PACK FOR REFILL
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
00031. Field of the Invention
0004The present invention relates to a pack for a refill, and in particular to a
0005pack for a refill which is capable of using a functional liquid stored in a pack,
0006cutting a pack along a dotted line and opening a zipper for filling a liquid from a
0007discharging port into another container, closing a zipper when storing a liquid in a
0008pack in a state that a certain amount of liquid remains in the interior of the pack for
0009thereby sealing a discharging port of the pack and stably storing the liquid in the
0010pack.
00112. Description of the Background Art
0012Generally, people use a functional liquid such as a shampoo, rinse, etc.
0013The above functional liquids are stored in a container formed of a plastic material.
0014In a state that the functional liquid in the container is consumed, a low cost refill
0015liquid is provided in order to the container to be refilled with a new functional liquid.
0016The refill pack is provided for the reason that the cost required for
0017fabricating a stable plastic material is significantly higher than the cost of a vinyl
0018material pack. Therefore, the manufacturer manufactures a low cost refill pack for thereby decreasing a fabrication cost, so that a customer can buy a functional
0019liquid at a lower cost.
0020In addition, since the refill pack is used, the plastic container which is
0021discarded after one time use is recyclable for thereby decreasing the amount of
0022wastes.
0023Figures 5 and 6 are views illustrating a pack for a refill in the conventional
0024art.
0025A pack 20 includes a storing space 23 formed in the interior therein for
0026storing a certain amount of functional liquid. A discharging port 21 is formed in an
0027upper side portion of the storing space 23 in the direction of a corner portion of the
0028pack 20. A dotted line 22 is formed on the upper portion of the pack 20 in a
0029horizontal direction in such a manner that the dotted line 22 passes through the
0030upper side of the discharging port 21.
0031Therefore, the users buys the pack 20 and cuts the dotted line 22 using a
0032certain cutting tool like a scissors for thereby discharging the liquid to the outside
0033through the discharging port 21 , so that it is possible to refill the functional liquid
0034into the container by a desired amount.
0035However, in the case that the user opens the refill pack and does not use
0036the liquid at one time, the liquid remains in the pack. In this case, the corner
0037portion of the pack is folded and clips the folded portion using a clip or clamp for
0038thereby storing the liquid. Even when the clip or clamp snaps the folded portion of the pack, if the pack falls, the liquid may be leaked through the discharging portion,
0039so that it is impossible to stably store the liquid in the pack 20.
0040Figures 7 and 8 illustrate a conventional pack for storing a certain item in a
0041fresh state such as a vegetable or fruits.
0042As shown therein, a pack 30 is formed in such a manner that a certain
0043amount of items is stored therein, and the interior of the same is fully sealed from
0044the outside. A zipper 31 is formed on the whole portions of an opening portion in a
0045lower portion at a certain distance from the opening portion 35 formed in the upper
0046portion of the pack 30 for opening and closing the pack. A dotted line 34 is formed
0047above the zipper 31 to be transverse through the whole portions of the opening
0048portion 35.
0049In addition, the zipper 31 includes engaging groove portions 32 and
0050protrusion portions 33 which are in opposite each other in the horizontal direction
0051in the inner surface of the pack 30.
0052In the thusly constituted construction, when using the pack 30, the dotted
0053line 34 is cut using a cutting tool for thereby opening the pack and taking out the
0054item stored in the pack. In a state that the items remain in the interior of the pack
005530, when storing the items, the zipper 31 is closed, and the interior of the pack is
0056sealed from the outside, so that it is possible to store a certain item such as
0057vegetable or fruit which should be stored in fresh state.
0058However, in the case of the above conventional pack, since the opening portion 35 is too wide, it is very difficult to store the functional liquid such as a
0059shampoo or detergent and fill into a container having a small entrance. Therefore,
0060the above conventional pack is not good as a pack for a refill of a functional liquid.
0061In addition, when filling the functional liquid into the pack 30 in the factory,
0062the zipper 31 should be opened for opening the opening portion 35 of the pack 30.
0063At this time, a working time required for unzipping the engaging groove portions 32
0064and the protrusions 33 is extended for thereby decreasing the productivity. In
0065addition, the working time required for closing the zipper 31 is extended for
0066thereby decreasing the productivity after the liquid is refilled. Therefore, the zipper
006731 is not well adapted to the pack for a refill.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
0069Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a pack for a
0070refill which overcomes the problems encountered in the conventional art.
0071It is another object of the present invention to provide a pack for a refill
0072which is capable of forming a zipper which is selectively opened and closed, in a
0073discharging portion of a pack for a refill capable of storing a functional liquid
0074therein like a detergent or shampoo, forming a dotted line on an upper portion of
0075the zipper in a diagonal direction, refilling a functional liquid from a discharging
0076port into another container by cutting a dotted line and opening a zipper when
0077filling a functional liquid stored in a pack into another container and stably storing a liquid in a pack by closing a zipper and sealing the discharging port when storing
0078the functional liquid in a state that a certain amount of the liquid remains in a pack.
