DESCRIPTION
Folding presentation structure.
Technical field
The present invention relates generally to a collapsible display structure and more particularly to a display structure having a base unit that can be placed, attached and / or rested against a support surface, a sheet, a banner, a panel, a screen or the like, which can be rolled or unrolled, and on which an image and / or text appears, and also with a support to hold and retain the sheet, banner, panel or screen.
In display structures of the type with which the present invention relates, it is known to arrange a rod or the like at the upper edge of the sheet, said rod being designed to be able to cooperate firmly, but in an easily removable manner, with a part of the upper end of said support.
The term "sheet" used hereinafter refers mainly to a surface that shows an image and / or a text applied on a fabric, a sheet of paper or other equivalent backing, the sheet material being so flexible and foldable that it can be rolled on a rod such as a roller blind or the like (with a diameter of 20 mm or more) and can be unwound without the winding causing annoying deformation when the sheet is unrolled. In the present patent application, the term "sheet" should be interpreted as meaning all kinds of devices of this class, including devices also known as banners, panels, screens, etc.
Previous technique
Display structures of the type described above are already known in several different embodiments, an example of such a display configuration being illustrated and described in more detail with reference to Figures 1-4 of the present application.
Such a display structure has a base unit within which a sheet showing an image or a text, which can be rolled up and unrolled, is rolled up like a roller blind by means of a winding device, and where the sheet can be unwound from the base unit, and where a rod is arranged on the upper edge of the sheet and which can be attached to the top of the holder against the force of the winding device on the base unit, keeping the sheet taut by its own weight and the spring force of the winding device.
The display structure described above is marketed by Expand International AB, Nacka, Sweden under the trade name "Quick Screen".
Now looking at the significant properties of the present invention, it should also be mentioned that it is already known to apply relatively thick magnetic strips, on the side-facing edge portions, of one or more sheets, so that the sheets positioned contiguously with each other they may cooperate edge-to-edge, without or substantially no obvious joints, between the sheets.
Description of the present invention
Technical problem
Observing the circumstance that the technical deliberations that a person skilled in the art must carry out, in order to have the ability to offer a solution to one or more of the technical problems raised, there is initially an introspection of the measures and / or sequences of measures to be taken, and also a choice of the necessary means or means and, consequently, the following technical problems are undoubtedly relevant when developing the present invention.
Considering the state of the art as described above, it is undoubtedly a technical problem of the folding display structure of the type described in the introduction, to have the ability to create conditions such that a display structure and / or a plurality of Contiguously placed display structures can be used to display an image and / or text and easily allow storage of the display structure in an assembled state.
A technical problem also arises from having the ability to create conditions such that, using multiple presentation structures placed side by side, an image or text can be displayed that spans several presentation structures, with no visible junctions between presentation structures. contiguous or, at least, have the capacity to offer only imperceptibly discernible connections between them.
A technical problem also arises from having the ability to create conditions such that, particularly in display structures that have a height that exceeds the span of a person, and preferably considerably exceeds (0.2 to 1.0 m ) of the extension of a person, the orientation of the upper parts of the surface of these sheets, belonging to presentation structures placed contiguously, It can be coordinated by means of magnetic attraction between permanent magnets related to parts or rods of the surface, for example parts of the upper surface.
It is a technical problem to have the ability to perceive the meaning of allowing parts of the upper surface of the sheet to be provided with a reinforcing rod or the like, the end parts of which will cooperate with permanent magnets, particularly those manufactured with a high magnetic attraction force. .
A technical problem also arises from having the ability to perceive the meaning and advantages associated with the ability to simultaneously offer, not just horizontally directed magnetic cooperation and retention between the end portions of two upper rods or the like, each belonging to the adjacent presentation structures, but also to create the conditions that allow to arrange the opposite end parts in the form of edge parts related to the sides of the sheet, with permanently magnetized individual magnetic strips or the like, in order to offer a reinforcement for the cooperation of the sheets and offer a differentiated vertical cooperation.
