DESCRIPTION
p00011Spring cultivator tooth
p00012The present invention relates to a cultivator tooth according to the general concept of claim 1. A cultivator tooth of this type is known from document AU 458148. The invention further relates to a cultivator with several cultivator teeth of this type. type.
p00013Cultivators are used in agriculture to mull and rot soils, particularly for flat stubble elevation. They usually have a base frame that can be attached to a tractor vehicle, being guided by means of front support wheels and adjustable height rotary rollers at the rear. Several cultivator teeth are fixed in the base frame, which are normally arranged in several rows in a mutually displaced manner. In cultivators known so far, cultivator teeth in many cases are attached to the base frame by means of spiral springs. However, this type of cultivator teeth can deviate laterally and with a corresponding tensile strength they deviate relatively quickly upwards, resulting in irregular soil treatment.
p00014The object of the invention is to create a cultivator tooth and a cultivator with several cultivator teeth of this type, which allow the soil to be worked more precisely and more evenly.
p00015This objective is achieved through a cultivator tooth with the characteristics of claim 1 and through a cultivator with the characteristics of claim 7. Appropriate embodiments and advantageous developments of the invention are mentioned in the dependent claims.
p00016In the cultivator tooth according to the present invention, the spring loaded and pivotally arranged cultivator handle by means of a fastener on a cultivator support can pivot about a transverse axis fixed in the fastener, said axis being located transverse located above the support and in the direction of traction of the cultivator in front of the tip of a grating blade arranged at the lower end of the cultivator handle. By means of a joint of this type, a depth adjustment according to the tensile strength is obtained, without thereby significantly modifying the working position of the grating blade. Due to the suspension that dampens strong shocks and load spikes, thin goose leg grilles can also be used that maintain their cutting quality for longer and thus require less traction force. Due to the damping and the position of the upper pivot point, an exact depth adjustment is obtained which until now had not been possible to achieve with conventional cultivator teeth. The cultivator handle is rotatably mounted on the transverse axis through a bushing fixed at its upper end. As a spring, a laminated spring is preferably used, which is arranged between the fastener and a guide. In this way a good lateral guide of the cultivator handle is obtained. Due to the upper support and the lower guide attached to the leaf spring, the cultivator handle cannot be diverted to one side, so that a uniform soil treatment is ensured, without breaking errors. The guide comprises two lateral pieces separated from each other, among which the cultivator handle is guided laterally. As a protection against overload, a cover plate is fixed on the side pieces by means of shearing screws, whereby damage to the housing of the cultivator teeth or the cultivator frame can be prevented.
p00017Other features and advantages of the invention result from the following description of a preferred embodiment, with reference to the drawings, in which:
p00018Figure 1 shows a spring cultivator tooth in a side view, and
p00019Figure 2 shows the cultivator tooth of Figure 1 in a rear view.
p00020The cultivator tooth shown in Figures 1 and 2 comprises a curved cultivator frame 1, which in its upper region can be pivoted about a transverse axis 2 and is fixed to a fastener 4 loaded by a spring 3 configured as a laminated spring . The fastener 4 comprises a U-shaped upper clamping piece 5, which through a core 6 and two angular fixing clamps 8 and 9, connectable with each other by screws 7, is obliquely held down to a support 10 configured as cross support of a cultivator. The transverse axis 2 is formed by a screw that extends through holes aligned with each other in the two lateral branches of the U-shaped clamping piece 5. A bushing 11 is mounted on the transverse axis 2 configured as a screw, which in turn is welded to the upper end of the cultivator handle 1, or which is fixedly attached thereto in some other appropriate manner. At the lower end of the cultivator handle an interchangeable blade 12 is fixed interchangeably by means of screws 13.
p00021As derived from Figure 1, the laminated spring 3 comprises several overlapping leaf springs 14, which in the upper region are fixed by screws 15 to the lower transverse core 16 of the U-shaped clamping piece
p000225. The lower part of the lower leaf spring 14 is connected with the cultivator handle 1 through a guide 17. Due to the action of the laminated spring 3, in case of an upward deflection, the cultivator tooth is again taken to the lower initial position represented in accordance with figure 2. The guide 17 is formed by

p00026two lateral pieces separated from each other 18, among which the handle of the cultivator 1 is guided laterally supported. On the two side pieces 18 an upper cover plate 19 is fastened by means of shear screws 20. The cover plate 19 fixed by means of shear screws 20 represents an overload protection in case the tensile strength, for example due to an obstacle,
p000275 exceed the allowable value.
p00028In Figure 1 it can be seen that the transverse axis 2 above the support 10 and in the direction of cultivator traction is located in front of the tip 21 of a grating blade 12 arranged at the lower end of the cultivator handle 1. By By means of such a joint, a depth adjustment according to the respective tensile strength is obtained, without thereby substantially modifying the working position of the grating blade. In a particularly advantageous embodiment for stubble elevation, the transverse axis is fixed approximately 25 cm in front of the tip 21 of the grating sheet 12 at a height of about 1 m. In Figure 1 it can also be seen that the transverse axis 2 and therefore the axis of rotation of the cultivator handle 1 is located in front of the central axis 22 of the support 10 and therefore is moved forward in front of the support 10
p00029fifteen in the traction direction of the cultivator.
