[Technical field to which the invention belongs]
The present invention relates to absorbent articles such as disposable diapers, sanitary napkins, panty pads, and urine-absorbent pads. In more detail, it relates to an absorbent article that can apply skin-protecting ingredients to the wearer's skin.
[Traditional technology and its issues]
In recent years, absorbent articles such as disposable diapers, sanitary napkins, panty pads, and urine-absorbent pads have been used in large quantities to absorb excrement. When wearing these absorbent articles, the temperature inside the absorbent articles becomes very high due to the wearer's sweat, urine, defecation, menstrual blood, and menstrual excrement, and the wearer is prone to heat or rash. In particular, it is particularly noticeable in the vicinity of the perineum where the excrement directly touches, or the part where the elastic member is placed in contact, for example, near the waist or around the legs when wearing a diaper. To prevent heat and rashes, a lotion or cream containing skin protection ingredients is rubbed onto the wearers skin. However, there are disadvantages such as dirty hands and troublesome when rubbing. Especially for children and the elderly who have no way to apply it, the caregiver must do it, which is a very troublesome task for the caregiver.
With regard to such traditional problems, JP-H 10-509895 and JP 10-509896 disclose diapers having a surface sheet covered with an emulsion composition. This emulsion composition system is mixed with a lubricant to protect the skin and a curing agent that flows at a predetermined temperature. Even when the product is stored or moved, the curing agent will flow once it reaches a predetermined temperature. Therefore, the required lubricant will flow out before wearing, and the amount of lubricant showing an effect during wearing becomes very small. Since the emulsion is not water-soluble, if the fluid emulsion composition spreads to the surface of the surface sheet, the liquid permeability of the surface sheet is impaired, and as a result, the water absorption performance of the absorbent article becomes lower.
The object of the present invention is to provide an absorbent article that can effectively impart a skin protection component to the wearer's skin in order to solve the above-mentioned problems.
Another object of the present invention is to provide an absorbent article that can impart skin protection ingredients to the wearer without reducing the absorption performance of the absorbent article.
[Means to solve the problem]
The present invention is an absorbent article comprising a liquid-permeable surface sheet, a back sheet, and an absorbent core sandwiched between the two sheets, and is characterized in that: on the wearers skin contact surface , Is provided with a layer containing skin protection ingredients and a holding layer to cover the surface of the layer. The holding layer is designed to promote water solubility when the temperature is above 25°C, and/or in relative Humidity of more than 30% will promote the hygroscopicity or water solubility of the layer.
In the absorbent article of the present invention, on the wearer's skin contact surface, there is a region where a layer portion (lower layer) containing a skin protection component and a holding layer (upper layer) covering the surface of the layer portion are provided. The above-mentioned holding layer (upper layer) holds the skin protection component contained in the lower layer until it becomes a necessary condition. For example, when wearing an absorbent article, sweating or excretion occurs, and when the inside of the absorbent article becomes high humidity, the above-mentioned retaining layer flows or dissolves into water, and the lower layer or the skin contained in the lower layer is protected to appear on the surface, respectively. The skin protection component is attached to the wearer's skin. Therefore, in the absorbent article of the present invention, the skin protection component is attached to the skin at an appropriate time or when it is needed, and its component does not attach to parts other than the skin, and no waste is generated. In the present invention, if the retaining layer is made water-soluble, it is difficult to hinder the liquid permeability of the surface sheet even if the above-mentioned area is provided.
The above-mentioned retaining layer system can be selected from: polyethylene oxide with a molecular weight of 1 to 500,000, polypropylene glycol with a molecular weight of 1 to 10,000, and polyvinyl alcohol with a degree of polymerization of 300 to 4000 and a degree of saponification of 50 to 99 At least one compound is formed.
The above-mentioned layer system containing skin protective ingredients is preferably formed with a compound that forms an oily film on the skin. In this case, it is preferable that the layer system containing the skin protection component has fluidity at a temperature of 35°C or higher.
The above-mentioned layer containing skin protection ingredients is composed of: flowing polyisoprene, triaconane, octadecane, ozokerite, ceresin wax, microcrystalline wax, polyethylene powder, flowing wax, petrolatum, paraffin, At least one compound is selected among them to be formed.
The area system where each of the above-mentioned layers is formed may be provided on the surface of the above-mentioned surface sheet. The absorbent article has leak-proof sides to prevent side leakage and/or leg sides to prevent liquid leakage from the wearers leg circumferences, and the regions forming the above-mentioned layers are provided. The surface of the leak-proof side and/or the side of the leg may also be used.