There is therefore a technical problem derived from having the ability to perceive the meaning and advantages associated with allowing at least a part
ES 2 269 205 T3 end of an upper rod has a differentiated cooperation with an end part of a second rod, and where the opposite end parts are adapted to be provided with at least one permanent magnet, and that the direction or directions of magnetization are / are chosen in such a way that a magnetic force will act between said opposite extreme parts, such as a first permanent magnet belonging to a first display structure and a second permanent magnet or the like belonging to an adjoining display structure.
A technical problem also arises from having the ability to perceive the meaning and advantages associated with allowing said rod to have associated a longitudinally oriented cavity, or a channel extending between the end parts facing in opposite directions to each other, in the which may have one or more permanent magnets firmly installed.
There is also a technical problem derived from having the ability to perceive the meaning of having the ability to select a suitable shape for the purposes, and for the attractive force of the magnet or permanent magnets or the like used, to produce one or more magnetic fields that are coordinated to attract appropriate or similar rods to each other, and to retain them in a fixed position in their relationship to each other, such as an extension or straight line, with a suitably high resistance to bending, which allows the rods or the like to be extracted from their fixed position in their mutual relationship.
A technical problem also arises from having the ability to perceive the meaning of allowing the end portion of a rod to be provided with one or more permanent magnets.
It should also be considered a technical problem to have the ability to choose a plurality of permanent magnets for one end portion of an upper rod and a plurality of complementary permanent magnets for opposite end portions of an adjoining upper rod.
A technical problem also arises from having the ability to perceive the meaning of allowing a rod or the like, arranged at the lower edge of the sheet, to be provided, at least in an end part, with a permanent magnet designed for the cooperation of attraction. with a complementary permanent magnet belonging to a lower rod or the like of an adjoining display structure.
A technical problem also arises from having the ability to perceive the meaning of allowing the lower rod to be provided with one or more permanent magnets or the like, belonging to end parts of said lower rod, facing outward.
A technical problem also arises from having the ability to perceive the meaning and advantages associated with allowing at least one rod, for example a rod belonging to the upper end of the sheet, to be provided with a longitudinal reinforcement at the edge, to which the top edge part of the sheet can be attached.
There is also a technical problem derived from having the ability to perceive the meaning and advantages associated with allowing at least a part of the edge, a part of the edge related to the sides of the sheet, to be provided with a thin magnetic strip or the like, permanently magnetized, said magnetic strip being assigned a selected magnetization direction and / or magnetization directions, directed and adjusted in such a way that an attractive force will act between said magnetic strip and a complementary magnetic strip or the like, attached to an oppositely directed side-related edge portion, of a sheet belonging to an adjoining display structure.
A technical problem also arises from having the ability to perceive the meaning of allowing said magnetic strips to be oriented towards each other, along the edge parts related to the sides, in such a way that a laterally oriented edge part in one sheet will abut or be positioned a short distance from the laterally oriented edge portion of a second adjoining sheet.
A technical problem also arises from having the ability to perceive the meaning and advantages associated with selecting a magnetic strip adopting a thickness of 0.4-1.5mm, for example 0.4-0.6mm.
It should be considered that there is a technical problem, using simple means, to create conditions such that the applied magnetic strips can cooperate with a reinforcement of the upper rod, in such a way as to avoid fracture marks in the sheet.
It is also a technical problem to have the ability to perceive the meaning of allowing the magnetic strip or the like to extend beyond an end portion removed for reinforcement.
A technical problem also arises from having the ability to perceive the meaning of allowing a magnetic strip or the like belonging to a sheet, assigned to a part of the edge related to the sides, to extend over a certain distance on the magnetic strip belonging to a contiguous sheet.
A technical problem also arises from having the ability to perceive the meaning and advantages associated with allowing said sheet to be provided with a magnetic strip for each part of the edge related to the sides and with attaching a rod or the like for each part of the edge. related to the sides, so that the sheet constitutes an independent unit that can be rolled up or unrolled.
