1 is an exemplary view of a multilayer antibacterial film according to an embodiment of the present invention. 2 is an exemplary view of an adhesive multilayer antibacterial film according to another embodiment of the present invention.
Hereinafter, a multilayer antibacterial film for preventing cross-contamination and cross-infection and a method for manufacturing the same according to the present invention will be described in detail. The drawings introduced below are provided as examples so that the spirit of the present invention can be sufficiently conveyed to those skilled in the art. Accordingly, the present invention is not limited to the drawings presented below and may be embodied in other forms, and the drawings presented below may be exaggerated to clarify the spirit of the present invention. At this time, if there is no other definition in the technical terms and scientific terms used, it has the meaning commonly understood by those of ordinary skill in the art to which this invention belongs, and the gist of the present invention in the following description and accompanying drawings Descriptions of known functions and configurations that may be unnecessarily obscure will be omitted.
One aspect of the present invention is a first layer comprising random polypropylene, random terpolypropylene, zinc oxide nanoparticles and silver nanoparticles; a second layer formed on the first layer and comprising random polypropylene and random terpolypropylene; a third layer formed on the second layer and including random polypropylene, random terpolypropylene, zinc oxide nanoparticles and silver nanoparticles; and wherein the first layer, the second layer and the third layer include It relates to a multilayer antibacterial film for preventing cross-contamination and cross-infection, which is manufactured by simultaneously molding and extruding materials forming each layer through a downward co-extrusion method.
As such, the multilayer antibacterial film according to the present invention prevents cross-contamination and cross-infection by arranging the first layer and the third layer containing the antibacterial material on the outside, and arranging the resin layer that does not contain the antibacterial material therein. At the same time, the transparency of the multilayer antibacterial film can be greatly improved.
In addition, by using a mixture of random polypropylene and random ter polypropylene as the base resin, mechanical properties such as tensile strength and impact strength can be improved while maintaining high transparency, and multilayer antibacterial properties are secured even for curved objects by securing high flexibility. There is an advantage that the film can be easily attached.
In addition, excellent antibacterial, antifungal, and antibacterial abilities can be secured by mixing zinc oxide nanoparticles and silver nanoparticles as an antibacterial material. Since zinc nanoparticles are not used, the high transparency of the film may not be compromised.
Hereinafter, the multilayer antibacterial film according to the present invention will be described in detail.
Referring to Figure 1, the multilayer antibacterial film according to an example of the present invention may have a three-layer structure, and an intermediate layer composed of a pure base resin without an antibacterial material is disposed therebetween, and contains an antibacterial material on both sides thereof By disposing the first layer and the third layer, cross-contamination and cross-infection can be effectively prevented. For example, when the multilayer antibacterial film is used as a food packaging material or as a protective film to protect a specific area of an object such as a touch screen, elevator touch unit, or shopping cart handle, bacterial infection and propagation by users outside the film It can prevent the growth of bacteria or bacteria inside the film (the part that comes in contact with food or objects).
In an example of the present invention, the first layer and the third layer may include random polypropylene, random terpolypropylene, zinc oxide nanoparticles, and silver nanoparticles. It can be used without special distinction between the inner layer and the outer layer, only labeled as a layer and a third layer.
The random polypropylene according to the present invention may be a propylene-ethylene random copolymer or a propylene-1-butene random copolymer, preferably a propylene-ethylene random copolymer in terms of improving tensile strength. As a more specific example, the propylene-ethylene random copolymer may have a density of 0.89 to 0.95 g/cm 3 and a melt index (MI, 230° C., 2.16 kg load) of 3 to 10 g/10 min, but must be limited thereto it is not going to be
The random terpolypropylene according to the present invention may be a propylene-ethylene-1-butene random triple copolymer. As a more specific example, the propylene-ethylene-1-butene random triple copolymer may have a density of 0.89 to 0.95 g/cm 3 and a melt index (MI, 230° C., 2.16 kg load) of 3 to 10 g/10 min. However, it is not necessarily limited thereto.
In particular, in the present invention, by using a mixture of random polypropylene and random terpolypropylene as the base resin, it is possible to improve mechanical properties such as tensile strength and impact strength while maintaining high transparency, and to secure high flexibility to have a curved structure The multilayer antibacterial film can be easily attached to the surface.
