    Claims of equivalent WO 9514739 A2 CLAIMS 1. A polymeric composition comprising:a heat distortion resistant polymer;a radio frequency ("RF") susceptible polymer;a compatibilizing polymer;and, the composition having physical properties within the range a= 70%;c 1.0;e= 0.05 h<= 60%;i= 0;wherein: a is the mechanical modulus of the composition measured according to ASTM D-882;b is the percent recovery in length of the composition after an initial 20% deformation;c is the optical haze of the composition processed into a film 9 mils in thickness measured in accordance to ASTM D-1003;d is the lost tangent of the composition at 1 Hz measured at melt processing temperatures;e is the elemental halogen content by weight of the composition;f is the low molecular weight water soluble fraction of the composition;g is the dielectric loss between 1 and 60 MHz and over temperatures of 25 to 250 °C of the composition;h sample creep measured at 121 °C for a 1 inch strip of the composition under 27 psi loading;and, i the composition exhibits no strain whitening after being strained at moderate speeds of about 20 inches (50cm) per minute to about 100% elongation (twice the original length) and the presence of strain whitening (indicated by 1) or lack thereof (indicated by 0) is noted. 2. The composition of claim 1 wherein the RF susceptible polymer is selected from ethylene copolymers having 50-85% ethylene content with comonomers selected from the group consisting of acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, ester derivatives of acrylic acid with alcohols having 1-10 carbons, ester derivatives of methacrylic' acid with alcohols having 1-10 carbons, vinyl acetate, and vinyl alcohol. 3. The composition of claim 1 wherein the RF susceptible polymer is selected from the group of copolymers containing segments of polyurethane, polyester, polyurea, polyimide, polysulfones, and polyamides. 4. The composition of claim 1 wherein the RF susceptible polymer is a dimer fatty acid polyamide. 5. The composition of claim 1 wherein the heat distortion resistant polymer is a high melting temperature and highly flexible polyalpha olefin. 6. The composition of claim 5 wherein the heat distortion resistant polymer is a flexible polypropylene. 7. The composition of claim 1 wherein the heat distortion resistant polymer is selected from the group consisting of polyamides, polyimides, polyurethanes, polypropylene, and polymethylpentene. 8. The composition of claim 7 wherein the heat distortion resistant polymer is a propylene copolymer. 9. The composition of claim 8 wherein the propylene copolymer is a propylene alpha-olefin random copolymer. 10. The composition of claim 1 wherein the heat distortion resistant polymer is a random copolymer of propylene and ethylene, where the ethylene content is in an amount within the range of 0-6% of the propylene copolymer. 11. The composition of claim 1 wherein the compatibilizing polymer is a styrene ethylene-butene styrene ("SEBS") block copolymer. 12. The composition of claim 11 wherein the compatibilizing polymer is an SEBS block copolymer that is maleic anhydride functionalized. 13. The composition of claim 1 further including a flexibilizing polymer. 14. The composition of claim 13 wherein the flexibilizing polymer is a non propylene based polyolefin selected from the group consisting of ultra low density polyethylene, polybutene, butene ethylene copolymers, ethylene vinyl acetate, copolymers with vinyl acetate with vinyl acetate contents between approximately 18-50% by weight, ethylene methyl acrylate copolymers with methyl acrylate contents between approximately 20-40% by weight, ethylene n-butyl acrylate copolymers with n- butyl acrylate content between 20-40% by weight, ethylene acrylic acid copolymers with the acrylic acid content of greater than approximately 15% by weight. 15. The composition of claim 14 wherein the flexibilizing polymer is an ultra low density polyethylene. 16. The composition of claim 14 wherein the flexibilizing polymer is polybutene-1. 17. A polymer based composition for fabricating into articles comprising: a high melting temperature and highly flexible polyalpha olefin;a radio frequency ("RF") susceptible polymer;a compatibilizing polymer;and, the composition having physical properties within the range a= 70%;c 1.0;e= 0.05 h<= 60'%;i= 0;wherein: a is the mechanical modulus of the composition measured according to ASTM D-882;b is the percent recovery in length of the composition after an initial 20% deformation;c is the optical haze of the composition processed into a film 9 mils in thickness measured in accordance to ASTM D-1003;d is the lost tangent of the composition at 1 Hz measured at melt processing temperatures;e is the elemental halogen content by weight of the composition;f is the low molecular weight water soluble fraction of the composition;g is the dielectric loss between 1 and 60 MHz and over temperatures of 25 to 250 °C of the composition;h sample creep measured at 121 °C for a 1 inch strip of the composition under 27 psi loading;and, i the composition exhibits no strain whitening after being strained at moderate speeds of about 20 inches (50cm) per minute to about 100% elongation (twice the original length) and the presence of strain whitening (indicated by 1) or lack thereof (indicated by 0) is noted. 18. The composition of claim 17 wherein the polyalpha olefin has a high melting temperature greater than 130 °C and is highly flexible with a modulus of less than 20,000 psi. 19. The composition of claim 18 wherein the RF susceptible polymer is selected from ethylene copolymers having 50-85% ethylene content with comonomers selected from ' the group consisting of acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, ester derivatives of acrylic acid with alcohols having 1-10 carbons, ester derivatives of methacrylic acid with alcohols having 1-10 carbons, vinyl acetate, and vinyl alcohol. 20. The composition of claim 18 wherein the RF susceptible polymer is selected from the group of copolymers containing segments of polyurethane, polyester, polyurea, polyimide, polysulfones, and polyamides.

    41. The composition of claims 32 and 38 wherein the RF polymer is a dimer fatty acid polyamide. 42. The composition of claim 40 wherein the polypropylene based polyolefin is in an amount in the range of 30-60% by weight of the composition. 43. The composition of claim 40 wherein the non propylene based polyolefin is in an amount in the range of 25-50% by weight of the composition. 44. The composition of claim 43 wherein the RF susceptible polymer is in an amount within the range of 3-40% by weight of the composition. 45. The composition of claim 44 wherein the compatibilizing polymer is within the range of 5-40% by weight of the composition. 46. A polymer based composition for fabricating into articles comprising:a polypropylene polymer in an amount within the range of 30- 60% by weight of the composition;a non polypropylene based polyolefin in an amount within the range of 25-50% by weight of the composition;a dimer fatty acid polyamide in an amount within the range of 3-40% by weight of the composition;and, a styrene ethylene-butene styrene ("SEBS") block copolymer in an amount within the range of 5-40% by weight of the composition. 47. The composition of claim 46 wherein the non polypropylene based polyolefin is a polyethylene. 48. The composition of claim 47 wherein the non polypropylene based polyolefin is polybutene-1. 49. The composition of claim 46 wherein the SEBS block copolymer is maleic anhydride functionalized. 50. A polymer based composition for fabrication into articles comprising: a flexible heat distortion resistant polyolefin in an amount within the range of 40-90% by weight of the composition;a radio frequency ("RF") susceptible polymer in an amount within the range of 5-50% by weight of the composition, the RF polymer being selected from the group of ethylene copolymers having 50-85% ethylene content with comonomers selected from the group consisting of acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, ester derivatives of acrylic acid with alcohols having 1-10 carbons, ester derivatives of methacrylic acid with alcohols having 1-10 carbons, vinyl alcohol, and vinyl acetate;and, a styrene ethylene-butene styrene block copolymer in an amount within the range of 5-30% by weight of the composition.