0079It is still another object of the present invention to provide a sealing
0080structure of a discharging port of a pack for a refill which is capable of decreasing
0081an entrance opening and sealing time of a pack for a refill when filling a functional
0082liquid such as a shampoo into a pack for a refill in a manufacturing factory for
0083thereby enhancing a productivity of a pack for a refill.
0084To achieve the above objects, there is provided a pack for a refill which
0085includes a zipper which is formed at a slanted angle and is formed of pairs of male
0086and female engaging groove portions and protrusion portions for sealingly closing
0087and opening the storing space and is formed along a slanted line which is corner-
0088cut and just below the same in the pack in which a functional liquid is stored in a
0089storing space and is sealed therein, and the stored liquid is discharged through a
0090corner portion by cutting a certain corner portion of an upper portion of the storing
0091space when opening the pack.
0092A dotted line is formed in an upper portion of the zipper and along a cut-
0093slanted line which is cut when opening a container for thereby implementing an
0094easier cutting operation.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
0112The preferred embodiments of the pack for a refill according to the present
0113invention will be explained with reference to the accompanying drawings.
0114In the drawings, reference numeral 1 represents a pack for a refill.
0115As shown therein, the pack 1 includes a storing space 3 capable of storing a certain amount of functional liquid therein. The storing space 3 is fully sealed
0116from the outside.
0117A discharging port 2 is formed in a portion from an upper portion of the
0118storing space 3 to an upper corned portion of the pack 1. The discharging port 2
0119includes a small width, so that the functional liquid stored in the storing space 3 is
0120easily filled into another container having a small entrance.
0121An opening and closing zipper 4 is formed in the intermediate portion of
0122the discharging port 2.
0123As shown in Figure 2, the zipper 4 includes engaging groove portions 5
0124and protrusions 6 in a transverse direction over one end of the discharging port 2.
0125As a user opens and closes the zipper 4, the discharging port 2 is
0126selectively opened and closed.
0127A dotted line 7 is formed on the surface of the pack 1 in the upper portion
0128of the zipper 4.
0129The dotted line 7 guides a portion which will be cut by the user. The above
0130dotted line 7 is formed in the corner portion of the pack 1 in the diagonal direction
0131in such a manner that the corner portions of the pack 1 is cut in the diagonal
0132directions.
0133The operation and effects of the pack for a refill according to the present
0134invention will be explained with reference to the accompanying drawings.
0135As shown in Figure 1 , when the pack for a refill is manufactured, a certain amount of functional liquid is stored in the storing space, and the zipper 4 remains
0136closed. The pack for a refill is sold to the customer in a state that the storing space
01373 is filly sealed by the pack 1 itself.
0138When the user who bought the pack cuts along the dotted line 7 using a
0139cutting tool, the upper portion of the discharging port 2 in which the zipper 4 is
0140formed is opened. At this time, the user inputs a finger into the discharging port 2
0141and widens the engaging groove portions 5 and the protrusion portions 6 which
0142form the zipper 4 for thereby opening the discharging port 2.
0143In a state that the discharging port 2 is opened, the pack 1 is positioned to
0144the upper portion of another container, and the pack 1 is slanted at a certain angle
0145for thereby discharging the functional liquid through the discharging port 2 and
0146moving the functional liquid to another container.
0147If a certain amount of functional liquid remains in the pack after the
0148functional liquid is refilled into another container, the user closes the zipper 4 in
0149order for the discharging port 2 to be closed.
0150When the discharging port 2 is sealed by the zipper 4, even when the pack
0151falls down, the functional liquid is not leaked to the outside through the discharging
0152port 2 for thereby safely storing the functional liquid therein.
0153Figure 4 is a view illustrating another embodiment of the present invention.
0154A groove 10 is formed in an upper side of the pack 1 in a constructed shape, so
0155that the discharging port 2 is well exposed to the outside. The another embodiment of the present invention has the same effects as the first embodiment
0156of the present invention.
0157When using the pack for a refill to which the present invention is adapted,
0158since it is easy to store the functional liquid, it is possible to directly use the
0159functional liquid without storing the liquid into another container. In addition, when
0160the pack for a refill is used for the container formed of a plastic material, the
0161volume of the wastes is decreased, and it is possible to implement an
0162environment-friendly advantage.
0163As described above, the zipper which is selectively opened and closed
0164based on a user's selection is formed in the discharging port of the pack for a refill
0165for storing a functional liquid such as a detergent or shampoo, and a dotted line is
0166formed in the upper portion of the zipper in a diagonal direction. When the user fills
0167the functional liquid stored in the pack into another container, the dotted line is cut,
0168and the zipper is opened for thereby filling the liquid discharged from the
0169discharging port into another container. When the user wants to store a certain
0170amount of liquid remaining in the interior of the pack, the zipper is closed, and the
0171discharging port is sealed for thereby stably storing the functional liquid.
0172As the present invention may be embodied in several forms without
0173departing from the spirit or essential characteristics thereof, it should also be
0174understood that the above-described examples are not limited by any of the
0175details of the foregoing description, unless otherwise specified, but rather should be construed broadly within its spirit and scope as defined in the appended
0176claims, and therefore all changes and modifications that fall within the meets
0177and bounds of the claims, or equivalences of such meets and bounds are
0178therefore intended to be embraced by the appended claims.