Specifically, the weight ratio of the random polypropylene to the random terpolypropylene may be 5:5 to 7:3, and more preferably 5.5:4.5 to 6.5:3.5. In this range, it is preferable to secure excellent tensile and impact strength and high flexibility. Specifically, by satisfying the weight ratio range, the multilayer antibacterial film has a tensile strength of 30 MPa or more measured based on ASTM D638, and an Izod impact strength measured based on ASTM D256 It may be 8.0 kg·cm/cm or more . On the other hand, when the weight ratio of random polypropylene/random terpolypropylene is less than 1, the impact strength is excellent, but the tensile strength may be less than 30 MPa. It may be less than 6 kg·cm/cm.
Meanwhile, the first layer and the third layer may include zinc oxide nanoparticles and silver nanoparticles to impart antibacterial properties, and as a specific example, the first layer and the third layer are based on the total weight of each layer. It may contain 98.5 to 99.8 wt% of a resin (random polypropylene and random terpolypropylene), 0.1 to 1.0 wt% of zinc oxide nanoparticles, and 0.1 to 0.5 wt% of silver nanoparticles. In this range, excellent antibacterial, antifungal, and antibacterial abilities can be secured, and the cost reduction effect is excellent, and the high transparency of the film cannot be compromised. On the other hand, when the content of zinc oxide nanoparticles is 1% by weight or more, the haze of the antibacterial film may increase to more than 10%, and when the content of silver nanoparticles is 0.5% by weight or more, the manufacturing cost of the antibacterial film increases, and silver is eluted. Problems can arise.
In particular, the surface of the zinc oxide nanoparticles and the silver nanoparticles may be modified to prevent agglomeration and improve dispersibility in the base resin, and as a specific example, they may be surface-modified with silicone oil.
Usually zinc oxide particles exist in the form of micron-sized secondary particles in which primary particles are aggregated. In this case, antibacterial activity is reduced due to aggregation, whereas the surface-modified zinc oxide nanoparticles according to the present invention are surface-treated with silicone oil. Accordingly, aggregation between primary particles can be suppressed, and through this, excellent antibacterial and antibacterial properties can be secured. As a specific example, the average particle diameter of the zinc oxide nanoparticles surface-modified with silicone oil may be 1 to 50 nm, more preferably 5 to 30 nm, and the shape is not particularly limited, but may be spherical.
In addition, the surface of the silver nanoparticles can also be modified with silicone oil, thereby preventing the particles from aggregating with each other to improve dispersibility, thereby securing excellent antibacterial and air-farming properties. As a specific example, the average particle diameter of the silver nanoparticles surface-modified with silicone oil may be 1 to 50 nm, more preferably 5 to 30 nm, and the shape is not particularly limited, but may be spherical.
As such, by using nano-sized antibacterial particles surface-modified with silicone oil, the multilayer antibacterial film can have high transparency. As a specific example, the multilayer antibacterial film according to an example of the present invention may have a haze measured according to ASTM D1003 of 10% or less, preferably 8% or less.
In this case, the silicone oil may have a number average molecular weight of 5,000 g/mol or less, more preferably 3,000 g/mol or less, and even more preferably 500 to 1,500 g/mol. In addition, the silicone oil may have a viscosity of 100 cSt or less at 25°C, more preferably a viscosity of 50 cSt or less at 25°C, and even more preferably a viscosity of 5 to 30 cSt at 25°C. In this way, the use of low-viscosity silicone oil can effectively modify the surface of zinc oxide nanoparticles by mixing well with zinc oxide nanoparticles and silicone oil. On the other hand, when the number average molecular weight of the silicone oil is too small and the viscosity is less than 5 cSt, the silicone oil does not bind well to the surface of the zinc oxide nanoparticles, so the surface may not be effectively modified. When is greater than 100 cSt, zinc oxide nanoparticles are not well dispersed and surface modification may not be performed well as they agglomerate.
As a specific example, the silicone oil may be any one or two or more selected from the group consisting of polydimethylsiloxane, polymethylhydrosiloxane and poly(dimethylsiloxane-methylhydrosiloxane) copolymer, and preferably poly(dimethyl It is better to use a siloxane-methylhydrosiloxane) copolymer to improve adhesion to zinc oxide nanoparticles.
As a more specific example, the poly(dimethylsiloxane-methylhydrosiloxane) copolymer may satisfy Formula 1 below.
