That is, it is first added to the opening or in the opening. raw rubber compound and then heat treated. Then, or patch area, for example the interior of the tire, It is then chemically treated. A crude patch is then placed and heat treated. This repair process is not only long-lasting and tedious, but it does require the use of heat, a mold usually for the tire, and more. * Thus, except for a chemically treatable patch, there can be no immediate or on-site fixing, nor can this or a 'repair' dealer,

PREFERRED CINEMA CASES
According to the embodiments of the present invention, a reinforced elastomeric article having an indentation is repaired by adhering the treated elastic patch. the notch or cavity is present in the object and extends at least up to the fused area so that some of the threads, i.e., at least about 25, are damaged, broken, or cut. * When the recess extends only to the area of threads, a cavity is formed in the object. * When the recess extends completely through the object, a hole is formed. In both cases, In the recess and in the interval between the elastomeric tire and the treated rubber patch, an amine-treated polymer or prepolymer is placed. The treatment is carried out at ambient temperature.
ELASTOMATIC SUBSTRATES L
According to the case of I, Item 10 has a hole 12 in the shape of a hole or otherwise and extends clearly through it. The item to be repaired, or Substrate, is a processed LX-CY-7 elastic or elastomeric bearing having unsaturated groups. The substrate usually has yarns in it. For example, it may be made from conjugated dienes with 4 to 12 carbon mouths such as butadiene, isoprene and others. It may also be made of natural rubber, i.e., from a substance obtained from various trees and plants growing in tropical or desert regions of the world. Such a natural tire generally has over 90 and usually over 95% content of Cis-I, 4-polyisoprene. The substrate may also be present. are various elastomeric copolymers such as those prepared from conjugated dienes with 4 to 12 carbon atoms as mentioned above, and vinyl 'substituted aromatic' compounds having from 8 to 15 carbon atoms. Examples of such vinyl substituted aromatic compounds are styrene, α-methylstyrene and others. An example of a specific copolymer is styrene-elastic.
Of course, other types of rubber compounds such as butyl rubber, neoprene, i.e., polychloroprene, etc., as well as mixtures of the above-mentioned tires, may be used.
PREPARATION OF ELASTOMERS * The manufacture of such elastomers referred to above is known. The object to be repaired is often in the form of a tire, especially a tire for the use of a six-way conveyor belt or other type of conveyor. Irrespective of the type or nature of the article in which the elastomeric as-treated form is present, the purification of the surface in which the amine-treated polymer is to be disposed of consists in the purification of the surface by physical treatment of the surface, example, by rubbing or cutting and removing part of the surface. Another method is to use any standard organic solvent to remove or remove dirt and residues. usual solvents are either acetone or ethyl acetate, such as the drawing or the ethyl acetate. Usually cleaned includes the hole 2, the patch adjacent area 20 as well as the patch. Thus, the hole may be difficult to clean by natural means, can be cleaned using a solvent while the underside can be scrubbed. To secure or remove any Residue or scrub area may be scrubbed with a solvent. V?

-8 INSTRUMENTS
On the cleaned surfaces A coating of various process agents 30 found to improve adhesion between the substrate and the amine-treated polymer or prepolymer 40 is applied. Halonimides and combinations thereof. Examples of various desired N-halohydantoins are either I, 3-dichloro-5,5-dimethylhydantoin, or I, 3-dibromo-5,5-dimethylhydantoin, or 1,3-Dichloro-5-methyl-5-isobutyldanthine and or 1,3-dichloro-5-methyl-5-hexyldanthine. and the various chloro-substituted triazinotriones, commonly known as mono-, and trichloroisocyanuric acids. A preferred treatment composition for use in the practice of the present invention is the various mono- di- or trichloroisocyanuric acids, or combinations thereof. Trichloro-cyanoic acid is particularly preferred.