A technical problem also arises from having the ability to perceive the meaning of allowing the lower edge of such a sheet to be provided with a rod or the like, and that this rod is designed for easy attachment and removal of the base unit and / or of the support.
A technical problem also arises from having the ability to perceive the meaning and advantages associated with allowing said cooperation between a rod belonging to the upper and / or lower edge of the sheet or the like, and said support or base unit, to be elastic.
A technical problem also arises of having the ability, using simple means, to create such external shapes for the base units used, with a winding structure included for the sheet, that a first sheet can be brought from a first display structure to a edge cooperation with the second sheet of a second display structure.
A technical problem also stems from having the ability to perceive the meaning and benefits associated with allowing magnetic strips to hold.
ES 2 269 205 T3 gained a transversely oriented magnetization or a longitudinally oriented magnetization and, by making use of a thin strip of steel having a function equivalent to that of a magnetic strip, create a sheet with a good and satisfactory winding capacity and with a good and satisfactory vertical cooperation related by the edge.
It should also be considered that it is a technical problem to have the ability to perceive the required coordination between cooperating magnetic strips or the required cooperation between a magnetic strip and its associated steel strip, in order to remain capable, despite these measures. edge reinforcement, to offer a sheet that can be easily rolled up and unrolled, and having sufficiently good magnetic cooperation with an adjoining sheet which is also provided with edge reinforcing means, such as magnetic strips or steel strips.
Solution
The present invention is based on a known display structure, which is foldable and / or rollable, and which has a base unit to be placed against a supporting surface, a sheet that can be rolled up and unrolled and on which appears an image and / or a text, and also on a support to retain the sheet in the base unit or similar, a rod or the like being arranged on one edge of the sheet to cooperate with said support through retention means.
In order to solve one or more of the technical problems listed above, the present invention establishes that at least one end part of said rod or the like must be designed to have the ability to be provided with and retain a permanent magnet, and that the magnetization direction or directions of the magnet is / are chosen such that an attractive force acts between said permanent magnet and a permanent magnet or the like belonging to an adjacent display structure.
According to the proposed embodiments, which fall within the scope of the present invention, said rod will take such a shape that it can firmly install said permanent magnet.
It is also stated that the permanent magnet can take a cylindrical shape, with a preferably circular cross section, or it can take a more irregular shape, such as a shape with a square or rectangular cross section.
According to the invention, said rod or the like can be provided with one or more permanent magnets or the like, belonging to end parts facing outwards.
Also according to the invention, the lower edge of the sheet or the like can be provided with a permanent magnet, at least in one of its end parts.
Said lower rod or the like, will preferably be provided with one or more permanent magnets belonging to end parts of the rod facing outward.
Also according to the invention, the rod, particularly the upper rod, will be provided with a reinforcement in its longitudinal direction, to which the upper edge of the sheet can be attached.
It is established in particular that at least a part of the edge, a part of the edge related to the sides of the sheet, will be provided with a magnetic strip with permanent magnetization.
Said magnetic strip will adopt, in that case, a magnetization direction and / or magnetization directions chosen in such a way that there will be an attractive force that will act between said magnetic strip and a magnetic strip or the like belonging to a part of the edge related to the sides of an adjoining display structure.
Said magnetic strips or the like are oriented in such a way that a part of the edge oriented on the sides of one sheet will abut or be placed at a short distance from a part of the edge oriented on the sides of an adjoining sheet.
Particularly according to the invention, the magnetic strip will be thin, but it will still be able to offer a magnetizing force chosen for the application, and thus it can adopt in practice a thickness of 0.4 - 1.5 mm, for example of 0.4 to 0.6 mm.
Also according to the invention, a magnetic strip belonging to one sheet can be designed so that it extends over the magnetic strip or the like belonging to an adjoining sheet.
Particularly according to the invention, said sheet will be provided with a magnetic strip or the like in each part of the edge related to the sides, and with a rod for each part of the edge related to the sides, thus constituting an independent unit that can be rolled. up or unrolled.
