Consequently, the carrier tape 4 projects beyond the surface of the adhesive zone 12 in all directions, whereby the adhesive can flow out somewhat without going beyond the edges.
As shown in Fig. 3, the sizes of the adhesive zone 12 and the non-adhesive zone 15 need not always be identical, but should be approximated.
The pocket web 1 prepared in this way is introduced into the device for sticking the pockets to the beverage bags, shown in Fig. 10. The carrier belt 4 is removed on the deflection roller 10 by being pulled back and led away to the side. The pocket web 1, consisting of consecutively arranged pockets 2, each containing a drinking straw 11, is fed from the right side to a second deflection roller 9. A second deflection roller 9, which is shown in Fig. 10 is shown schematically in plan view in Figs. 4a and 4b. As can be seen from Figs. 4a and 4b, on the outer side of the pocket web 1 there are adhesive zones 12 in which the glue 20 is placed. On the second deflection roller 9, the individual pockets 2 are cut from the web 1. At the moment shown in Fig. 4a, in which the adhesive zone 12 with glue is positioned in front of the knife 5, no cutting process takes place. At the moment shown in Fig. 4b, when there is no sticky zone 12 in front of the knife 5, the knife moves to the deflection roller 9 so that the pocket 2 is cut from the pocket web 1 by the sharp front edge of the knife. The cutting movement of the knife 5 is controlled, according to the invention, by a suitable control such that the cutting takes place in the center between the pockets 2. The cutting is preferably carried out in the segments 13 of the web 1 with pockets. Information is provided to the control device in a mechanical, electrical, optical or any other manner about when the cutting process is to be performed depending on the position of the pocket 2 and / or the adhesive zone 12. Second deflection roller 9 as shown in Figures 4a, 4b it can also be designed as a deflecting pulley, shown schematically in Fig. 10. The individual pockets 2 are then arranged in
In the recesses of the second deflection roller 9. Control of the cutting process may be accomplished by flipping or controlling the rotational position of the second deflection roller 9 or the deflecting pulley.
The pockets 2 to the left of the knife 5 are already separated and can be held on the second deflection roller 9 by suitable devices, such as, for example, vacuum openings or other clamping devices.
Due to the fact that the knife 5 separates the pocket 2 from the web 1 with pockets at a point where there is no adhesive zone 12, the knife does not come into contact with the glue of the sticking zones 12. As a result, contamination of the knife 5 with glue is largely avoided. Such soiling may adversely shorten the life of the knife 5 or lead to a malfunction. By means of the method according to the invention, when using the web 1 with pockets according to the invention, the life of the knife 5, i.e. the time in which the knife cuts without problem, can be significantly increased.
After the pockets 2 have been separated, the pocket 2 is pressed against a container 3, in particular a beverage bag, by means of a pressing device 7 shown in Fig. 10.
An adhesive tape maker 14 with pockets is shown in Fig. 7. It comprises a head 17 for transferring glue 20 to a portion of a carrier tape 4. The adhesive tape maker 14 also includes a carrier tape supply unit 4, preferably a spool dispensing unit. . In addition, the device comprises an assembly for discharging the carrier tape 4 from the head 17. This assembly is not shown in Fig. 6.
The carrier strip 4 is held in contact with the head 17 by means of rollers or other biasing means. This contact can be very light.
It is possible that the carrier tape 4 is separate from the head and the adhesive is applied from a distance, for example by spraying.
The method for producing the adhesive tape 14 for the pocket web 1 is explained on the basis of FIG. 6. The carrier tape feeder 4, not shown, supplies the carrier tape 4 coming from the left in FIG. 6. The carrier tape 4 can, for example, be unwound from a roll. As the carrier tape 4 passes the head 17, glue 20 is periodically released from the head 17 and applied to the carrier tape 4. In this way, adhesive zones 12 and non-adhesive zones 15 are produced.
After the adhesive 20 has been applied to the adhesive zones 12 on the carrier tape 4, the adhesive tape 14 thus produced is passed to the right in Fig. 6. It can be used directly, for example to produce a pocket web 1 for a container according to the invention, or it can be rolled up. . If the adhesive tape is rolling, then it is advantageous to use a carrier tape 4 which has poor adhesion on both sides. It is also advantageous if one side has significantly less adhesive properties than the other side, so that when the rolled adhesive tape 14 is unwound, the adhesive 20 always remains in the adhesive zones 12 on one side of the carrier tape 4.
