Handover failure handling

Abstract

HANDLING DELIVERY FAILURES RADIO LINKS. The described method and apparatus are used to handle delivery and RL failures based on details of context transfer and RACH procedures that improve failure handling procedures. After an RL failure, a user equipment (UE) includes the identity of an evolved NodeB (eNodeB) and/or cell as an information element (IE) in an RRC connection request and/or an update message mobile or any other rrc message along with a UE identity.
