  1. 1
Claims of equivalent WO 2017161361 A2 CLAIMSWhat is claimed is:1. A method implemented by a cloud-based controller to control a Wi-Fi network comprising a plurality of access points, the method comprising: obtaining measurements from the Wi-Fi network;determining a configuration of the Wi-Fi network based on the measurements, wherein the configuration comprises a topology of the Wi-Fi network and the topology comprises the plurality of access points selectively interconnected to one another via backhaul links;and providing the configuration to the Wi-Fi network for implementation thereof.
  2. 8
A cloud-based controller configured to control a Wi-Fi network comprising a plurality of access points, the cloud-based controller comprising:a network interface communicatively coupled to the Wi-Fi network;one or more processors communicatively coupled to the network interface;and memory storing instructions that, when executed, cause the one or more processors to: obtain measurements from the Wi-Fi network;determine a configuration of the Wi-Fi network based on the measurements, wherein the configuration comprises a topology of the Wi-Fi network and the topology comprises the plurality of access points selectively interconnected to one another via backhaul links;and provide the configuration to the Wi-Fi network for implementation thereof.
  3. 15
A Wi-Fi network controlled by a cloud-based controller, the Wi-Fi network comprising:a plurality of access points comprising at least one gateway node connected to a modem/router and one or more Wi-Fi nodes connected to the modem/router through the at least one gateway node, wherein each of the plurality of access points comprise a processor and memory storing instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to: perform measurements from the Wi-Fi network;provide the measurements to the cloud-based controller;and receive and implement operational parameters from the cloud-based controller based on the measurements, wherein the cloud-based controller determines a configuration of the Wi-Fi network based on the measurements, wherein the configuration a topology of the Wi-Fi network and the topology comprises the plurality of access points selectively interconnected to one another via backhaul links.
  4. 17
The Wi-Fi network of claim 17, wherein the selectively interconnected comprises at least two access points having no direct connection to one another and at least two backhaul links having different operating parameters comprising one or more of a channel, a channel width, and a bandwidth.