If the adhesive tape 14 is used immediately, then it is sufficient if the carrier tape 4 has poor adhesive properties on one side only.
The required poor adhesion can, for example, be obtained by covering the backing tape. Silicon-coated carrier strips 4 are particularly preferred. Also, Teflon or other non-sticky material can be used for the coating, for example anti-stick paints. Risers which consist entirely of low-adhesion material are also preferably used.
When producing the adhesive tape 14 used in the method according to the invention, it is possible to apply the adhesive to the adhesive zone 12 by means of several heads or by means of several glue application elements arranged in parallel side by side over the carrier tape material extending from the main roller. Then the riser material is cut into individual risers 4. It is also possible, according to the invention, to manufacture individual carrier tapes 4 from the main roll and then apply glue 20 thereto in the adhesive zones 12.
The pocket web 1 can be produced, for example, by the apparatus shown in Fig. 7. The apparatus comprises rollers 18 and 19, which may be of the same size or different, and are arranged so that the web 1 with pockets fits and is pressed against each other therebetween. pockets and adhesive tape 14. In addition, there is provided an adhesive application unit 20 in the adhesive zones of the carrier tape 4, for example a head 17 similar to that of Fig. 6. The device for producing the pocket web 1 has to be equipped so that the adhesive zones 12 mainly meet the pocket 2 in the center along the pocket web 1. It is particularly advantageous if the non-adhesive zones 15 of the carrier tape 4, which are located between the adhesive zones 12, meet the segments 13.
Between the pockets 2 of the pocket web 1 (see fig. 1), where the pockets 2 will later be cut from the pocket web 1.
With the device schematically shown in Fig. 7, this is achieved through the provision of a control unit 21 which is connected to the signal converter and the head 17. The signal converter 24 may be mechanical, electronic, optical or any other type. A grooved wheel may be used in which the straws 11 are arranged as a suitable system constituting a signal converter. The signal transducer 24 transmits a signal to the control unit 21, for example relating to the start, middle or end of the pocket 2 or the straw 11 in the pocket 2. The control unit 21 then preferably sends a signal to the glue application head 17. Consequently, it is possible to matching the adhesive zones 12 and the non-adhesive zones 15 exactly to the respective pockets 2 of the pocket web 1.
It is possible to synchronize the application of glue 20 by the head 17 in a time cycle depending on the speed of the carrier tape 4 or web 1 with the pockets.
The amount of adhesive 20 applied to each adhesive zone 12 is preferably predetermined.
Instead of using two rollers 18 and 19 to connect the carrier tape 4 and the web 1 to the pockets, it is possible to use only one roller to pivot the carrier tape 4 or the web 1 with pockets, or even not to use any roll, and feeding the web 1 with the pockets and the tape together. carrier 4 is then realized by the fact that a limiting point is formed through which the web 1 and the carrier tape 4 are pulled.
In another exemplary apparatus for producing a pocket web 1, the head 17 for applying glue to the carrier tape 4 may be omitted, but instead a system is used by which glue 20 is applied to the pocket web 1. The covering of the adhesive zones 12 with the carrier tape 4 then takes place analogously to the device described above. Here too, the application of glue by the head 17 may be interrupted by the passage of one pocket or the contents of the pocket, or it may be synchronized in a time cycle depending on the speed of the carrier tape and web 1 with the pockets.
Fig. 8 shows another example of an apparatus for making a pocket web 1 that can be used in the step of preparing a pocket web for the method according to the invention. A head 17 is used to transfer the glue 20 to the carrier tape 4. The carrier tape 4 is guided or conveyed by deflection rollers 28. There is also a carrier tape holder 4. The apparatus also includes at least one deflection roller 27 for guiding the web 1 with pockets. Rollers 18 and 19 are used for joining and gluing together the carrier tape 4 and the web 1 with the pockets. The carrier tape 4 and the web 1 with pockets are also pressed against each other by means of the rollers 18 and 19.
Furthermore, the device comprises a grooved wheel 25 in which the straws 11 are arranged in the grooves. This ensures a supply of the straws with adjustable distance between them and / or the speed or cycle with which the straws 11 or pockets 2 are delivered. Also, alternatively or additionally, it is possible to use the grooved wheel 2 5 as a pulse transducer in which the passage of one straw generates a pulse.
