Letters Patent No. 90,668, dated June 1,1869.

IMPROVEMENT IN BRAD-SETTER FOR GLAZIERS’ USE.

The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, Moses Kleeman, of Columbus, county of Franklin, and. State of Ohio, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in BradSetters for Glazing Purposes; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, making a portion of this specification, in which—

Figure I is a top view of the setter dr driver, with a brad attached.

Figure II is a' perspective view of the same.

Figure III is a detached view, showing how the opening is made which admits the brad.

The object of this invention is to produce an easy, quick, and safe method of setting lights of glass in window-sash or other places.

The invention consists in a piece of iron, or other metal, made into suitable size and shape, with a slot in one end, and so arranged that a spring may be inserted and fastened by means of a screw over the slot, leaving an opening, to receive a brad.

To enable others to understand the nature and construction of my invention, I will proceed to describe it with reference to the drawings.

The said setter or driver ipay be made of iron, or other metal, and of the form represented in Fig III, being provided with spring D, which is fastened by means of a screw inserted ih hole F, which produces opening H, for the purpose of holding brad E, as is shown in Fig. I.