[Implementation Type of Invention]
Hereinafter, referring to the drawings, an example of the absorbent article of the present invention, which is a disposable diaper, will be described. Fig. 1 is a plan view of the absorbent article of the present invention, which is a diaper, viewed from the liquid receiving side, and Fig. 2 is a cross-sectional view taken along the line II-II of the diaper shown in Fig. 1.
The disposable diaper of the present invention shown in Figure 1 is a so-called hourglass-type open diaper, which has: the front part 2A that touches the wearer's abdomen during use, and the buttocks and/or back during use. The back part 2C, and the middle part 2B that contacts the buttocks during use. The direction from the front part to the rear part through the middle is regarded as the Y direction (long axis direction), and the direction perpendicular to it is regarded as the X direction (width direction). As shown in Figure 2, the direction toward the wearer's side is regarded as the Z direction.
This disposable diaper 1 is composed of: a liquid-permeable surface sheet 10 facing the wearer's side, a liquid-impermeable back sheet 11 facing outward, and sandwiched between the surface sheet 10 and the back sheet 11 The absorption chip 12 is formed. Each of the front sheet 10, the back sheet 11 and the absorption chip 12 is an hourglass type. The surface sheet 10 and the back sheet 11 are joined to each other around the absorption chip 12 by a hot-melt adhesive.
During wearing, the back flap (the part protruding in the X direction) of the back part 2C is superimposed on the back sheet 11 of the front part 2A, and the surface sheet 10 of the back flap is arranged on the above-mentioned back part 2C. Adhesive sheets 18 on both edges of the front part 2A and the front sheet (the part protruding in the X direction) of the back sheet 11 provided on the front part 2A are attached to the wearer's waist. In addition, the elastic member provided on the waist part elastically contracts, so that the diaper 1 is held and fixed to the waist part of the wearer's body.
In the diaper 1 of the present invention, a liquid-impermeable belt-shaped sheet 30 is provided on both sides 4 and 4 on the upper surface of the surface sheet 10, and an elastic member is provided on the side edge of the central side of the belt-shaped sheet 30 31. In addition, the side edges on the opposite side and the front and rear ends are adhered to the upper surface of the surface sheet 10. As a result, a pair of leakage-preventing side edges 32 for preventing side leakage, the side edges of the central part of which stand up when the diaper 1 is worn, are formed, and the upper part of the Z-direction of the leakage-proof side 32 contacts the wearer. Skin.
On both sides 4, 4 of the diaper 1 in the X direction in the area where there is no absorbent core 12 (outside the absorbent area), the elastic member 35 extending in the Y direction of the diaper 1 is bonded and fixed to the surface sheet 10 and the back surface. Between slices 11. Due to the elastic contraction of this elastic member 35 in the Y direction, the surface sheet 10 and the back sheet 11 on both sides 4 and 4 of the diaper 1 in the X direction are contracted. When the diaper 1 is worn, contact wear is formed. The skin around the legs of the persons legs.
In the area where the absorbent core 11 of the absorbent article 1 of the present invention is provided, on the surface of the surface sheet 10 on the liquid-receiving side, a layer 50 containing a skin protection component is provided, and the holding layer 51 is laminated to form a covering layerunit50Face. The surface of the section 50.
In order to protect human skin from irritation, the layer 50 is preferably formed of a compound that forms an oily film on the outermost surface of the skin. The oily film formed on the skin protects the skin from chemical irritation caused by excretion or surfactants, and physical irritation caused by contact between diapers and skin. The shape of the compound used to form the oily film is liquid, semi-solid (waxy), or solid at 25°C. In order to form an oily film that extends on the skin, it is best to be at 25°C or higher. The temperature above 35°C is preferably liquid or semi-solid. It is difficult to form an oily film if it becomes a compound that becomes a temperature higher than human body temperature, that is, 40°C or higher, but does not become liquid or semi-solid. Therefore, as the shape system for forming the oily film of the present invention, a liquid or semi-solid is preferable at a temperature of 40°C or lower, preferably 37°C or lower.
As for the compound system that forms an oily film, the oily film formed on the skin is preferably water-insoluble if it does not dissolve in moisture such as sweat or excrement and run off. However, it is also possible to use a compound that emulsifies when mixed with water and shakes. In addition, the compound used to form the oily film preferably has a hydrophilic group. At this time, even if it spreads to the surface of the surface sheet 10 in a large area, it is difficult to reduce the liquid permeability of the surface sheet 10. And because the compound used to form the oily film adheres to the wearer's skin, it is best to be colorless, white, or a similar color.