Behind the head 17, in the direction of the belt, there is an inspection unit 30 for checking the presence and / or lateral position of the carrier tape 4 or the adhesive tape 14. It can also check the properties of the adhesive tape 14, such as, for example, size and / or quality, or presence of adhesive zones 12 on the carrier tape 4. The checking unit 30 can advantageously also be connected to the control unit 21, and in the event of an error being detected and depending on the error, it can initiate appropriate measures such as shutdown, warning, adjusting the rollers of the holding unit or aligning other rollers or the head, or the like.
In addition, a control unit 21 is connected to one or more pulse transducers and the head 17. The control unit 21 can control the head so that it applies glue 20 at certain locations on the carrier tape 4. Guide units 29 are provided for guiding the web 1 at the respective positions. with pockets.
At the roller 18 there is a pulse transducer 24 adapted to detect passing straws. For the detection of straws, the pulse transducer may be equipped with an optical, mechanical or electronic or other system. It is connected to the control unit 21 and can transmit these control pulses.
Pictures of the finished web 1 with pockets are taken by means of an inspection camera 26 which is connected to the control unit 21. Various parameters can be read from these photos in the control unit 21 by means of a computer program for processing and evaluating the image. These parameters preferably include the dimensions of the non-stick zone 15, the dimensions of the adhesive zone 12,
The correct position of the adhesive zone 12 relative to the straw 11 and the distance between the adhesive zones 12.
An inspection camera 26 may be used for monitoring and control. For example, with the monitoring camera 26 it is possible to check the relative position of the adhesive zone 12 with respect to the pocket 2 on the web 1 with the pockets during operation, and then it is possible to adjust the application of the glue by the head 17 with respect to time, i.e. to delay or accelerate with respect to the previous speed. .
By means of the device of Fig. 8, it is also possible to apply the glue 20 by means of the head 17 in the adhesive zones 12 of the web 1 with pockets.
The step of producing the pocket web for carrying out the method of the invention comprises bringing the carrier tape 4 and the pocket web 1 in contact with each other. The pocket web 1 can, for example, be pulled from a storage container or unwound from a roll. The carrier tape 4 can likewise, for example, be unwound from a roll. In both embodiments, the carrier web 4 and the pocket web 1 are brought into contact with each other via respective rollers 18, 19. Pulse transducers 24, 25, 29 signal to the control unit 21 the passage of the individual web parts 1. The control unit 21 then controls the head 17 so that it discharges glue 20 into the adhesive zone 12. According to one embodiment of the method according to the invention, glue can be dispensed onto the tape. carrier 4, and according to a second embodiment of the invention the adhesive is released onto the pocket web 1. When glue is applied to the pocket web 1, the application is regulated by the control unit 21 such that the glue is applied in the longitudinal direction to the web 1 mainly at the center of each pocket 2. The non-stick zones 15 are mainly arranged in segments 13 (of Fig. 1), i.e. in the segments in which the pocket 2 may be cut from the pocket web 1.
When glue is applied by the head 17 to the carrier tape 4, the application of the glue occurs in the adhesive zones 12 so that when the carrier tape 4 and the web 1 with pockets are brought into contact, the adhesive zones 12 are mainly oriented in the longitudinal direction of the web 1 with pockets, centered on the corresponding pocket. The non-adhesive zones 15 are mainly located in the pockets 13 of the web 1. The control of the glue application head 17 in the adhesive zones 12 can also be accomplished by adjusting the time cycle depending on the speed of the carrier tape 4 or the pocket web 1.
The pocket web 1 can be inspected by an inspection camera 26 as described above.
The pocket web 1 for the container according to the invention so produced may be rolled or loosely placed in the package. It is also possible for the web 1 with pockets thus produced to be used immediately in the device shown in fig. 4 and fig. 10. In this case, the carrier web 4 can be fed in as shown in fig. 10 and led away, i.e. pulled away by the deflection roller 10 from the device to the left as shown in Fig. 7, ensuring a closed circulation for the carrier tape 4. It is also possible to wind up the stretched carrier tape 4 and use it again to produce adhesive tape 14 or web 1 with pockets.
In another embodiment of the method of sticking the pockets 2 to the container 3, glue 20 is applied by means of a head 17, as shown for example in Fig. 6, to the pocket web 1 immediately before cutting the pocket 2 from the web 1, then the pocket 2 is cut from the web 1. with pockets as described above, and the pocket 2 is glued to the container 3. The carrier tape 4 can then be omitted. As shown in Fig. 9, an application roller 31 can also be provided on which glue 20 is applied and with which glue is then applied to the pocket web 1, for example by applying pressure. The surface of the application roller 31 is preferably prevented from sticking in this case. For this purpose, the application roller 31 can, for example, have a surface coating or be covered with silicone, Teflon, rubber or a non-stick layer, in particular a non-stick paint coating. The application roller 31 also functions as a transfer roller.