The lower edge of the sheet may in that case be provided with a rod that can be attached to the base part.
It is also established that said cooperation between a rod belonging to the upper edge and / or the lower edge of the sheet, and said support or base unit will be elastic.
The base unit may take a shape that allows the two base units, with winding devices for the sheets, to be placed close to each other and with the edge part related to the sides of the sheet in close proximity.
Various measures are also described for coordinating the magnetic strips and the steel strips of the edge portions of the sheet.
Advantage
The advantages that, mainly, can be considered as characterizing a folding presentation structure according to the present invention are that the conditions have been created to manufacture a presentation structure in which the conditions have been created to obtain a sheet, mounted on a first display structure, to be able to cooperate edge to edge with a contiguous sheet belonging to a second contiguous display structure.
The conditions have also been created to have the ability, in a simple way, to obtain a rod or the like arranged on the upper edge of the sheet, and belonging to a first presentation structure, by means of a magnetic force of attraction, to have the ability to cooperate in alignment with a rod or the like arranged on the upper edge of a sheet belonging to a second display structure, in order to considerably facilitate the orientation of contiguously placed presentation structures, even when said upper rods or the like are located
ES 2 269 205 T3 outside (above) the reach of a person when standing on a surface of the base unit.
The use of magnetic strips and / or steel strips for the opposite portions of edges relative to the sides of adjoining sheets, offers the possibility of exposing an image that is spread over a plurality of display structures without visible edge lines.
The main characteristics of a collapsible display structure, according to the present invention, are defined in the characterizing part of the attached claim 1.

Figures 1-4 show a selected sequence in the construction of a collapsible display structure, in which a base unit 2, which can be placed against a surface 1, and a support 3, attached to the base unit 2, cooperate with each other. Yes. This structure is known from document FR-A2754929.
A sheet 4 having on one side an image and / or a text 4 ', and which can be rolled up and unrolled by means of a roller blind device 20 inside the base unit 2, is unrolled along the support 3 and is attached to the upper part 3a of the support 3 by means 5a at the part 4a of its upper edge.
Figure 3 shows how a first display structure A is assembled, in order to display an image and / or a text 4 '.
Figure 4 illustrates how a first presentation structure A is placed near a second presentation structure B, and where a space -C- between the presentation structures A and B must be accepted, and therefore it must also be accepted that an image 4 'and 40', which extends through both display structures A and B, is divided into two parts clearly separated by a gap. Description of currently proposed embodiments
Figure 5 shows a folding display structure, which makes use of a base unit 2 that can be placed on a surface 1, and a sheet 4 (not illustrated in Figure 5), as well as a support 3 suitable to reinforce and retain the plate 4.
The support 3 illustrated here consists of a chosen number of cooperating parts, such as (3), 3b, 3c, 3d, said parts being foldable in a manner known per se, an elastic cord extending between the parts 3b, 3c and 3d, so that the parts can be pulled apart and folded in a parallel orientation to each other.
The length of each of the parts 3b, 3c and 3d is suitable for the length of the base unit 2.
It is significant in the present invention that the upper part 3a is provided with a connecting device 3e for cooperating with the sheet 4 and means 5a in its upper edge part 4a.
Figure 6 shows a partially rolled sheet 4 in perspective. Plate 4 consists of a
ES 2 269 205 T3 independent unit having a surface 4 'on which an image and / or text appears. The sheet can be rolled up and unrolled, the image and text surface 4 'being applied and spread on a single surface 4'.
According to Figure 9, the upper edge part 4a of the sheet 4 cooperates with a rod 5 or the like, and the lower edge part 4b cooperates with a rod 6 or the like.
The rods 5 and 6 preferably have the same cross-sectional profile and are made of aluminum or alloys thereof.
