A spinal implant (1000) adapted for introduction into a nonlinear intradiscal space, comprising: a leading end wall (1006); rear end wall having an engagement portion insertion tool (1048); a rear wall (1002) extending between said leading end wall and said trailing end wall; and an anterior wall (1004) extending between said leading end wall and said trailing end wall, wherein said posterior wall has a height (H1) which is less than the height (H2) of said anterior wall, characterized in that said rear end wall and said leading end wall having a height (H3) that is less than the height of said front wall and said rear wall.