The Means of Processing are usually in solid form. They are soluble in solvents such as acetone and others and thus can be attacked in liquid form. 'The attack of the processing agents is generally carried out at ambient temperature.' The attack can be carried out in any convenient manner such as by brushing, spraying, etc. The amount to be applied is such as to coat either the surface of the elastic substrate. Preferably, two or more coatings of the surfactant or adhesive are used to secure or overlap all of the pad elastic surface.
COMPONENTS OF COMPONENTS OF PROCEDURE * The usual amount of process medium in a suitable solvent, for example ethyl acetate or acetone, is generally from about 0.1 to about 10% by weight of the solution, and preferably about 0.5% by weight of about 5% by weight of solution. , Higher or lower concentrations can be used. This solvent system is dried in a matter of minutes so that the amine-treated polymer or prepolymer can be attached. an elastic surface allowing the amino processing system-

COMMON URXHATANIC POLYMER OR PROPOLYMER
Urethane polymers or prepolymers, i.e., those comprising isocyanate groups, are generally formed by first reacting a polyether polyol or a polyester polyol with a molar excess of a diisocyanate compound, thereby forming a prepolymer with unsaturated isocyanate groups approximately 3000 at a time. Examples of such polymers are cited in U.S. Patent 2620516, 2777831, 2843568, 2866774, 290036; 2929800, 2948691, 2948707 and III4735 which are incorporated herein fully by reference. Typical specific examples of such polyurethanes are ADIPRENE L-367, a polytetrafluoroethylene glycol containing about 6.4 g of isocyanate 'extreme' L-42, a polytetrafluoroethylene glycol containing about 2.8 ucfiiL- isocyanate end groups
<img file="GR81815B_D0010.tif" />
Particularly by repairing or applying the amine-treated polymer to the patch area, i.e., the area between patch 20 and treated substrate II, which is often best achieved by using two different types of urethane. b. extreme isocyanate groups such as ADIPRENE Ir-367 can be mixed with a low urethane-containing urethane. isocyanate end groups such as ADIPRENE L-42. The amount of one urethane to the other may range from about I to about 99% and preferably from about 30 to about 70% by weight.
AMINICA MEDICAL PRODUCTS
To the amine processed prepolymer or polymer is added ordinary amine treatment agent, to those skilled in the art. In general, any conventional or known amine treatment medium can be used and thus, only a few specific examples will be given. Thus, the treatment medium may be MOCA, i.e., 4.4.g-methylene bis (2-chloraniline) or, preferably a 4,4 * -methylenine and a complex of salt, or a racemic complex of 2,3-di- (4-aminophenyl) butane and a salt, as reported in US 3755261, VANGULICK, fully incorporated herein by reference. The latter two complexes are preferred. The methods for the preparation of the complexes are set forth in U.S. Patent 3755261. * The salt preferred for use with 4,4'-methylenedieniline is sodium chloride or lithium chloride. Particularly preferred are complexes or salts derived from 4,4'-methylenedieniline because of their ease of use. another class of amino acids that can be used are the various Versamides, i.e., the polyamines and dibasic acid condensation products obtained when polymerizing some unsaturated fatty acids, prepared by HENKEL CHEMICAL COMPANY.
WEIGHT EQUAL WEIGHT EQUIPMENT
The equivalent weight of the amine treatment agent used in relation to the amine processed prepolymer or polymer, including the amine treatment agent, generally ranges from about 85 to 115% and preferably from about 95 to 105%.
Often, to facilitate the process, the treatment medium, especially an amine treatment such as the complex of 4,4G.-methylpyridine aniline and salt salt, is used with a plasticizer. \} Ah? n.4 diacetyl phthalate in weight ratio. 50%, or FLEXOL 4-4 (3-0-ethylene glycdyl bis (2-ethylhexanoate) prepared by UNION,
-IICARBIDE CORPORATION at 50% by weight * The amount of plasticizer can range from about 20% to about 60% by weight.
A ^ EXTENDED ^ _CROPPING_WEB-SOLVENT
The process agent is blended with the prepolymer or polymers in various mixers such as dough mixers, high speed impellers, blade mixers and others. When mixed with the polar solvent, a liquid mixture results. 'However, even if a solid treatment medium is used, when added to the prepolymer or polymer, and in the solvent system, a hydroxy system is obtained even though the treatment medium (e.g., amine) may be in the form of a dispersion. Thus, even though the system may contain solids, the solids are in the form of a dispersion so thatclose (^ a liquid system is produced.
