Rapid mounting means for attaching a gas bottle to a piller

A quick fastener for attaching a bottle on a backsplash and application.

The present invention aims to provide a fixing device not requiring a minimal equipment of the bottle and therefore able to pre-equip continuously the bottles, consistent with a low binding of the bottle to the back plate through the cylinder valve and providing quick release and quick removal of the bottle.

According to the invention, the device which comprises two fixed rigid parts respectively in the upper part on the side of the bottle and the upper part the back rest, is characterized in that the part attached to this bottle least one vertical mortise and the part fixed to the back plate has a corresponding vertical tenon directed upwards onto which can be pushed up and down the mortise until the piece attached to the bottle rests on the part attached to the backpack.

The part fixed to the cylinder is inexpensive molding synthetic resin and can equip each bottle permanently.

The device shown in the figures consists of a part (PB) attached to a bottle of compressed gas (B) and a part (PD) attached to the back backsplash (D) of a wearer.

The piece (PD) attached to the backpack is designed for supporting the workpiece (PB) attached to the bottle.

The part fixed to the bottle is curved for bearing against the side of the bottle and has two vertical passages (6, 7) for receiving two rods corresponding (8, 9) of the other piece.

The part fixed to the back plate consists of a base (10) which is adapted to support the part attached to the bottle, and is provided with two rods vertical (8, 9) facing up on which are strung the passages of the piece attached to the bottle.

The base (10) is arcuate to locally fit the contour of the bottle under the part (PB) attached to the bottle.

The part (PB) attached to one side of the bottle is provided with grooves (1, 2) straps for the passage (3, 4) for fixing the piece to the bottle. Of Preferably, these straps are metal and this attachment is permanent.

Figures 3 and 4 show the backsplash equipped for fixing the bottle. This backsplash also has other features known per se, as an upper flap (30) hinged to the top end of the back rest and designed for the straps passage, a lower shoe (31) to protect the cylinder valve, and loops (32,33) for a belt.

The valve and the expansion valve have not been shown in Figures 3 and 4 for the sake of clarity.

The pressure regulator (P) is articulated by a pin (21) to the fork (20) and the tap (R) of the bottle is screwed to the expander by a nut (23) so per se known.

Preferably, the base (10) of the part (PD) attached to the back plate came from manufacturing with backsplash for example by molding. The tenons (8,9) to this piece are metal inserts that were placed in the mold where which have been reported on the part after molding.

Figure 7 shows an embodiment of the back rest where the piece (PD) is a section of the backsplash.

It is understood that the invention requires only minimal equipment backsplash. Similarly, the bottle equipment is reduced to the play (PB) attached to the side of the bottle.

To remove an empty bottle, the only manipulation required is to unscrew tap valve and lift the bottle and to establish a new bottle is the only manipulation required to don the room integral with the bottle 1 on a corresponding part of the back rest and screw the cylinder valve on the regulator.