As a compound for forming an oily film, the following can be specifically enumerated. However, as long as it is used to form an oily film, compounds other than those described below may also be used. The compounds listed below can also be used alone or in combination of two or more.
Vegetable oil: dry oil such as grape seed oil, safflower oil, soybean oil, or semi-dry oil such as sesame oil, corn oil, cotton blend oil, rapeseed oil, sunflower oil, or jaw pear oil, almond oil, olive oil, camellia Non-drying oils such as oil, almond oil, peanut oil, etc. Among these, considering long-term stability, semi-drying oil or non-drying oil is preferable.
Vegetable oil: cocoa butter, palm oil, palm kernel oil, tree wax oil, coconut oil, etc.
Animal oil: tortoise oil, mink oil, egg butter, butter, lard, etc.
Fish oil: sardine oil, saury oil, mackerel oil, herring oil, etc.
Animal wax: spermaceti, beeswax, lanolin, etc.
Vegetable waxes: carnauba wax, candelilla wax, jojoba oil, etc.
Hydrocarbons: flowing polyisoprene, triaconane, octadecane, ozokerite, pure ozokerite, microcrystalline wax, polyethylene powder, flowing wax, petrolatum, paraffin wax, etc.
A compound in which hydrogen is added to the unsaturated portion of the oily components of (1) to (7) above.
Among the above-mentioned compounds for forming an oily film on the entire surface, in order to avoid skin irritation, oils and fats used in cosmetics are preferred, and petroleum jelly, which is inexpensive and highly safe, is preferred.
The layer 50 composed of a compound for forming an oily film may contain other ingredients for protecting the skin. For example, anti-inflammatory ingredients such as peony, scutellaria, forsythia, chamomile, peach leaf, pipa leaf, wormwood, perilla extract, moisturizing ingredients such as silk woven protein, sericin, collagen, seaweed extract, green tea, bamboo Antioxidant (deodorizing) ingredients such as extracts, PH of natural fruit acids (malic acid, succinic acid, citric acid, tartaric acid, lactic acid, etc.), alkali metal salts and alkaline earth metal salts (pincaric acid, carbonic acid, etc.) Value adjustment component. These components may be contained in the holding layer 51 described below.
On the other hand, the retaining layer 51 is preferably formed of a compound that exhibits hygroscopicity or water solubility at a relative humidity of 30% or more. And it is best to use a compound that shows hygroscopicity or water solubility when the relative humidity is above 50%. When wearing the absorbent article 1, when the wearer's sweat or excrement moisture is present, if the retaining layer 51 absorbs moisture, the retaining layer 51 becomes fluid, and the retaining layer 51 contains skin protection after moving The component layer 50 will be exposed. Alternatively, if the holding layer 51 absorbs moisture, the components of the layer portion 50 appear on the surface of the holding layer 51 through the holding layer 51.
Therefore, the holding layer 51 touches the wearer's skin and protects the layer portion 50 during wearing. When the condition that requires the skin protection component is reached, the layer portion 50 containing the skin protection component appears on the surface to form an oily film. Therefore, the layer portion 50 is affected by the temperature, and during storage or movement of the product, the layer portion 50 generally does not change because the temperature rises. And because the skin protection component of the layer 50 is only exposed on the surface when it is really needed, the efficiency becomes very good and it is not easy to produce waste.
When the absorbent article 1 is worn, when the skin protection component of the layer 50 is required, the component should be surely displayed on the surface so that it can adhere to the skin. Keep the layer 51 at a temperature above 25°C, preferably at a temperature above 30°C. Shows better water absorption or water solubility. If the retention layer 51 is formed with a compound that does not show water absorption or water solubility even if it becomes a temperature higher than human body temperature, that is, above 40°C, it is difficult for the skin protection component to show up when needed. surface. The holding layer 51 is below 40°C, preferably at 37°C. Below C, the water absorption or water solubility or fluidity is better.
As the shape of the compound used to form the holding layer 51, because the layer 50 needs to be protected before the skin protection component of the layer 50, it is a semi-solid (including wax state, gel state, and liquid state) at 25°C. Solid is preferred. Heat these compounds to make them liquid or semi-solid and then apply them. When the melting point of the compound used to form the holding layer 51 is very high, the base material (surface sheet) provided on the holding layer 51 or the layer 50 containing skin protection ingredients applied to it will be damaged and the quality will be low. Situation. Therefore, the melting point of the compound is preferably below 100°C, and most preferably below 90°C. The compound that must be dissolved into moisture to be applied is applied to the surface sheet 10, and the retaining layer 51 must be dried to form the retaining layer 51. Therefore, it is better to use a compound that does not deteriorate even if the quality is heated during drying. good.