SOLUTION_SOLUTION ^ _ SOLVENTS
The working medium and the aminocarbons; polymers or prepolymers form the workable polymeric system which is mixed with a polar solvent so that a liquid system is obtained which is treated at ambient or room temperature, at 50 ° C. Frequently or ambient temperature should range from about 5 ° C to about 35 ° C or about 40 ° C. Polar solvents that can be used, especially with the amine working medium and the amine polymers or prepolymers are, for example, texas disclosed in U.S. Patent No. 3888831, K0G0N, which are fully incorporated herein by reference. Generally, the amount of solvent used per 100 wt. processable prepolymer or polymer ranges from about 2 to about 40, preferably from about 2 to about 20, and more preferably from about 5 to about 15 parts by weight. Particular examples of solvents preferred are dimethylformamide, tetrahydrofuran, or tetrahydrofuran; , ethyl acetate, nitromethane, nitroethane, nitropropane, or methyl ethyl ketone and or acetone. Most preferred are either methyl ethyl ketone and or acetone. * The amount of treatment medium, on the basis of said polymer or prepolymer, ranges from about 0.85 to about 1.15 equivalents.
PATTERN CONSTRUCTION
<img file="GR81815B_D0011.tif" />
Looking at patch 20, this can be anyone;
-12 undesirable size if it is larger in area than the hole. Usually, the patching surface is at least twice that of the hole. In general, one skilled in the art of patch construction and / or patch attack, the appropriate patch size is known. The patch is made of rubber and is generally fully machined. * If the pre-fabricated material is often pre-fabricated or at least 80% by weight natural tire, any suitable type of processed tire may be used. Thus, the patch may be manufactured from, in particular, conjugated diene with 4 to 12 carbon atoms, copolymers manufactured from conjugated diene with carbon atoms of 4 to 12 carbon atoms. with 8 to 15 carbon atoms, for example butadiene-styrene rubber, and more. In essence, the patch may be made of the same type of tire as the substrate. Often, the patch has a cushioning layer to reduce the stresses that develop between the skeleton and the patch.
Since, in the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the substrate has yarns within it, preferably the patch must also have such yarns. If the number of threads may vary from * to a very small number, or strength patches of thread are generally at least equal to the strength of the damaged threads present on the substrate prior to injury.In particular, when about 25 to 50% of the threads are damaged, separated, broken, etc., or patch strength of the yarn is approximately equal to the strength of the said yarn before they are fastened, etc. * However, if about 50 to 100% of the yarn has been damaged, separated, or otherwise damaged, or the resistance of the threads to the patch is equal to the strength of all the threads in the article before any injury. * If the number of damaged threads in the object is less than about 25%, then, or Resistance of the remaining yarn is usually sufficient to avoid the need for a reinforced patch. The yarns in the patch may be made of polyester, nylon, steel, rayon and more, preferably nylon. It was found that according to this invention. penetrating treated rubber substrate can be repaired to a diameter of up to about eight inches.
In general, any resilient object having a transverse truss can usually be repaired with the present invention.
<img file="GR81815B_D0012.tif" />
-13 Examples are conveyor belts, tires, special tires for the use of extras such as those used for loaders, mining machines and more.