Adhesive 20 is preferably immediately applied to application roller 31 at positions corresponding to adhesive zones 12 separated by positions corresponding to the non-stick zones 15 of the pocket web 1, and these zones are mapped onto the pocket web 1. The adhesive zones 12 are here arranged on the pockets 2 on the pocket web 1, so that the pockets 2 can be cut from the web 1 with pockets in the segments 13 with non-stick zones 15. In this method, the moving carrier tape 4 can be replaced by a roller, which increases reliability. Preferably, according to the invention, the adhesive zones 12 and the non-adhesive zones 15 are formed in certain ones
To the pockets 2 of the web 1 with the pockets. The adhesive used is an adhesive with a high initial adhesive strength, in particular a soft adhesive, preferably hot-melt.
The cutting process is carried out by means of a blade and / or a knife 5 that moves to and from the second deflection roller 9 and / or rotates.
The non-stick zones 15 can be shaped by omitting them from applying glue 20, rendering them inactive or covering them.
The cut is made between the elements contained in the pockets 2 and the pocket 2 is glued to the container 3 by means of several adhesive zones 12 and / or several carrier strips 4.
The pockets 2 of the web 1 with pockets hold drinking straws 11 and / or cutlery and / or mixing devices and / or auxiliaries and / or small gifts.
Adhesive zones 12 are formed in the pocket web 1 in a longitudinal direction to the pocket web 1, in particular centrally with respect to the pockets 2.
The container 3 is a beverage container, a liquid container or a package.
An apparatus for carrying out this exemplary method is shown in Fig. 9. The head 17 is positioned adjacent to the application roller 31 and can apply glue 20 directly to the application roller 31. The web 1 with pockets is fed to the application roller 31 so that the glue 20 is transferred from there. application roll 31 for web 1 with pockets. Furthermore, downstream of the application roller 31 in the direction of web travel there is a cutting device, preferably a knife 5, for separating the pockets 2. The pockets 2 can be brought into contact with the containers 3 by means of a pressing device 7. The head 17 is preferably controlled such that glue 20 is applied to the web 1 with pockets forming adhesive zones 12 which are located approximately in the center of the pocket 2. Consequently, the pockets 2 they can be cut in the area of non-stick zones 15 from web 1 with pockets in segment 13. Adhesive zones 12 are spaced apart and separated by non-stick zones 15. For controlling the head 17, control devices 21 and signal and pulse converters 24, 25, 29 are preferably used, as shown in Figs. 7 and 8. Also, an inspection camera as shown in Fig. 8 may be used.
A container 3 produced according to the invention is shown enlarged in Fig. 5. Here, reference is made to a beverage bag as an example of a container for beverages, liquids or other packages. A pocket 2 is provided on the container 3, in which a straw 11 is shielded. Moreover, an adhesive zone 12 is indicated which extends centrally with respect to the transverse direction of the pocket, i.e. in the direction 22 indicated by the double arrow. With respect to the longitudinal direction of the pocket 2, the adhesive zone 12 can be positioned at any position. The preferred position depends on the container on which the pocket is to be glued. For foil bags with liquid, the lower part is the preferred position.
Extending to the right and left of the pocket 2 are portions 13 ', 13 of the segment 13 of the pocket web 1. The parts 13 'and 13 are formed by cutting the pockets 2 from the web 1 with pockets. Due to the fact that the adhesive tape 14 of the pocket web 1 has a non-stick zone 15 as shown in Fig. 3, the adhesive zone 12 in the direction 22 does not extend to the edge of the pocket 2. Consequently, and since the pocket 2 has a greater dimension in the longitudinal direction of the carrier tape 4 than in its width direction, the pocket 2 projects beyond the adhesive zone 12 in each of the directions 22 and 23 indicated by arrows. to the edge of pocket 2 in direction 22 as known in the art.
Due to the fact that the pocket 2 extends beyond the adhesive zone 12 in each of the directions 22, 23 indicated by the arrows, a soft glue can be used which can flow a little without extending beyond the area between the pocket 2 and the foil bag. As a result, it is possible to use an adhesive which has better adhesion properties, i.e. provides a greater adhesive strength.
