Orthogonally frequency multiplexing system.

Abstract

A data transceiver system via radio of amplitude modulation in quadrature of orthogonal multiplexing (OQAM) is described, wherein a plurality of sub-channels occupy equally spaced frequencies and the frequency location of sub-channels in the transmitter is realised by means of a single modulator with multitone carrier and in the receiver the single sub-channels are brought back to the original band by means of a single demodulator with multitone carrier.

11 claims: 5 independent, 6 dependent

  1. 1
Data transceiver system via radio of amplitude modulation in quadrature of orthogonal multiplexing (OQAM), wherein a plurality of sub-channels occupy equally spaced frequencies, and the frequency location of sub-channels in the transmitter is realised by means of a single modulator with multitone carrier and in the receiver the single sub-channels are brought back to the original band by means of a single demodulator with multitone carrier.
  2. 5
Transceiver system according to one or more of the previous claims, characterised in that a block (DS) is foreseen in the transmitter that receives every input sequence (cn(t)) and that regroups the two paths obtained with real part and coefficient of the imaginary part by means of a parallel series converter (P/S) multiplying first by the complex quantity -j, the path that in the original diagram foresaw a sine modulation, in such a way the original complex sequences (cn(t)) with 2T spacing are converted in complex sequences (xn(t)) with T spacing.
  3. 9
Transceiver system according to one or more of the previous claims, characterised in that the transmitter comprises:- a parallel-series converter P/S, that provides the high speed input signal with(s(to));- a high speed filtration with a poliphase filter (Q(f));- a multitone modulator (MTM) with carrier y(Fto);- an equaliser (HE(f)).
  4. 10
Data transmitter conforming to the system according to one or more of the previous claims.
  5. 11
Data receiver conforming to the system according to one or more of the previous claims.