The hint shows a repaired hole-shaped recessed object. An ammonium-treated polymer or prepolymer, such as a urethane-treated polymer 40, for example, fills the hole 30 and also forms a solid. hole 12 of the substrate 10, the patch 20, and the adjacent area of the article. Aminobutyred urethane extends through the hole and into the patch area, i.e. In the area between the patch or between the patch and the substrate. In this region, a strong bond is also formed so that the patch strengthens the substrate. When the elastic object is a tire, usually the patch area is mechanically rubbed sufficiently to remove any dirt from the surface. The inner lining must be rubbed at least in some cases to remove the gum layer in order to obtain even a clean surface. one or two folds of yarn to secure or clean the surface. The reinforcing patch 20 may contain a number of threads, It is generally approximately equal to the strength of a large number of yarns in the tire being repaired. The patch is coated with the treatment medium and then coated with an amino-processing polymer or prepolymer. The patch is then positioned above the hole area. The patch is also held in place by inflating a tube located on the tire. The polymer or prepolymer is then poured into the hole and then held in place through the hole. so that the hole is in the highest vertical position.Of course, The top of the hole is then sanded and the amine-treated polymer in the patch area and in the hole. promotes the internal process of polymer. In one variant of this process, The amine polymer is applied to the patch area and then the patch is applied. The patch is positioned and the polymer is left to assume an internal process. Then the amine polymer is then separated and added separately.

day-to-day methods common on site.
In the Model of Icon 2, or the recess is in the form of a cavity where some threads of the reinforced article have been destroyed, separated, etc. Usually, at least 25% of the threads have been broken, destroyed, etc., and the object is used. It can either be filled or cavity filled or the patch applied first. In cavity repair 112, the processing means 130 is applied to all of its surfaces.Then, the cavity is filled with the amine-treated polymer 140, up to the level of the substrate generally. Of course, in this work, the cavity is positioned at the highest vertical position of the article. " or the polymer process. The process takes place at ambient temperature.
* The patch area is prepared as before by cleansing and rubbing it up to the gum layer and even to the strands of the yarns. The treatment means 130 is coated on the patch area on the substrate 110 as well. The amine refined polymer or prepolymer 140 is then applied to the treated side of the patch, while the patch is then applied to the treated portion of Substrate II.The ends of the patch can be attached to the Substrate or held in place by a tube located in the tire. The number of threads is previously provided. , if less than 25% of the yarn is damaged, or using the yarn patch in it is optional. * About 25 to 50% of the yarn is damaged, Split, etc., Patch strength of the threads is at least equal to the strength of such threads before being destroyed. When damaged, injured, broken, etc., about 50% or more of the threads, or strength of the threads The patch is equal to the resistance of any number of threads on the Substrate before any damage to them. * The repair is then carried out at ambient temperature.
When forming the amine polymer system, the amine polymer or prepolymer is generally mixed with the polar solvent and the latter is then added to the medium
During the process, it is formed between the prepolymer or polymer system and the processed elastomeric substrate, Effective and strong bonding. Since the present invention is carried out at ambient temperature, or repairing large and deleterious objects, conveyor belts and the like, can be made on the spot.In other words, The only additional equipment that may be required is a rubber saber, if sandbag can be used. In such a case, the repair can be done at a local tire repair shop. As the process is carried out at ambient temperature, no steam chambers or other vulcanizable roof repair components are required. This, of course, results in energy savings.
It should be appreciated that various ordinary additives in ordinary amounts can be added to the Amine process medium and to the prepolymer system such as pigments, softeners, fillers, antioxidants, plasticizers and more.
The invention will be better understood by reference to the following Representative Examples.
EXAMPLE I
Damaged tire for off-road use, with injury to inner lining, repaired as follows.
The damaged area was cleaned by removing the damaged part and the various residues. * The repair area was then rubbed up to grade # 3 or # 4; it was also scrubbed or coated. In most cases, the interior coat should at least be removed. In some cases, Removal of one or two folds of the body was necessary for the surface of the laminate to be fresh and for the adhesion of the reinforced patch. Apply a few layers of a solution of% trichloro-triazinotrione to ethyl acetate following the elution procedure. Then it was again allowed to dry carefully. Preferably, The work was completed by mixing an amount of polyurethane mixture consisting of the following two components.

