“CLUTCH MECHANISM FOR LOCKSMARK”
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
This Addendum Patent refers to a clutch mechanism for locks that, in relation to the inner and outer sides of a lock installed in a door, comprises an inner shaft (1), an outer shaft (2), a static body (3), a set of radial python (4) and radial counter punch (5), and a radial actuator (6).
‘
STATE OF THE PREVIOUS TECHNIQUE
The state of the invention of this Certificate of Addition is by its very nature the essential content covered in the Invention Patent 23038; which in its first claim advocates that: said inner shaft, outer shaft and static body comprise a coaxial assembly in which the outer shaft penetrates with rotational adjustment within the inner shaft while both inner and outer axes are installed with rotational adjustment in the static body; said radial python and radial counterbeam set is installed with sliding adjustment between said actuator that is in contact with the radial python and a radial spring acting between the radial counterbeam and the bottom of an outer shaft housing, whose radial python and radial counter punch are combined with each other so that in one way or another they are likely to be traversed between the circumference of the outer diameter of the outer axis and the circumference of the inner diameter of the axis
Inside; and said radial actuator is constituted by an arcuate plate and by at least one rod, whose arcuate plate is located in a defined annular gap between said inner axis and static body, where this arcuate plate extends arccircumferentially covering the angular sector corresponding to the operational rotary travel of said inner axis to one side of a central position and whose rod of the radial actuator is installed with sliding adjustment in said static body and, when unique, this rod is in the center of said arcuate plate and aligned with said radial python and radial counter punch in said resting position.
In this constitution of Patent 23038 the ascent of the actuator (disengaged or closed door state) is produced by the thrust produced by the most prominent part of an eccentric rotary cam when it is in its turn with the lower end of the rod of this actuator; nevertheless, the descent of the actuator is entrusted to the mere action of gravity and to the contest of the antagonistic radial spring of the python counter-game that has as its specific mission the positioning of this combinatorial game and, therefore, correctly modulated for this mission, it is not much the complementary effort it can bring. The lowered position of the actuator (clutch or open door state) is allowed because said eccentric rotary cam now opposes its less prominent part facing the end of said rod of! actuator
In the current device, the gravitational decrease of the actuator can be affected if, adjustment tolerances, roughnesses, irregularities of shape and / or dimension, coincide fortuitously and cause the actuator not to descend and cannot produce the clutch, so that the Door will remain closed when we intended its opening and in a precision lock, this aspect must be improved.
It is necessary, therefore, to look for a solution that guarantees that the actuator, in addition to ascending, will also descend every time it is so intended. Given that this clutch system of Patent 23038 is for locks and that a typical application purpose is for electromechanical locks, where an electrical excitation is required that enables condemnation and decontamination, the solution sought should correspond to some simple and low consumption device. of energy
EXPLANATION OF THE INVENTION AND ADVANTAGES
In this state of affairs the object of this Certificate of Addition to Patent 23038 advocates a solution in which said rod of the radial actuator has an articulated joint with the tip of a first elastic arm that at its opposite end is radially embedded in an axis which is mounted with freedom of rotation and that, with a 90 ° rotational offset, An end of a second elastic arm is radially recessed on this axis which has its other end meshed with the helical fillet of an auger that is constituted as an output shaft of an electric motor that rotates in both directions of rotation and is oriented transversely mind to said freely rotating shaft. This solution provides the reliability that was lacking until now, since it drives both the rise and fall of the radial actuator by means of active thrust sufficiently that they are directly applied on the shaft of this radial actuator and that they are very light and require a consumption of very small energy
In accordance with the provisions of this Certificate of Addition, it is also fulfilled that, considering the tip of the first elastic arm free of its operative articulation with the rod, the effective lengths of said first and second elastic arms, the relationship between these lengths and the amplitude the operating rotation of the electric motor in each direction, they are such that they produce at this point a rotary path whose component on the vertical direction of movement of said rod is greater than the upward / downward operating stroke of this rod in a convenient measure. This allows the first elastic arm to be able to go as far as it would be able in a free state (not articulated with the rod) in the ends of the ascending and descending operating paths, to be elastically deformed with accumulation of a certain amount of energy elastic that ensures that said travel ends will be achieved and, therefore, that the operation will be correct. Moreover, this device implies the generation of an “elastic memory” that, in the event that once the opening or closing maneuver has been ordered and the auger rotated in the appropriate direction, if there is a temporary impediment to perform it, as soon as this impediment disappears the maneuver will be carried out by the release of said energy accumulated by the elastic deformation suffered by the first elastic arm.
