The invention relates to a closure device of a cable sleeve. The closure is constructed as a closure tensioning device with a covering shell and a clamping frame. The covering shell has a catch on its one longitudinal side and a pivotably supported clamping frame on its other longitudinal side. In the case of clamping frames which are clamped in beyond their dead point, the longitudinal edges of the cable sleeve, which is constructed as a longitudinally divided sleeve tube, are pressed together.