The well blended polyurethane was then coated on a reinforcing patch which was completely vulcanized and did not contain an un vulcanized gum layer. patch, The grooved part of the inner lining was also coated. The polyurethane was allowed to gel into a non-fluid material prior to placing the patch on the inner lining. The patch was placed in its place and then held in place on the tireAfter the patch is secured, the tire was rotated 180 ° so that the hole was on top of the tire. An additional amount of polyurethane was poured into the hole until it was completely filled. The surface was covered with a strip to hold the wet material in place. keep the acetone in the composition long enough to completely vulcanize the system. After staying for 24 hours at ambient temperature, the film was removed from the hole and the sabrella and the film was removed from the inside lining of the tire. * the tire was ready to be re-used.
* The above procedure was performed on a 37.25 x 35 tire. The size of the wound was 4 inches in diameter on the inside and 1/2 inch in diameter on the outside. The trauma was in the area of the rim. RCCO patch (ROCSON, INC., COPLEY, OH) was used. The patch was completely vulcanized. 'Tire prepared', re-mounted in place for use. a slight air leak occurs.

According to other variants of the present invention, the elastomeric article having a deformation is fully filled with an Aminable polymer or prepolymer. * If the deformation is a cut, the Aminable polymer or prepolymer comprises an elastomeric or an elastic filler. hole, used elastomeric patch is used in conjunction with the repairing material and is mounted on this hole. See Figures 3 4 and 5; Amine-treated polymer or prepolymer in the area
-17 of the recess must have a rubber filler. * However, such a polymer or prepolymer when used in the patch area shall not have such a filler. 'However, the curing of the ammonium polymer.
Generally, the object to be repaired has filaments or reinforcements. * When the object is recessed, i.e., a dome, such recess extends at least 25% into the reinforcement region such that some of the filaments are broken, separated, damaged, etc. When the recess extends only to the thread region, a cavity is formed in the object. * When the recess extends completely through the thread, a hole is formed.
By examining a hole-in-elastomeric article, as shown in Figure 3, the article is generally indicated by the number 100. The article or substrate may be an elastomer of the type discussed above. The hole 120 extends completely through the object. Such a repair object, or Substrate, is a vulcanized rubber or elastomer having unsaturated groups. The article usually has yarns 140. In the embodiment of Figure 4, a vulcanized rubber object with an unsaturated area of 11 is indicated by unsaturated groups. carries with it a treatment means 1300. The cut is substantially filled with said amine refined polymer or prepolymer. In the embodiment of Figure 5, or cavity 2120 refers to the 'reinforced portion of the Object, generally indicated by the number 2000. The Object 2000 also has unsaturated groups. * Regardless of the nature of the aperture, the Substrate may be any ordinary elastomer or rubber known to those skilled in the art and as set forth above.
The object, such as a tire, is purified as outlined above, which is fully incorporated herein by reference, i.e., by natural treatment, use of organic solvents and other processes.
On the cleaned Surfaces is deposited a layer of various processing agents 30, 130 or 230 foundt* - improve adhesion between the Substrate and the Rubber Amino-processed polymer or prepolymer 40, 140 or 240, respectively.
Suitable process agents include the various N-18 halides, the various N-halides, the various N-halides, and combinations thereof. Examples of such process agents are also set forth above and therefore will not be repeated in practice. mode and at ambient temperature, as set forth above.

, with a preferred amount as set forth above.
As with the various amine refined polymers or prepolymers, these are the same as set out above. Similarly, the amine curing agents have been set forth as having both an equivalent weight as well as a reducing temperature or a plasticizer. environment for vulcanization has also been described. Also a quantity of solvent.
An important aspect of the present invention relates to the use of a resilient filler 500 in a non-processable polymer or prepolymer for the repair of trough 120. polymer or prepolymer. In addition, the cut 1120 and cavity 2120 have a rubber filler on the amine processable polymer or prepolymer. The filler 500, 1500 or 2500 is preferably a vulcanized rubber and isπ <Particularly, the size of the particles may range from about 10 millimeters to about 0.01 millimeters (powder size) and preferably from about 1.0 millimeters to about 0.01 millimeters (milliliter size). Generally, any type of synthetic tire as a split filler may be used if it is unsaturated 'tire. A class of suitable tire compounds is the various types of tire such as those used in the article or Substrate 100 or 1000. That is, conjugated dienes with 4 to 12 carbon atoms, natural rubber, usually containing in excess of 90 to 95% Cis-I, 4-polyisoprene, copolymers prepared from dienes with 4 to 12 carbon atoms and vinyl carbonates with 8 to 15 carbon atoms, for example, styrene-butadiene tire, various types of tire diffraction, polychloroprene, etc. If saturated tires can also be used, The unsaturated ones give better adhesion and thus are preferred.