Figure 7 is intended to illustrate schematically that the support 3 can be inclined, preferably, to an inclined position 3 ', and that the base part 2 can also be correspondingly inclined, in order to fix a connecting means 5a relative to the rod 5 , to the attachment device 3e, and to allow a person P to hold the rolled sheet 4 in his arms.
The support 3 'is then moved to the position illustrated in figure 5, also illustrated in figure 8, whereby the sheet 4 can fall due to its own weight, along the support 3 and towards the base unit 2, so that the lower edge part 4b of the sheet 4 and the rod 6 can be joined in the manner illustrated in figure 9, for example in a groove 2a oriented in the base unit.
Figure 10 illustrates how the part 4a of the upper edge of the sheet 4, with the rod 5 and the connecting means 5a, cooperate with the connecting device 3e, and that the means 5a or, alternatively, the device 3e is elastic, allowing the sheet 4 to be stretched by means of the tensioning force directed from the base unit 2.
There is nothing to prevent the lower edge portion of the sheet from cooperating with the same means or other flexible means.
Figure 11 illustrates that at least one end part 51 of the rod 5 is designed to be provided with a permanent magnet 7.
The direction or directions of magnetization are chosen here in such a way that an attractive force will act between said permanent magnet 7 and a second permanent magnet 7a 'belonging to a second configuration B of contiguous display.
The rod 5 has a surface against which the permanent magnet 7 can be attached, in a manner known per se, and using means known per se.
Here it is illustrated that the rod 5 will be provided with a longitudinally oriented cavity 52, in which said permanent magnet is permanently disposed.
The permanent magnets used can have different shapes and different cross sections, and Figure 11 illustrates that the permanent magnet 7 has a cylindrical shape, with a circular cross section.
Figure 12 illustrates that the permanent magnet 7 may have a more irregular shape, more in particular a square or rectangular cross section.
It is obvious that other embodiments fall within the scope of the invention, with respect to length and cross section.
The embodiments of the permanent magnets 7 illustrated by way of example in Figures 11 and 12, are intended to illustrate that, in addition to the normal attractive force with the same resistance to bending in all directions (x-, y- directions and z-) between two permanent magnets or a permanent magnet and a piece of iron such as a piece consisting of magnetizable steel, resulting from a circular-cylindrical permanent magnet according to figure 11, the flexural strength will be adjustable differently in different directions, choosing different cross-sectional shapes for the permanent magnet or for the steel part.
Referring to Figure 12, it can be imagined that edges 70 and 71 are chosen with greater force of magnetic attraction than edges 72 and 73. The flexural strength of edges 72 and 73 is reinforced by making use of the influence of edge-related magnetic strips, so that considerably higher flexural strength appears in the x- / y- plane than in the x- / z- plane. In certain applications a measure to increase flexural strength in the x- / z- plane may therefore be desirable.
This can be accomplished with one or more permanent magnetizing magnets.
It is specifically emphasized that said rod 5 may advantageously be provided with one or more permanent magnets 7, 7a, belonging to the end portions 51, 53 of said rod facing outward.
Thus, figure 10 indicates that a first permanent magnet 7 or a first set of permanent magnets is oriented towards the part 51 to the right of the rod 5, while a second permanent magnet 7a or a second set of permanent magnets is oriented identical or very similar, but with complementary magnetization for the attractive forces, it is located in the part of the left edge or end part 53 of the rod 5.
Figure 8 is also intended to illustrate that a rod 6 can be arranged arranged in part 4b of the lower edge of the sheet 4, provided at least in one end part 61, with a permanent magnet
8.
Said rod 6 is also provided with one or more permanent magnets 8a in the end parts 61, 63 of said rod 6, which face outwards.
What has been described above with reference to Figures 11 and 12 and to permanent magnets 7 and 7a can also be applied to permanent magnets 8 and 8a. However, the requirement for high flexural strength in the x- / z- plane can normally be reduced at lower permanent magnets.
The permanent magnets used here will preferably be "super magnets", with a high attractive force and with little material.