Since the retaining layer 51 is in direct contact with the wearer's skin, it is best not to give skin irritation. For example, the PH value of healthy skin is 4.5 to 7.5, so it is better to correspond to the retention layer with a pH value of 4.5 to 7.5, and the best pH value is 5.0 to 7.0. In addition, the retaining layer 51 is preferably colorless, white or close to white because it adheres to the wearer's skin.
Specifically, the compound system used to form the holding layer 51 can be selected from: polyethylene oxide with a molecular weight of 1 to 500,000, polypropylene glycol with a molecular weight of 1 to 10,000, a degree of polymerization of 300 to 4000, and a degree of saponification of 50 to 99. The polyvinyl alcohol is formed by selecting at least one compound. Among them, whether it is a solid or a semi-solid, a polyethylene oxide with a molecular weight of 500-3000 that becomes a semi-solid or liquid at 25-40°C or higher is preferred. Or a polyethylene oxide having a melting point of 35-40°C and a molecular weight of 700-1000 is preferred.
In the case of using polyvinyl alcohol, in order to reduce the melting point of the holding layer, and to improve the flexibility and reduce the physical irritation to the skin, it is best to add as a plasticizer: ethylene glycol, trimethylene glycol, tetramethyl Dihydric alcohols such as ethylene glycol, pentylene glycol, hexylene glycol, propylene glycol, glycerol, 2, 3 butane dihydric, 1, 3 butane dihydric, diethylene glycol methyl ether, and triethylene glycol.
The layer parts 50 and 51 can be formed by applying quantitatively each layer to the surface sheet 10 (base material). For example, gravure coating or relief coating using printing technology can be used. Or apply thermal adhesive (hot melt adhesive, etc.) coating technology to melt the compound constituting the layer by a hot melt applicator, for example (1) After quantitative extrusion by gear pumps, by A method of directly coating the substrate with a mold that is in contact with the substrate using a grooving knife, or (2) a method of extruding using a mold and blowing it onto the substrate by pressing air thereafter, or (3) ) A method of directly bonding to the substrate by extruding into a fiber shape from a mold. In addition, a dyeing technique can be used to immerse the substrate in the direct coating agent and then squeeze out the dipping method of the excess coating agent.
In order to maximize the effect of the coating agent with the smallest amount of coating, it is best to apply only to the upper part of the substrate surface fiber. Among the above methods, printing technology (gravure coating or relief coating), or It is better to apply heat-sensitive adhesive coating technology. For example, as shown in Fig. 3, the base material is supplied from the drum 60, and the layer 50 is applied to the surface from the doctor blade 61. And the layer 51 is applied to the surface of the applied layer 50 from the doctor blade 62. The obtained base material forming the layer portions 50 and 51 is used as the surface sheet of the absorbent article of the present invention. The coating type of each layer 50, 51 can be as shown in Figure 2 and can be evenly coated on the entire surface, or can be straight as shown in Figure 4 (A), or as shown in Figure 4 (B) Shown in the shape of water droplets, or grid-shaped as shown in Figure 4 (C).
The layer structure of the layer portion 50 and the layer portion 51 is not only formed by simply overlapping two layers as shown in FIG. At this time, the layer portion 50 is coated on the coated layer portion 51, and the layer portion 51 is further coated on the coated layer portion 51, and the layer portion 50 becomes a base material that does not penetrate into the surface sheet or the like. As shown in FIG. 5(B), the layer portion 50 located in the center may be provided partially and discontinuously. At this time, the layer portion 50 can be formed in any form shown in Figs. 4 (A) to (C). In addition, as shown in FIG. 5(C), the surface of the layer portion 50 partially exposed to the layer portion 51 may be used.