* The source of the vulcanized tire may be, as is commonly the case, common ground such as tire scraps, tire scraps,
-Threaded tire yarns, etc..The tire source may also be in the form of a powder such as that obtained by kneading a tire.It is obvious that such sources are very economical and generally include special tires such as polybutadiene, natural rubber. , styrene-butadiene rubber, synthetic polyisoprene, and combinations thereof.
The amount of tire used in the amino-processed polymer or prepolymer ranges from about 10 to about 75 wt%, preferably from about 40 to about 50 wt%, more preferably about 43% wt. b. on the total amount of polymer and rubber particles. In general, the addition of rubber particles to the amine processable polymer or prepolymer renders such a polymer softer as it also reduces its polymers 24 or 0000. contains resilient particles in hole 120, cut 1120, or cavity 2120, respectively, it may thus vary depending on the type of tire used as well as the amount thereof. Depending on the repaired article, the desired hardness of the vulcanized blend polymer-prepolymer or prepolymer blend will vary. It is preferred that the hardness of the blend is generally 100 or more. , or its hardness generally ranges from about 40 to about 90 ° of the ROCKWELL SHORE A hardness scale, and preferably from about 60 to about 70.'0 Low tensile coefficient (pounds / square inch) generally ranges from about 25 to about 500, and preferably from about 50 to about 75. not only such a mixture of amine-refined rubber particles polymer or prepolymer exhibits improved performance in relation to a repaired article, but also reduces the cost of holes for filling the hole.
The vulcanized rubber particles can be added to the amine processed prepolymer or polymeric at any stage and blended using any ordinary mixing tool such as a spatula, a mixer, etc.
* The patch construction is as set out above and fully incorporated by reference. Thus, the patch can carry any number of threads etc.
In general, any resilient article having a cut, cavity or puncture hole can usually be repaired with the present invention. Specific examples include tires, 4
-20 Mainly Off-road burners such as those used for loaders, trawlers, etc. 'Repaired items are shown in the drawings.' Figure 3 is mounted on a tire and repaired using a pad 200. they look. * Figure 4 refers to an aperture in the form of a cut like a tire. The aperture may be in the area of the foot or the wall.
* When the elastic object is tire-deformed or a hole, such as in Figure 3, usually the patch area is rubbed sufficiently to clean or surface. bonding gum to obtain a fresh surface. Periodically, it is preferred to remove one or both filaments folds to secure the wet surface. The reinforcement patch 200 can carry many strings (which don't appear), The patch is coated with a processing agent 300 and then covered with a non-refinable polymer or prepolymer 400 which has no elastic filler. The patch is also held in place by inflating the inside of the tire with a vulcanized syringe. With the tire hole located at the top of the tire, the amine-treated polymer or prepolymer with an elastic filler 500 in it is poured into the hole until it is filled. Of course, the hole has previously been coated with the treatment means 300. The top of the hole is then carved out The patch and hole are allowed to vulcanize at ambient temperature. The etching of the hole region retains the polar solvent, such as acetone, which promotes the vulcanization of the polymer. and the polymer is left to be vulcanized. Then, the amine-treated polymer 400 with fully 500 is added separately to the hole to fill the hole and then carved. Then the bulk material of the hole is vulcanized separately at ambient temperature.
* Concerning the model of min. 4., the object is rotated 1000 until the cut is found at the top and then filled
The aminable polymer 1400 with the filler fillers 1500 is preferably covered with tape and allowed to vulcanize at ambient temperature.
