    An implant system for resurfacing at least a portion of an articulation surface of a bone, the system comprising:an implant (300;326;360;410;470;428;500;550;580;602;630;640;670;700;754;776;794;928) having a top articular surface (306;510;554;758;780;798;931) and an opposing bone apposition surface (303;430;509;556;760;782;800;938);a first line (438) coupled with the implant so as to extend away from the bone apposition surface;a tubular bone anchor (812;812A;812B: 980A;980B) having an interior surface (820) bounding a channel (826) that extends through the bone anchor, a portion of the first line extending through the channel, characterized by a collet (813) at least partially disposed within the channel (826) of the bone anchor (812;980A;980B) and encircling the first line (438), the collet threadedly engaging the bone anchor and having a plurality of fingers (856) that radially inwardly constrict to engage with the first line when the collet is advanced into the channel of the bone anchor.

    The implant system as recited in any of the preceding claims, wherein the implant (300;326;360;410;470;428;500) comprises a condylar implant.

    The implant system as recited in any of the preceding claims, wherein the implant (326; 360) comprises:a lower bearing plate (328;362);and an upper bearing plate (330;361) having the top articular surface (306) formed thereon, one of the lower bearing plate and upper bearing plate having a track (340;363) formed thereon while the other has a key (354;364) that slidably rides within the track.

    The implant system as recited in claims 1-5, wherein the implant (500) comprises:a tray (502) having the bone apposition surface (509);and a bearing plate (504) mounted on the tray, the bearing plate being comprised of a polymeric material and having the top articular surface (510).

    The implant system as recited in claims 1-5, wherein the implant (300) comprises:a bearing plate (301) having the top articular surface (306) and an opposing bottom surface (308), a pocket (316) being formed on the bottom surface of the bearing plate;and an inlay (320) of porous bone ingrowth material secured within the pocket.

    The implant system as recited in claims 1-5, wherein the implant (410; 928) comprises:a bearing plate (412;424;930) having the top articular surface (306;931) and an opposing bottom surface (414;425;932), a plurality of spaced apart pockets (416A;416B;426A, 426B;426C;934A;934B) being formed on the bottom surface of the bearing plate;and an inlay (422A;422B;936A;936B) of porous bone ingrowth material secured within each of the plurality of spaced apart pockets.

    The implant system as recited in claims 1-5 and 8-11, wherein the implant (602;630;640;670;700) comprises a first part (603;642) and a second part (604;644) that can be selectively connected together, each of the first part and the second part comprising a portion of the top articular surface and the bone apposition surface.

    The implant system as recited in any of the preceding claims, further comprising at least one spike (434;686) projecting from the bone apposition surface (430;556) of the implant.

    The implant system as recited in any of the preceding claims, wherein a first end (440) of the first line (438) is removably connected to the implant.

    The Implant system as recited in claims 1-12, further comprising a socket (312) formed on the bone apposition side (308) of the body, a portion of the first line (438) being disposed within the socket.

    The Implant system as recited in claims 1-21, wherein the first line (438) comprises at least a wire or braded cable that are comprised of metal.
