Breathable composite sheet structure and absorbent articles utilizing same

Abstract

An air permeable composite sheet material, a method for making such a sheet material, and an absorbent article using the sheet material are provided. The composite sheet material includes a thermoplastic film directly bonded to a fibrous substrate. Thermoplastic film, block copolyether esters, block copolyether. It contains at least 50% of amides and a polymer material from the group of polyurethanes. The substrate is made of polyolefin polymer synthetic fibers. It contains a fibrous web structure of at least about 50%. The absorbent article may comprise a disposable substrate.
