The invention relates to a lock for a motor vehicle door, in particular a door.
The invention relates more specifically to a lock having a rotary latch which, when the door is closed, surrounds a striker arranged in the vehicle body, the bolt being lockable by means of a pivotable detent pawl and the pawl stop can, for the opening of the door, pivoted from a locking position to an unlocking position against the pressure of a spring, by means of an electric motor fitted with a gear lock in which :

a) the gearing drives a rotary disc crankpins which carries at least one crank pin;

b) the wrist pin meshes directly or via at least one connecting lever on one of the pawl coach, so that

c) during the opening operation, by rotating the disc crank pins, the crank pin is first pivot the locking pawl in its release position, and

d) the crankpins disc then continues to turn until the wrist pin is out of engagement with the pawl of the coach or the connecting lever and the pawl is returned by its spring to pivot in its locking position.

Is known, for example from DE 32 42 527 A1, a lock for a motor vehicle door provided on the side of the door, a pivoting latch which when the door is closed, surrounds the striker and is blocked by means of a ratchet or swivel switchblade. The locking pawl is pivotable from a locking position to an unlocking position by means of a rotating eccentric which is connected to an electric motor via a gear. The main drawback of this known lock is that control of the detent pawl via the gear and the eccentric takes relatively much space. In addition, the pawl remains in the unlocking position until the cam rotates through an angle greater than 180 °. When the eccentric jammed or during a power failure, it is not very difficult again rotate the pawl in its locked position.
The invention aims to propose a lock of the type mentioned above according to which the pawl returns as soon as possible in its locking position after reaching its release position. In addition, the lock must be mounted by taking the least possible space.
This problem is solved according to the invention by the fact that:

the pawl has a peg-shaped coach,

two connecting levers arranged one behind the other and pivotable about the same axis, are provided between the wrist-pin disc and the locking pawl, so that

for pivoting the detent pawl into its unlocking position, the pin can rotate the first link lever close to the disc pin and the second connecting lever drives the pawl of the coach.

In a preferred embodiment, the lock according to the invention comprises two crankpins offset by 180 ° with respect to one another, the two crank pins are protruding from the disc crank pins so that it is sufficient to a 180 ° maximum this record to pull and release the catch. Can provide a switch which can be actuated by the crank pins of the disc crank pins and stops the electric motor each time the pawl reaches its unlocked position. Advantageously, the first connecting lever is fork-shaped. A cushioning member may be arranged on the lock, the catch having a stop, so that said pawl is slowed by the damping piece during the pivoting movement caused by the spring of the pawl, of the unlocking position to the locking position. The gear can be an unbridled drive gear; the crank pins to drive can be a wheel.
The invention is based on the idea of using instead of an eccentric crank pins to a disc with at least one pin arranged on this disc, which interacts directly or via a link lever with a trainer of the pawl. The position of the pin on the disc crank pins and the length of the coach or the link lever in the crank pin of the box to ensure that the crank pin causes the driver or the connecting lever only until the unlocking position is reached. Once the bolt is unlocked, the driver or the link lever has pivoted so far because of the crankpin as it passes over the coach or the connecting lever and therefore releases the detent pawl. This pawl is then reduced by a suitable spring into its locking position, so that when the door is closed, the locking pawl can block the bolt in the known way.
So that the pawl is not too abruptly braked in its movement towards the locking position, it has proven advantageous to arrange a lock on the cushioning member, such as rubber, through wherein the pawl is braked.
In another variant of the invention, it is proposed to use as a gear worm gear screw, the drive lugs being constructed as a toothed wheel and thus corresponding to a part of the gearing. Such an arrangement offers the advantage of being constructed to take up very little space.
While the starter electric motor is triggered by a switch arranged on the handle of the door, stopping the engine is performed, preferably by means of a miniature switch which can be actuated by the disc crank pins, as soon as the pawl is in the release position (so once the crankpin concerned actuating the coach or the connecting lever is passed over these parts). To stop the motor, the disc is braked crank pins (electrically) by the engine.
Other features and advantages of the invention are derived from the following exemplary embodiment described with the accompanying drawings, wherein:

Figure 1 is a rear view of the lock after having removed the housing;

Figure 2 is a section on II-II of Figure 1, the disc crank pins being drawn rotated 90 ° relative to Figure 1;

Figure 3 is a section on III-III of Figure 2.

Figure 1 shows an automotive door latch designated by 1, the housing 2 has a recess 3 which, when the car door is closed, a striker box 4, which is secured to the automobile body. When closing the door, the striker 4 enters the recess 5 with a bolt 6 which is arranged to be rotatable about an axis 7 parallel to the striker 4. When the car door is closed, the bolt is blocked by a locking pawl 8 (Figure 3).
The housing 2 further comprises an electric motor 9 which acts via a gearing worm 10 on a disk 11 to the crank pins, a worm wheel and which is mounted rotatably about an axis 12. the wrist-pin disc 11 comprises two crank pins 13, 14 placed opposite each other, which, upon rotation of the disc 11, penetrate in each case in a recess of a first lever link 15 constructed fork-shaped, and that pivot the latter about an axis 16 (Figure 2). A second link lever 17 is also arranged on the axis 16, wherein the link lever 17 rotates, the first link lever 15 and is located against a driver 18 integral with the pawl 8.
The electric 9 is connected via appropriate conductors to a control device motor (not drawn) which is connected in turn to also not drawn switches on door handles as well as a miniature switch arranged on the wrist-pin disc.
When to open an automobile door, it actuates the handle of said door and thus also the associated miniature switch, the electric motor 9 is activated via the control device. This electric motor drives by means of the worm gear screw 10 the disc 11. One of the two crankpins 13, 14 enters the recess 20 of the fork (Figure 1) of the first connecting lever 15, which pivots around the axis 16. with the first link lever 15, the second link lever 17 also rotates and presses against the driver 18 of the pawl 8, and rotates it in the direction of arrow 22 ( FIG 3) up against the pressure of a spring 21 (Figure 2). This operation continues until the bolt 6 is no longer blocked by the locking pawl 8 (unlocking position). After blocking the pawl 8 is removed, the car door is opened by the pressure of exterior joints of the door and the striker 4 is removed from the hollow 3.
As the crank pins 11 continues to drive to rotate, the crank pin 13, 14 concerned passes over the end 23 situated on the side of the crank pin, the first link lever 15. The spring 21 brings the pawl 8 in the blocking position by pressing it, too abrupt a shock is avoided by means of a damping part 24. Substantially simultaneously, the miniature switch (not drawn) on the disk 11 is operated by the second crank pin 14 , 13 respectively, the electric motor 9 is stopped by means of the control device and the disc 11 is braked electrically.
The invention is naturally not limited to the embodiment described above. For example, it is not mandatory that the gear is a worm gear. Those at the ends of the pawl of the coach or connecting levers which are closest to the disc crank pins need not be constructed fork-shaped. In addition, the crank pins to drive can also comprise a single crank or on the contrary more than two crankpins.