According to another particular feature of the invention, for engagement with said auger screw, said second elastic arm forms an angled end at 90 ° which is directed with a convenient longitudinal deviation from said freely rotating axis and which is tangentially attached to the core of this screw. endless. This is a preferred embodiment, but not limiting the essence of the invention.
Also according to a non-limiting solution of this invention, the articulated joint between the rod of the radial actuator and the free tip of the first elastic arm, consists in that the rod is crossed by holes in which said tip of the first elastic arm is penetrated.

EXHIBITION OF A PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
With regard to the drawings and references listed above, a preferred mode of execution of the object of the design is illustrated in the attached drawings
Ί this Certificate of Addition concerning an improvement applicable in Invention Patent No. 23038, the latter referred to a locksmith clutch mechanism that, in relation to the inner and outer sides of a lock installed in a door, comprises a inner shaft (1), an outer shaft (2), a static body (3), a radial python set (4) and radial counterbeam (5), and a radial actuator (6) provided with a rod (6b), all with the characteristics particularly claimed in said Reference Patent and which are illustrated in Figures 5 to 8.
As shown in Figure 5, the purpose of this Certificate of Addition is that said rod (6b) of the radial actuator (6) has an articulated joint with the tip of a first elastic arm (13) which at its opposite end is radically embedded in a shaft (14) that is mounted with freedom of rotation and that, with a 90 ° rotational offset, on this shaft (14) an end of a second elastic arm (15) is radically recessed, having its other end engaged with the helical fillet of an auger (16) that is constituted as the output shaft of an electric motor (17) which rotates in both directions of rotation and is oriented transversely to said freely rotating axis (14).
The operation of this device is well illustrated if figures 5 and 6 are compared: turning the auger (16) in a certain direction (figure 5), the engagement with the second elastic arm (15) causes it to move counterclockwise by rotating the shaft (14) which, in turn, rotates the first elastic arm (13), which with its tip rotates in the same direction that the rod (6b) adopts its raised position producing the disengaged state of the clutch ; however, by turning the auger (16) in the opposite direction (figure 6), the tip of the first elastic arm (13) drives the rod to occupy its lowered or clutch position of the clutch.
As can also be seen in these figures 5 and 6, in the two operative positions mentioned, the first elastic arm (13) is flexed in the sense of trying to go beyond the end of the path reached, that is, that these final operating positions are established. with a certain elastic pressure in the same direction as the path taken to reach them. This is because, considering the tip of the first elastic arm (13) free of its operative articulation with the rod (6b), the effective lengths of said first (13) and second (15) elastic arms, the relationship between these lengths and the amplitude the operating rotation of the electric motor (17) in each direction, they are such that they produce at this point a rotary path whose component on the vertical guideline of the rod movement (6b) is greater than the upward / downward operating stroke of this rod (6b) to a convenient extent.
This particular feature of the invention provides the device with an "elastic memory" which is also useful so that, if a radial actuator (6) starts to maneuver to find some kind of impediment to perform it immediately, the first elastic arm (13) would accumulate enough elastic energy to realize it as soon as such impediment disappears.
Figures 1 to 4 clearly illustrate the constitution of the assembled subassembly formed by the shaft (14) and the first (13) and second (15) recessed elastic arms. In this regard, it is worth noting a preferred configuration of the invention consisting in that, for engagement with said auger screw (16), said second elastic arm (15) forms an angled end (18) at 90 ° which is directed with a convenient longitudinal deviation from said freely rotating axis (14) and which is tangentially attached to the core of this screw (16). In figures 2 to 4, the angled end (18) is seen without the hindrance of the screw (16) in the mentioned figures 5 and 6. Particularly in figure 3, said longitudinal deviation of the angled end (18) can be seen with respect to of the shaft (14).
On the other hand, Figures 9 and 10 illustrate the preferred embodiment referring to the articulated joint between the rod (6b) and the tip of the first elastic arm (13); it consists in that the rod (6b) is crossed by holes (19) in which said tip of the first elastic arm (13) is penetrated.
