    Having thus described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent:A puzzle toy comprising, in combination, a substantially rigid base tray, said tray defining a compartment for the removable placement of a plurality of puzzle blocks therewithin, indicia carried upon the upper and lower faces of each of said puzzle blocks, closure means carried by said base tray for selective movement between a normally closed and an open position, indicia carried upon said closure means having portions corresponding to said indicia upon the upper and lower faces of said puzzle blocks, and different indicia being imprinted upon the upper and lower faces of each of said puzzle blocks, said indicia being imprinted on each side of said closure means, said closure means indicia corresponding to the completed picture formed by the proper assembly of the upper and lower faces of said blocks, and said closure means comprising a cover pivotally mounted upon one side of said base tray for selected pivotal movement between said open and closed positions. (CI. 273—157) This game relates to puzzles and, more particularly, to a picture puzzle game. Picture puzzles have always been popular with children and adults, and various types have been proposed for different age levels. Accordingly, it is an object of the 20 present invention to provide a picture puzzle game particularly suited for younger children, in which a picture of the finished puzzle is provided for guiding the placement of the individual puzzle parts. Another object of the present invention is to provide 35 a picture puzzle game having a multiple number of puzzles, without increasing the component parts thereof, so as to enhance the usefulness and entertainment value of such a puzzle. Still another object of the present invention is to 30 provide a picture puzzle game of the type described that is completely self contained, readily stored without losing parts thereof, and which can be manufactured in large quantities at a relatively low cost.
