Abstract

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a device for mixing machine (1), especially for mixing ink, and for the purpose of achieving an automatic process which produces very accurate mixing results, it is proposed according to the present invention to include - a plurality of of color containers (2a-2n) each containing its own base color and connected to outlet lines (3a-3n) as base color can be dispensed through to - a valve-provided distributor (10) which can be made to communicate with the individual color container (2a-2n) via said outlet lines (3a-3n), and - control means (2) which according to a preset program influence the distributor means (10) to pass through the desired amount of base color from pre-selected color containers (2a-2n ) to a common mixing vessel (12), preferably on a weight basis.