Figure 11 also shows that the rod 5 (and therefore the rod 6), can be provided with a reinforcement 54 (64) in its longitudinal direction, to which the upper edge part 4a (or edge part 4b can be attached bottom) of sheet 4.
The longitudinal reinforcement 54 preferably ends at the reference 54 ', in which case the magnetic strip 41 or the like extends upwards at the lower edge 5 "of the rod 5.
The bonding may preferably be effected by means of one or more layers of adhesive, one on the backing 54 and one possibly on the edge portion 4a.
At least a part of the edge of the sheet 4, a part of the edge related to the sides and designated
ES 2 269 205 T3 like 4c, is provided with a permanently magnetized magnetic strip 41.
An upward-facing edge portion of the sheet 4, a side-related edge portion designated 4d, is provided with a permanently magnetized magnetic strip 42.
The permanently magnetized magnetic strips 41 and 42 are placed on the back of the sheet 4, so that they do not encroach on the image surface 4 '.
Figure 13 illustrates how two display structures A and B will be oriented, before being placed together to form a set of display structures, oriented according to Figure 14, having an image extending through such sets A and B of presentation with sections 4 'and 40' of image.
Figure 13 shows that display structure B will move towards display structure A with sheets 4 and 40, respectively.
When the movement starts, the permanent magnets 7, 7a '(and 8, 8a') attract each other and orient the rods 5, 5 'in a line L. It is therefore possible to continue the movement along from this line, possibly after adjusting the base units 2, 2 'relative to the line L, until the permanent magnets 7, 7a' (and 8, 8a) are in a position of full attraction.
The magnetic strip 41 attracts the magnetic strip 42 'to an exact adjusted position, determined by the position and polarity of the magnetic strips in selected sections.
Said magnetic strips 41, 42 'are oriented to each other in such a way that an edge of the edge part 4c related to the sides of a sheet 4 will abut or be positioned at a short distance from an edge of an edge part 4d' oriented to the sides of an adjoining sheet 40, as can be seen more clearly in Figure 14.
The magnetic strip 41, as well as the other magnetic strips, will be thin and, in practice, can be 0.5 mm thick.
It should be noted that a two magnetic strip attraction cooperation can also be provided between a permanently magnetized strip and a corresponding steel strip or magnetizable strip. It is therefore clear that a magnetic strip can be easily replaced by a steel strip, which in this case must have a thickness of 0.1 - 0.4 mm, in practice around, for example, 0.2 mm. thick, and with a width corresponding to the width of the magnetic strip or slightly narrower.
The choice of thickness depends, among other factors, on the stiffness of the magnetic strip when bending, the stiffness of the sheet material when bending, for example chosen radius of curvature, permissible deformation, attraction force chosen for one magnetic strip towards another magnetic strip and naturally if a magnetic strip is replaced by a thinner steel strip.
A magnetic strip 41 belonging to one sheet can also be designed to extend over a magnetic strip belonging to an adjoining sheet.
As described above, said sheet 4 is provided with a magnetic strip 41, 42 (or steel strip) in each part 4c, 4d of the edge oriented to the sides, and with a rod 5, 6 for each part 4a and 4b from the edge related to the ends, and thus constitutes a separate unit that can be rolled up or unrolled.
There is nothing to prevent the part 4b of the lower edge of the sheet 4 from being provided with a rod 6, so that this rod can be attached to the part 2 of the base and / or to the support 3, and particularly in a groove 2a stand base unit 2 3.
There is nothing to prevent the part 4b of the lower edge of the sheet 4 from being able to join a device 20 to wind the sheet up or unwind it, as seen in Figures 16, 17 and 18.
Figure 15 illustrates, in sections A, B and C, different cross sections of the magnetic strips, to allow an edge part 4c having a magnetic strip 41 to cooperate with an edge part 4d 'having a magnetic strip 42 '.
Figure 15 shows the position equivalent to that illustrated in Figure 13.
