A coating as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, wherein the coating includes a binder, a liquid component, a colorant, an additive, or a combination thereof.
  7. 42
A coating as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 34, wherein the coating composition forms a self-cleaning film.
  8. 43
A coating as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 34, wherein the coating forms a temporary film.
  9. 44
A coating as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 34, wherein the coating forms an architectural coating, an industrial coating, a specification coating, or a combination thereof.
  10. 50
A coating as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, wherein the coating is a multi-pack coating intended to be applied together to a surface.
  11. 56
A method of detoxification of a surface comprising the step of:contacting the surface with a coating as claimed in any one of the preceding claims.
  12. 65
A method as claimed in any one of claims 56 to 64, wherein the method further comprises the step of contacting the surface with a caustic agent;a decontaminating foam, a combination of baking condition heat and carbon dioxide, or a combination thereof.
  13. 66
A method as claimed in any one of claims 56 to 65, wherein the coating is 5 pm to 1500 pm thick upon the surface.
  14. 68
A method as claimed in any one of claims 56 to 67, wherein the coating is a multicoat system.
  15. 72
A method as claimed in any one of claims 68 to 71, wherein each layer of the multicoat system is coating is 15 pm to 150 pm thick.
  16. 74
A method as claimed in any one of claims 68 to 73, wherein the multicoat system includes a sealer, a water repellent, a primer, an undercoat, or a topcoat.
  17. 76
A method as claimed in any one of claims 56 to 75, wherein the coating undergoes film formation after contacting the surface.
  18. 82
A method as claimed in any one of claims 76 to 81, wherein the coating undergoes film formation by loss of part of a volatile component.
  19. 88
A liquid, liquefiable or mastic coating which is not convertible to a solid film during a period of time for which the coating is intended to be used on a surface, wherein the coating comprises a whole cell material containing one or more phosphoric triester hydrolases, and wherein the whole cell material comprises a cell wall or membrane which is permeabilised or disrupted such that the contained one or more phosphoric triester hydrolases are capable of exhibiting in the coating their enzymatic activity.
  20. 92
A coating as claimed in any one of claims 88-91, wherein at least one of the phosphoric triester hydrolases is an organophosphorous hydrolase.
  21. 93
A coating as claimed in any one of claims 88 to 91, wherein at least one of the phosphoric triester hydrolases comprises an aryldialkylphosphatase, a diisopropylfluorophosphatase, or a combination thereof.
  22. 94
A coating as claimed in any one of claims 88. to 91, wherein at least one of the phosphoric triester hydrolases is an organophosphorus acid anhydrolase.
