IMPROVED BABY-CREEPER OR WALKER.

TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

Be if known that I, P. H. Hurd, of the town of Croton, county of Newaygo, and State of Michigan, have invented a new useful Improvement in Baby-Creepers; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, which will enable those skilled in the art to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawing forming part of this specification, in which—

Figure 1 is a perspective view, and

Figure 2 the frame with the chair removed.

Similar letters of reference in each of the figures indicate corresponding parts.

The object of my invention is to provide a safe and convenient machine to aid children in learning to croon and walk.

A, the frame; B, chair, made so that it can revolve freely; C, rollers, attached to the frame on which tho chair revolves; D, the seat of the. chair. This seat is made of some flexible material, such as cloth or leather, so as to be easy for the child. E, strap, from seat D to the front of the chair, for tho child to sit on or stand astride of. ]j, legs with casters. This chair may sit on the rollers C, without any fastenings to keep it down, so that it can bo taken put with facility, or it may be secured in its place with keepers working in a groove, so that it may revolve freely. ,

The operation of this machine is obvious : The child being set in the chair astride' the strap E, and with its feet on the floor, tho creeper will be moved about the room easily, and the chair itself will turn in any direction. Playthings can be placed on the platform around tho chair for the amusement of tho child.