[Formula 1]
<img file="KR20220004875A_D0001.tif" />
In Formula 1, m and n may be each independently an integer of 1 to 25, and more preferably, may be each independently an integer of 2 to 10. Within this range, the above-described viscosity range may be satisfied, and the surface modification of the zinc oxide nanoparticles may be effectively performed.
In this case, the silicone oil may be included in an amount of 0.5 to 20 parts by weight, preferably 1 to 10 parts by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of the zinc oxide nanoparticles or silver nanoparticles. In such a range, the surface modification effect is excellent.
In addition, the silver nanoparticles according to an embodiment of the present invention may be a nanocomposite in which silver is supported on porous inorganic particles. As described above, by adding the nanocomposite particles in the form of silver-supported porous non-woven particles to the antibacterial film, the elution of silver can be more effectively prevented, and the average particle diameter of the silver nanoparticles is controlled to be 10 nm or less, preferably 1 to 5 nm. It is possible to further improve the antibacterial performance.
In this case, the porous inorganic particles may be used without particular limitation as long as they have porosity, and as a specific example, any one or two or more selected from the group consisting of diatomaceous earth, zeolite, zirconium phosphate and activated carbon, etc. may be used. Such porous inorganic particles may be controlled to have an average particle size of 10 to 300 nm through wet grinding. As such, it is possible to prevent the high transparency of the antibacterial film from being lowered by having an average particle size of 100 to 300 nm.
In addition, it goes without saying that the nanocomposite particles may also be surface-modified with silicone oil.
In addition, in an example of the present invention, the second layer includes random polypropylene and random terpolypropylene, and as the random polypropylene and random terpolypropylene are the same as described above, redundant description will be omitted.
In addition to this, the first layer, the second layer and the third layer according to an example of the present invention may be further added with functional additives commonly used in the art in a range that does not interfere with the purpose of the present invention independently of each other, The functional additive may be an antifogging agent, an antioxidant, a slip agent, an antiblocking agent, or a mixture thereof, but is not limited thereto. The functional additive may be added in an amount of 0.01 to 5 parts by weight, respectively, based on 100 parts by weight of the base resin (random polypropylene and random terpolypropylene), but is not limited thereto.
On the other hand, the multilayer antibacterial film according to an example of the present invention may have a three-layer structure including the first layer, the second layer and the third layer as described above, and the thickness of the first layer and the third layer is Each is 10 to 25% of the total thickness of the multilayer antibacterial film, the thickness of the second layer may be 50 to 70% of the total thickness of the multilayer antibacterial film, more preferably the thickness of the first layer and the third layer are each multilayer 15 to 25% of the total thickness of the antibacterial film, and the thickness of the second layer may be 55 to 65% of the total thickness of the multilayer antibacterial film. In such a range, it is possible to provide a multilayer antibacterial film having high transparency and high tensile strength and impact strength.
In addition, the thickness of the multilayer antibacterial film according to an embodiment of the present invention may be adjusted differently depending on the use, specifically, for example, may be 30 to 200 μm, but is not necessarily limited thereto.
Furthermore, as shown in Figure 2, the multilayer antibacterial film according to an embodiment of the present invention may further include an adhesive layer and a release paper sequentially on the outer surface of the third layer in order to impart adhesiveness. As such, it has the advantage of being able to easily attach a multilayer antibacterial film to an object without using a separate attachment member (tape, etc.).
As a specific example, the adhesive layer is not particularly limited as long as it is commonly used in the art, but it is preferable to use an acrylic adhesive in order not to impair transparency. In addition, the thickness of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is not particularly limited, but may be, for example, 0.1 to 10 μm, preferably 1 to 5 μm. Sufficient adhesiveness can be provided in such a range.
In addition, another aspect of the present invention relates to a method for producing the above-described multi-layer antibacterial film.
Specifically, the method for producing the multilayer antibacterial film comprises: a) a composition for a first layer comprising random polypropylene, random terpolypropylene, zinc oxide nanoparticles and silver nanoparticles; a composition for a second layer comprising random polypropylene and random terpolypropylene; and a composition for a third layer comprising random polypropylene, random terpolypropylene, zinc oxide nanoparticles and silver nanoparticles; and b) preparing the composition for the first layer, the composition for the second layer, and the composition for the third layer. It includes the step of feeding each of three single screw extruders and simultaneously molding and extruding through a downward co-extrusion method.