Looking at the embodiment of Fig. 5, it is similar to Fig. 3 in that the recess, in the form of a cavity, is filled in with a patch. In particular, about 25 to about 50% of the yarn 2140 is separated, broken or otherwise damaged, or their durability
<img file="GR81815B_D0015.tif" />
damaged, separated, or broken yarns are about 50 to 100%, or the actual yarn strength of the patch is approximately equal to
<img file="GR81815B_D0016.tif" />
An object carrying a cavity, as in Fig. 5, is generally made in the same manner as in dPi(Example of the image 5. That is, the object 2000 is scrubbed or otherwise cleaned to expose one or two strands. The patch area below the cavity 2120 is covered with a processing means 2300 such as the patch 2200. Then, an aminable polymer or prepolymer is deposited on the patch and the patch is then deposited on the article and assembled in place. The size of the patch is the same as mentioned above. As in the embodiment of Fig. 3, The object is then rotated until the cavity is topped, and then the amine-treated polymer with filler 2500 is brought into the cavity or previously coated with a treatment 2300. The cavity material is then cut into pieces. patch material. Alternatively, the patch may be attacked and vulcanized separately and the same can be done for the amine-treated polymer or prepolymer which is in a blend with a rubber filler in the cavity. * As mentioned above, 50% was damaged, the yarn tolerance at patch 2200 is approximately equal to the original yarn strength of the broken yarn. However, when 50% or more of the yarn is broken, or the strength of the patch threads is substantially equal to or greater than the actual strength of the thread 2140 target 2000.
The end result is a repaired item that is more easily repaired, with equivalent or better durability and durability than an item repaired by other usual methods performed on site. d-
So we have improved performance.
When forming the amino-polymeric polymer system, the amino-polymer or prepolymer is generally mixed with the polar solvent and then the last vulcanizing agent is added. * As mentioned above, elastomers can be used as described above. curing, between the prepolymergg or polymeric system with the treated elastomeric cadaver, and the previously vulcanized particles, a strong and effective bond is created. ' Since the present invention relates to ambient temperature, the repair of large and non-moving objects such as laminates for use outside the throat etc. can be done locally. In other words, can repair be done? The only accessory that may be required is a rubber sambrella, even if a sandbag can be used. In such a case, or repair can be done at a local tire shop. Vulcanizing is done at ambient temperature, no steam boilers are required, nor any other tire repair components that can be vulcanized. This, of course, results in energy savings.
Various standard additives can also be added to the amine curing agent and prepolymer system in standard amounts, such as pigments, softeners, fillers, antioxidants, plasticizers and more.
This aspect of the invention will be better understood by reference to the following representative examples.

-25 * This invention of the invention can be considered with reference to the pictures. * It is readily apparent that the foregoing features in each are the same except that indentation 4120 in the min. 7 does not extend fully through the Substrate. For simplicity's sake, please refer to Min. 6 must refer to Fig. 7, except for the dimensions of the recess, as above. * As for Fig. 6, the object is generally indicated by 4IC, including a substrate 413 bearing * a number of reinforcing threads or straps. 414, and a recess.
Substrate 413 can be any conventional rolling stock;
<img file="GR81815B_D0019.tif" />
For example, it may be prepared from various dienes, vinyl-substituted aromatic compounds, etc., as set forth above, which is fully incorporated by reference to the preparation of such elastomers.
The next step is to fill with an amount of unvulcanized rubber gum 422 of recess 412, preferably from the outer surface or Substrate to the surface of the Substrate located opposite to where the patch 420 is mounted. using conventional means such as a pair of heated plates, known as spotters, one on the outer surface 424 and the other on the inner surface of the substrate.
The types of rubber gum that can be used are well known to those skilled in the art, usually consisting of natural rubber compounds or tire mixes, and usually contain other components such as sulfur, carbon, etc. use a variety of commercially available repair gums that are commercially available. 'Alternatively, one skilled in the art can readily recommend a suitable rubber gum recipe without excessive experimentation.
