    An isolated IgG antibody or fragment thereof that specifically binds the extracellular domain of human FcγRIIB endogenously expressed on a human cell with at least 10 times greater affinity than said antibody or fragment binds FcγRIIA endogenously expressed on a human cell, wherein said binding is via the variable domain.

    The antibody or fragment of any one of claims 1-4, wherein said antibody competes for binding to FcγRIIB with the antibody produced by hybridoma cell line 2B6, having ATCC accession number PTA-4591, or with the antibody produced by hybridoma cell line 3H7, having ATCC accession number PTA-4592.

    The antibody or fragment of any one of claims 1-5, wherein said antibody is a monoclonal antibody, a humanized antibody, a single chain antibody, or a human antibody.

    The antibody fragment of any one of claims 1-6, wherein said fragment is a F(ab') 2 fragment or an F(ab) fragment.

    The antibody or fragment of any one of claims 1-7, wherein said antibody or fragment binds the extracellular domain of FcγRIIB with at least 100 times greater affinity than said variable domain binds FcγRIIA.

    The antibody or fragment of any one of claims 1-8, wherein said antibody or fragment is a bispecific antibody or fragment comprising a first heavy chain-light chain pair that specifically binds FcγRIIB with greater affinity than said heavy chain-light chain pair binds FcγRIIA, and a second heavy chain-light chain pair that binds a tumor antigen.

    The antibody or fragment of any one of claims 1-9, wherein said antibody or fragment is operably linked to a therapeutic agent, a cytotoxin or a heterologous polypeptide, wherein said heterologouy polypeptide is an antibody that immunospecificially binds a cell surface receptor.

    The antibody of any one of claims 1-6 and 8-11 which comprises an Fc region, further comprising at least one modification in the Fc region that alters the affinity of said antibody's Fc region for an FcγR.

    A pharmaceutical composition comprising:(i) a therapeutically effective amount of an antibody or fragment of any one of claims 1-13;and (ii) a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
