Method and system for operating private payment means and uses thereof

The invention concerns a method for operating private payment means. The invention also concerns a device for operating private payment means. The invention further concerns the uses thereof for operating casinos, leisure and amusement parks, commercial and hotel facilities. According to the invention, a user is pre-registered in a database by registering in particular a biometric characterization file during a configuration phase. Then during an operational phase, a user wishing to use a means for carrying out a transaction needs to perform a step which consists in acquiring a biometric characterization file which is compared to the database. If the comparison is positive, the means for carrying out a transaction receives a validation signal, such that the transaction is carried out without any handling of money. A money exchange is carried out between each user and the operator during configuration steps.