Once the rubber gum has been vulcanized in place, the inner side is rubbed around the now-filled hole and treated with a 416 treatment means on the Substrate and the vulcanized surfaces of the rubber gasket. above.'It is then applied to the inner surface, an aminable polymer 418 having first been allowed to thicken or partially coagulate ', thereby resulting in an increase in viscosity of up to several thousand CENTIPOISE. This results in the creation of a toothpaste product that helps to form the polymer in its position while the patch is positioned.
-26The patch, after being rubbed and removed by a processing medium 4-6, is then applied to the polymer surface. It is then temporarily coated as if it had a film and held in some form by any applied pressure, Leave it to rest for about 24 hours. The end result is a repaired item with much better durability and durability than another one that has been repaired. by methods known so far.
In Example 7, the recess 4120 in the 4ICC object is in the form of a cavity where some threads 4140 of the reinforced object are destroyed, separated, etc. Usually at least 25% of the threads are broken or damaged and the object is repaired using .It can either be cavity filled, or the patch placed first.With cavity repair 4120, The cavity is then filled with an elastic band © 4220, up to generally the substrate 4150. Of course, in this work, the cavity is brought to the upper vertical point of the article.
The area to be patched is prepared as before by cleaning and rubbing, where, in each Embodiment, the gum layer or yarn layer may appear. On the patch area of the Substrate 4150 as well as the side The patch 4200 is treated with a treatment layer 4160. The amine-treated polymer or prepolymer 4180 is then applied to the treated side of the patch, while the patch is applied in turn to the processed portion of Substrate 4150. At the ends of the patch a tape may be inserted or held in place by a sambrella inflated in the tire. The number of threads is the same. That is, if less than 25% of the yarns are damaged, or the use of yarn patch is optional because a solid tire patch provides sufficient reinforcement. If they are damaged, separated, etc. by about 25 to 50% of the yarns, the yarn attachment to the patch is at least equal. strength of these threads before being destroyed, * When 50 or more perches are damaged on each of the threads, or the strength of the patch threads is equal to the strength of the total number of threads on the substrate before deterioration. The repair material is vulcanized at ambient temperature.
0 type of processing agents suitable for use,
-27xaC the usual amounts of these are consistent with those set forth above and are fully incorporated by reference. Similarly, the location of the various amine-processing polymers or prepolymers, common urethane polymers or prepolymer amines The above portion of the specification also extends to the mixing of curing means, i.e., polar solvents as well as the amount of solvents. So, since the bottom of the rubber gum issay^ Treatment with TS processing medium, TS aminokatergasimo polymer or prepolymer is mixed with an appropriate amount of amine vulcanizing agent and is added to a polar dialytis.Td average processing affixed Also fd patch TS which locates fd aminokatergasimo polymer stroma.Td dlon The patch Aminokatergasimo polymeric layer is vulcanized after at ambient temperature.
Looking at patch 420, we can observe that it can be of any size, as long as it is larger than the area of the hole that it seals. The patch is known to the specialist in the manufacture and / or installation of the patch. The patch is made of rubber and is generally fully vulcanized. If preferred the vulcanized natural tire or a composition containing at least 80% by weight. natural rubber, any standard type of vulcanised rubber compound may be used. Thus, the patch may be made of conjugated diene with 4 to 12 carbon atoms, copolymer of conjugated diene with 8 to 12 carbon atoms. 15 carbon atoms, for example styrenebutadiene tire, and others.In essence, the patch must be made of the same type of tire as the tire.PiifPohma· Often, the patch has a cushioning layer to relieve the stresses created between the tire frame and the patch.
Because the patch should provide the repaired object with structural reinforcement, it generally carries yarns in the same way as the object. * Although the number of threads may vary from very small to very large, as above, they are generally , yeah

-28 In the invention, large recesses can be repaired as long as about 8 inches in diameter.
During the preparation of the amine polymer system, the amine polymer or prepolymer is generally mixed with the polar solvent and then with the curing agent. During the vulcanization, it is formed between it. 2 of the polymeric system and of the treated elastomeric substrate a strong and effective bond.
