Socket for the connection of flat contact pins

The contact socket is used to connect flat contact tongues, as used in connector devices for testing purposes, especially in the automotive industry. The frequent mating cycles at low insertion forces permitting contact socket (1) comprises a contact spring carrier with two mutually substantially parallel support walls (2,3).