The magnetic strips 41 and 42 'are here identical in shape and consist of a transversely magnetized strip, with an adhesive surface, for contact against the sheet 4 and the edge part 4c, and against the sheet 40 and an edge part 4d . The facing edge surfaces are thus magnetized with opposite polarity, and when these edge surfaces are brought into proximity, they are attracted to each other.
The thinner the magnetic strip, the better the rolling ability of the sheet will be when wrapping with peripherally or edge oriented magnetic strips is chosen.
In section A, the edge-related end surfaces of the magnetic strips are assigned a different magnetization or polarity, and thus form left and right sides to cooperate with the sides of an opposingly placed contiguous display structure.
Section B illustrates a magnetic strip 41 formed with a narrower edge 411 and a magnetic strip having a recess 421 'formed. For this embodiment, it is advisable that the magnetization be in the longitudinal direction, so that the two magnetic strips can cooperate with each other with a different orientation of the edge parts for the connection of adjacent display structures.
The narrow part and the recess have been designed with different and complementary magnetizations, and thus form right and left sides, in the same way as in section A.
Section C illustrates a magnetic strip shaped such that the magnetic strip shape 412 consists of a magnetic strip that creates an enhanced magnetic force.
Also here the issue is a transverse magnetization of the magnetic strips 412 and 414, with a cooperation according to FIG. 15B.
The part 413 represents an adhesive layer, a strip of plastic foam or other thin material (the thickness is exaggerated in the figure).
Magnetic cooperation between permanently magnetized strips, or between a magnetized strip and a steel strip, will be described in more detail with reference to Figures 21 and 22.
Figure 16 shows in perspective a display structure in which the sheet 4 is wound on a winding device 20 within the base unit 2.
ES 2 269 205 T3
To ensure that the display structures A and B and the sheets 4 and 40 come together so much that the edges 4c and 4d 'are in contact with each other, and retained by a magnetic force, hook-shaped end portions are required for the base units 2 and 2 ', so that the torsion axes can overlap each other when displaced laterally.
It should be noted that this structure requires that the image surface be formed on opposite surfaces, the front surface of one display structure and the back surface of the other structure.
Figure 19 shows in perspective an embodiment in which a sheet 4 is supported by through support legs 3 "joined and / or passing through eyelets related to the corners. The rods 5,6 have been replaced here by a tensioning force of the support pins, and the magnets 7a, 7; 8a, 8 are attached to sheet 4 near the eyelets, as illustrated in figure 20.
Figure 21 shows an embodiment in which an edge portion 4d 'is provided with a magnetic strip 42' and has a transverse magnetization direction, designated as N and S, respectively.
This magnetic strip can now cooperate differently with a magnetic strip 412 '. A magnetic strip attached to an adjoining display structure can also cooperate with this magnetic strip 412 ', and this cooperation is in line with those that act according to the principles of the invention. The magnetic strip 412 'may also consist of a separate unit.
Figure 22 shows how a magnetic strip 42 'can be considerably less thick than in Figure 21, and will cooperate with a steel strip 222.
This steel strip could be applied on the edge parts of the sheet, and act with a magnetic force on a magnetic strip 412 ', according to figure 21.
With a transversely oriented magnetization and with a reduced thickness, the distance between the unipolar magnetization lines should be expected to decrease. Known technology indicates that the magnetization thickness / width ratio for one pole should be 1: 2. However, in the case of extremely thin magnetic strips, the ratio according to the invention should be between 1:15 and 1: 4, for example around 1: 6.
The use of two steel strips for the edges of the sheet allows a smaller radius of curvature for winding up. Such an embodiment indicates that the adjoining sheets will have two edge-related magnetic strips, probably with a somewhat larger radius of curvature. The thickness of the magnetic strip should be between 0.1 and 0.3 mm, for example 0.25 mm.
The width of a magnetization line should be between 2 and 5 mm, preferably around 3 mm.
The invention is, of course, not limited to the embodiment disclosed above by way of example, but may undergo modifications within the scope of the inventive concept illustrated in the appended claims.
