Field of the Invention

The invention relates to a child carrier harness of the type shown in the preamble of claim 1.

Background of the invention

The baby carrier harness is thus of the type comprising two strap loops, which are interconnected and arranged to extend around the two shoulder regions of the wearer and each comprising a first part and a second part, and a carrier pocket mounted on the strap loops having a front piece with at least one free side edge which can be attached to a nearby belt loop by at least one upper first and one upper second connecting device for supporting the front piece to the belt loop; and a seat portion which can be adjustably attached to the respective strap loop by a lower connecting device, wherein the front piece and respective strap loop under the upper second connection device define a leg opening for a child sitting in the child carrier, the first part of at least one strap loop being detachably connected to the lower connecting device. .

It is desirable to be able to use one and the same baby carrier from the time the baby is newborn until it weighs about 12 kg. This is because a child increases about 3 times their own weight and becomes about 30% longer during the first year of life.

In order to enable comfortable carrying of a heavier, it is customary to provide a child carrier with a relief belt extending around the waist of the wearer to relieve the wearer's shoulders to the greatest extent possible.

By providing the baby carrier with a relief belt, it also ensures that the seat part and thus the child's legs and tail come closer to the carrier, whereby the child's center of gravity moves closer to the carrier and it becomes easier and safer to carry the child.

Furthermore, it is very important that a newborn baby is held in an upright position in the baby carrier to keep the respiratory tract free and to ensure that the back is held in the correct position.

Thus, it would be desirable to provide a child carrier harness which allows at least the child's chest or back portion to be moved / placed closer to the carrier as the child is carried, than is possible with conventional child carriers of the above type with or without relief belt. Specifically, it would be desirable to provide a pull over the child's back against the wearer as it sits in the baby carrier with its face to the wearer or over its chest as it sits with the face from the wearer, thus ensuring that the child is held in the correct position. If there is no such pull over a toddler's back / chest, there is a risk that the child will slip into the baby carrier, thereby blocking the child's respiratory tract.

Furthermore, in the case of a newborn child, it is very important that the move that is to keep the child upright ends up in the right position in relation to the child's back / chest, and more specifically at the height just below the child's arms. The pull preferably has the shape of an area over the child's back / chest.

Summary of the Invention

The object of the invention is thus to provide a child carrier harness with which the above-mentioned disadvantages are at least partially eliminated.

This object is achieved with a baby carrier harness according to claim 1.

Description of preferred embodiments

As can be seen in Fig. 1, a child carrier harness 1 according to the invention comprises two adjustable belt loops 2a, 2b, which are interconnected and arranged to extend around the two shoulder regions of the carrier. The belt loops each comprise a first portion / end portion 3 and a second portion / end portion 4. A carrier pocket 10 is mounted on the belt loops, which carrier pocket has a front piece 12 with at least one free side edge, which can be secured to a nearby belt loop by at least one upper first and an upper second connecting device 5a, 5b for supporting the front piece 12 at the belt loop. Preferably, the carrier pocket is so designed and attached to the respective strap loop that the arms of a child sitting in the child carrier are located between the upper first and the upper second connecting device. At least the front piece 12 is preferably made of a padded, flexible fabric material. The carrier pocket also has a seat portion 14 which can be adjustably attached to the respective strap eye 2a, 2b by a lower connecting device 16. The front piece 12 and the respective strap eye under the upper second connecting device 5b define a leg opening for a child sitting in the baby carrier. Furthermore, the first part 3 of at least one strap loop is releasably connected to the lower connecting device 16.

In the case of a child carrier harness of the above-mentioned type, this enables the child carrier to be put on and removed in the form of a jacket.

The attachment of the front piece 12 to the upper first and upper second connectors 5a, 5b is performed in a known manner, and preferably in the same manner as described in e.g. WO 03/003880, why it will not be described in more detail.

In the case of a child carrier harness of the above-mentioned type, the regulation of the child carrier size according to the child's length is made solely by the regulation of the size / length of the seat part 14. More specifically, the seat portion 14 includes an elongated tongue 14a that is

However, it should be mentioned that the width of an upper edge portion 17 arranged on the front piece 12 can be controlled by means of adjustable buckles 18 of known type.

To effect that at least the child's breast portion is also moved / placed closer to the wearer as the child is worn, a second portion 4 of respective strap eye 2a, 2b is connected to the first portion 3 in level with the upper second connecting device 5b, and just below the child's arms. .
