Omnibus package for bottles

The subject of the additional invention is a collective packaging of bottles, in particular bottles with contents.

The known collective packaging of bottles is formed by two support strips connected by a closure, each support strip having a partially cut ring having a blank according to patent No. 180 849. The support strip having an axial cut also has a lateral cut between the face and each of the arms. In this solution, the zipper comprises a fastening thread placed in the zipper hole, the fastening clip having a width slightly larger than the width of the zipper hole. In contrast, the ring has two side wings bent at a right angle along the fold lines, relative to the base of the ring. In addition, the ring has a front flap folded at a right angle along the fold line, relative to the base of this ring, as well as a tongue located on the extension of this front flap. This tongue can be attached to the inside of the sling face with a staple or glue. In embodiments, the respective arms of the two sling straps can be joined together in two places by staples or glue to form a flexible package clamp.

The disadvantage of this solution is that the packaging in a flat folded form, delivered to the station where the bottles are loaded, is too thick, because in the place where the arms of the lifting straps are bent, three layers of material overlap, on each lifting strap a package is created giving a total of six layers of this material.

Another disadvantage of this known solution is that it allows a maximum of 6 bottles to be packaged.

The object of the invention is to avoid the drawbacks of the known solution.

Another object of the invention is to make a packaging that would also allow bottles to be secured in the packaging by means of tape, string, or other binding means.

These objectives are achieved by making a packaging in which, according to the invention, each of the two carrying straps has two symmetrically arranged side cutouts.

The invention also includes a solution in which each of the two lifting straps has two symmetrically arranged openings, preferably rectangular, each connected by a cut or bends to the edge of the lifting strap.

In yet another embodiment, each of the two slings includes at least one additional, partially cut ring having a blank.

The subject of the invention is shown in the embodiments in the drawing, in which fig. 1 shows the collective packaging of bottles, whose one support strap is unfolded on a plane, fig. 2 - a ring with wings forming the bottle's nest, unfolded on a plane, fig. 3 in a ready-to-load state of bottles, in perspective view, fig. 4 - top view packaging, fig. 5 - another embodiment of the packaging with an additional ring in the support belt, developed on a plane.

The packaging is formed of two carrying straps 1 (Fig. 1). The support strap 1 comprises a lock 2 for connecting the ends of the two support straps 1, the stem 3 constituting the support wall of the package and the handle 4 provided with an opening 5. The stem 3 is separated from the bottom 7 by a fold 6, and the bottom 7 is separated by a fold 8 from the face 9. The face 9 has at the end the cut 12 and the side cut 13 between this face and each of the arms 14, which are separated from this face 9 by folds 10 and 11 respectively.

Each arm 14 has bends 15 and 32, 33, making it easy to connect the arms 14 of the two slings 1 into a clamp. The joining of these arms 14 is done in two places with glue or staples.

The shaft 3 of the lifting strap 1 contains in the middle of the at least one partially cut ring 16 (Fig. 2) provided with a blank 17, two side wings 18 and a front wing 19. Ring 16 has a fold 20 connecting this ring with the shaft 3, two folds 21 connecting with side flaps 18, and two bends 22 connecting with front flap 19. Front flap 19 includes tongue 23 in extension, constituting a fastening to the inside of face 9. In this solution, each of the two lifting straps 1 includes two symmetrical lateral notches 28.

The lock 2 (Fig. 1) is assembled by two handles 4, each of which has one fold 24 constituting the upper ridge and two folds 25 enabling the formation of the lower ridge 26 of the handle 4 by inserting the fastening thread 27 into the opening 5 and its fold. The fastening strap 27 is slightly wider than the opening 5 to prevent it from sliding out of this opening 5 automatically.

In the embodiment shown in Fig. 5, each sling 1, instead of arms 14, has two symmetrically spaced openings 29. These openings can be of different shape, but are preferably rectangular. These holes 29 are connected by cuts 30 and folds 31 to the edges of the sling 1.

The packaging is formed into a spatial structure as follows: first bends 25, 24, and 15, 32, 33 in one direction, with 24 bends 180 °, the others bent 90 °. Then bends in the second direction of bends 6 and 8 at an angle of 90 ° and bends 10, 11 at an angle of 180 °. The rings 16 are then formed to bend the bend 20 in the second direction and the bends 21, 22 in the first direction, all at an angle of 90 °. Then, the front wing 19 and tongue 23 are attached by means of gluing or stitching to the inside of the face 9. Then a lock 2 is made of two holders 4 of two carrying straps 1 by passing the fastening threads 27 through the holes 5 and finally the respective pairs of arms 14 are joined.

By making two side cut-outs 28, it is possible to bend the arms 14 in the opposite direction that in the solution known from patent No. 180 849 and to accommodate the bead formed at the folding of the arms 14 in these side indentations 28. Thanks to this, the packaging, after being formed into a flat structure, folds only four instead of six layers of material from which it is made: preferably cardboard or corrugated board.

By making an additional, at least one, partially cut ring 16, after appropriately increasing the width of the sling 1, it is possible to pack ten bottles or even more in one package.

In the embodiment of Fig. 5, the use of arms 14 which, when folded, increases the width of the package may be omitted. To this end, holes 29 are made to allow the use of a band, for example of polypropylene tape or string. During strapping, the polypropylene tape is introduced into the holes 29 through the cuts 30 and guided to the right place through the elastic folds 31 located on both sides of each of the cuts 30. In known solutions, in which the strapping tape is used, it is placed in open notches. However, when the packaging is emptied, the tape falls and gets lost. In the solution of the invention, even after removing the bottles, the strapping tape is held by latches, each of which is formed by two elastic folds 31 and cut 30. In this way, the packaging is ready for reuse.

The more simple form of the latter packaging facilitates the use of automatic machines for its manufacture, and also reduces the consumption of packaging material.