The more the coating amount of the layer 50 is, the higher the effect of protecting the wearer's skin becomes. Especially in the case of using a water-repellent skin protectant, in order not to impair the liquid permeability of the surface sheet, the coating amount is 0.1-50g/m 2 Preferably, it is 1~30g/m 2 . On the other hand, when the humidity and temperature of the coating amount of the layer portion 51 become predetermined conditions, the coating amount is 0.1 to 50 g/m because the components contained in the layer portion 50 must be revealed. 2 Preferably, it is 1~30g/m 2 。
The surface sheet 10 provided with the above-mentioned layer portions 50 and 51 uses, for example, synthetic fibers such as polyolefin series and polyester series of 1.1 to 5.5 dtex, or semi-synthetic fibers such as rayon, or natural fibers such as pulp and cotton. The unit area weight is 10~60g/m 2 Of non-woven fabric. In particular, as the surface sheet 10, a heat-bonded non-woven fabric with improved strength and excellent workability is preferred. In addition, it can also be used as a water-permeable fiber for hydrophilic treatment, point bonding formed with hydrophilic weaving, etc., air permeability, interval bonding, interval loop non-woven fabric, etc. And in the polyethylene (density O.86~1.1g/m 3 ) Or polypropylene (density o.89~1.2g/m 3 ), etc. After squeezing out or extruding multiple mixed materials, the fiber assembly is placed on the sheet (so-called perforated cotton net) or film with liquid-permeable through-holes provided by hot air or hot needle, even if the set is used It is also possible to use a sheet with a through hole through which the liquid penetrates by hot air or hot needle. It is possible to use liquid permeability, absorbency, and liquid permeability tested by JIS L1092 (Test Method for Waterproofing of Fiber Products, Water Resistance Test Method A (Low Water Pressure Method) 0~300 Water Resistance of Water), and using JIS SL1906 (General Length fiber non-woven fabric test method Air permeability Frazier type method 5~700cm 3 /Cm 2 /Sec) The breathability of the cotton mesh tested.
The back sheet 11 is liquid-impermeable and air-permeable, and is formed of, for example, a polyolefin-based resin sheet or the like. Alternatively, a non-woven fabric may be used as the back sheet, and a waterproof film may be sandwiched between the back sheet and the absorbent core. When it is stacked on another absorbent article and used, it may be formed with a liquid-permeable sheet. Since the coating layer is surely formed, the surface density of the sheet on the coated side should be increased, and it can also be used as a sheet with a multilayer structure.
The absorbent core 12 is an absorbent material, for example, formed by shredded pulp or a mixture of shredded pulp and super absorbent polymer, and a mixture of shredded pulp or shredded pulp and super absorbent polymer is an absorbent sheet such as tissue paper. wrap up. For example, the adhesive part 17 is made of a rubber series adhesive material or an acrylic series resin adhesive tape, and the adhesive sheet 18 is a resin film.
In the above embodiment, the layers 50 and 51 may be provided in the entire area where the absorption chip 12 is located, or may not be provided in the entire area. For example, in order to protect the abdomen or thighs prone to rash and not to reduce the liquid permeability of the surface sheet 10, the front part 2A of the wearer's abdomen is contacted during use and/or the thighs are contacted during use and/ Alternatively, the back portion 2C of the back may be provided with the layer portions 50 and 51. However, even in other places of the absorbent article 1 where the wearer's skin is in contact with the wearer's skin during wearing, the layer parts 50 and 51 may be provided.
Fig. 6 is a partial cross-sectional view showing another embodiment of the present invention. In Fig. 6, on the leak-proof side 32, the area contacting the wearer's skin during wearing, the respective layer portions 50 and 51 are provided on the free end side where the elastic member 31 is provided. And around the wearer's leg is the part that forms the side of the leg that is tightly attached to the skin. Layer portions 50 and 51 are provided near the side portion 4 where the elastic member 35 is provided. Therefore, the skin around the thighs and legs where rashes are likely to occur is protected.
In this way, the part of the absorbent article that is provided with the rubber touches the skin system, and the absorbent article rubs the skin and generates a lot of physical irritation, so it is particularly important to protect the skin. In addition, the layer portions 50 and 51 may be provided in the vicinity of the elastic member 16 where the waist portion is provided.
In the above embodiment, the case where the absorbent article is a diaper is described in detail. The present invention can also be applied to diapers made into shorts, urine-absorbent pads, sanitary napkins, panty pads, and the like.
[Effects of the invention]
In the absorbent article of the present invention, the holding layer used to sense temperature protects the layer containing the skin protection component until it becomes high humidity. Therefore, when the high humidity in the absorbent article becomes high, the skin protection component is properly or when needed. It adheres to the skin, and its ingredients will not adhere to parts other than the skin, so it will not be wasted.
In the present invention, if the retaining layer is made water-soluble, it is difficult to hinder the liquid permeability of the surface sheet.
