Stage programmable light sequencer for a toy

Abstract

A lamp sequencer for a toy has simple means for individually varying the turn-on time and stage-off time (I-II) of a string or cycle. Each stage (I-II) comprises a lamp control amplifier / switch (Q3, QN) whose gain is controlled individually by a hysteresis element (H). When the voltage on a hysteresis element (H) before interruption is lower than its established interrupt voltage, the hysteresis element (H) is in its non-conductive state, thereby giving the amplifier / switch (Q3) a negative gain. The controlled lamp receives no voltage and is not lit. When the voltage presented on a hysteresis element before interruption is equal to or greater than its voltage of When the interrupt is established, the hysteresis element (H) is triggered and takes a highly conductive state and, therefore, the amplifier / switch (Q3) has a very high gain. The controlled lamp receives its total voltage and turns on.