First, a) a composition for a first layer comprising random polypropylene, random terpolypropylene, zinc oxide nanoparticles and silver nanoparticles; a composition for a second layer comprising random polypropylene and random terpolypropylene; and a composition for a third layer comprising random polypropylene, random terpolypropylene, zinc oxide nanoparticles and silver nanoparticles; at this time, each component and content are the same as described above is omitted.
Next, b) the composition for the first layer, the composition for the second layer, and the composition for the third layer are respectively supplied to three single screw extruders, and the step of forming and extruding the composition through a downward co-extrusion method can be performed at the same time, and this step is It can be carried out by a conventional method.
As a specific example, referring to Examples to be described later, the first layer composition, the second layer composition, and the third layer composition are respectively supplied to three uniaxial extruders to maintain the temperature of the compositions at 200 to 280 ° C. It can be co-extruded at a temperature of 180 to 240 ° C, and the co-extruded film can be cooled in water at room temperature to prepare a multi-layered antibacterial film having a three-layer structure.
Furthermore, as described above, as the multilayer antibacterial film according to an embodiment of the present invention may further include an adhesive layer and a release paper, the step of forming an adhesive layer and a release paper may be further performed.
The method of forming the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is not particularly limited, but the pressure-sensitive adhesive composition is applied on the third layer of the multilayer antibacterial film having the three-layer structure and dried by a dryer such as a heat oven to volatilize the solvent to form the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. can
Thereafter, a multilayer antibacterial film having an adhesive layer formed thereon can be prepared by attaching a release paper that can be easily separated from the adhesive layer.
Hereinafter, a multilayer antibacterial film for preventing cross-contamination and cross-infection according to the present invention and a manufacturing method thereof will be described in more detail through examples. However, the following examples are only a reference for describing the present invention in detail, and the present invention is not limited thereto, and may be implemented in various forms.
Also, unless otherwise defined, all technical and scientific terms have the same meaning as commonly understood by one of ordinary skill in the art to which this invention belongs. The terminology used herein is for the purpose of effectively describing particular embodiments only and is not intended to limit the invention. In addition, the unit of additives not specifically described in the specification may be weight %.

As described in Table 2 above, in Examples 1, 2, 5 and 6, the weight ratio of random polypropylene (r-PP) to random terpolypropylene (ter-PP) satisfies the range presented in the present invention, As zinc oxide nanoparticles and silver nanoparticles were added in an appropriate amount, they showed excellent antibacterial ability, and at the same time showed very good mechanical properties such as a tensile strength of 30 MPa or more and an Izod impact strength of 8 kg cm/cm or more, and the haze was also It showed very excellent transparency at less than 10%, and there was no silver dissolution problem.
On the other hand, in the case of Examples 3 and 4, the zinc oxide nanoparticles were added in an excessive amount, so that the transparency was lowered, and mechanical properties were inferior compared to Examples 1 and 2 due to the addition of an excessive amount of fine particles.
In the case of Examples 7 and 8, there was a problem in that silver nanoparticles were eluted to the outside after the film was prepared because the silver nanoparticles were added too much, and mechanical properties were inferior compared to Examples 5 and 6 due to the excessive addition of fine particles.
In addition, Examples 9 to 12 have different weight ratios of random polypropylene (r-PP) and random terpolypropylene (ter-PP), and in Examples 9 and 11, random terpolypropylene (ter-PP) Compared to random polypropylene (r-PP) compared to random polypropylene (r-PP) compared to random polypropylene (ter-PP) in the case of Examples 10 and 12, there was a problem that the tensile strength was slightly lowered as a relatively small amount was added. ), there was a problem that the Izod impact strength was somewhat lowered as relatively too much was added.
On the other hand, in Comparative Example 4, only zinc oxide nanoparticles were added as an antibacterial material, and the antibacterial ability against E. coli was rather poor. In Comparative Example 5, only silver nanoparticles were added. There was a problem in that the silver nanoparticles were eluted to the outside.
<b>[Example 13]</b>
According to the method of Example 1, a multi-layered antibacterial film having a three-layer structure was prepared.
Next, an acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive composition was applied to one surface of the multilayered antibacterial film having the three-layer structure and dried in a hot oven at 50° C. for 1 hour to form an adhesive layer. Thereafter, a release paper was attached to the adhesive layer to prepare a multilayer antibacterial film having an adhesive layer.
