In a first aspect, the present invention is directed to a fastening tape. The fastening tape comprises a factory binding end, which is attached to a disposable absorbent product and a user end. The user end of the fastener tape is adapted to attach the disposable absorbent product to the body of the user. The user end of the fastener flap comprises a mechanical fastener component and is configured to have a decoupling ratio of at least 1, 5: 1. In another aspect, the present invention relates to a disposable absorbent product. The disposable absorbent product comprises an outer shell, a body-contact liner, and an absorbent core located between the body-contact liner and the outer shell. The disposable absorbent product further comprises a holding flap comprising the factory link end, which is attached to the disposable absorbent product and a user end. The user end is adapted to fasten the disposable absorbent product to the user's body. The user end comprises a mechanical fastener component and is configured to have a decoupling ratio of at least 1.5: 1. In another aspect, The present invention relates to a fastener flap comprising a factory link end that is attached to an absorbent product and a user end. The user end is adapted to hold the disposable absorbent product to the user's body. The user end comprises a mechanical fastener component and has multiple lobes. The lobes define a valley in said mechanical fastener component of at least 5 millimeters and an angle in said mechanical fastener component of approximately 0 degrees to 60 degrees. Finally, the present invention is directed to a fastener flap comprising the factory link end which is attached to a disposable absorbent product and the user end. The user end is adapted to secure the disposable absorbent product to the body of the user. The user end comprises a mechanical fastener component and is cut to define a cut channel in said mechanical fastener component.
