BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a box made of plastics having a front-side arrangement parallel to the front-side adjustable front plate and with side walls forming downwardly open chambers, and in which the front area of clamping chambers is provided, in which fasteners fixed to the front plate are arranged.
In the known drawers of the aforementioned kind, the turning rules are designed as an eccentric locking device, which is generally known in the furniture industry. As fasteners are used undercut, and thus provided with a head, bolts which must first be inserted with their head into an insertion opening in the swivel, and by means of a connecting swivel, the clamping chambers or locking curves grip behind the heads of the bolts, thereby ensuring a certain holding of the front plate. After adjusting the faceplate, the knobs are finally tightened.
In order to apply the front plate, it is therefore necessary that two working pistons are performed, namely that the bolts are inserted into the pivots and in connection therewith that both pivots are rotated to a certain locking position.
The present invention aims to design a box of the type mentioned in the introduction so that the front plate can be fixed in a single working tempo at the box in a pre-mounting position.
According to the invention, the solution to this problem consists in the fact that each turning rule is provided with a cross bolt on which a fork-shaped fork at the front end of the arm is snap-fit, behind which the fork, at the outside thereof, can grip at least one clamping cam of the turning rule, the arm being held at the front plate and is movable perpendicular to its perpendicular to the front plate running longitudinal axis of symmetry.
By the construction proposed according to the invention, it is possible to fix the front plate in a single pre-mounting position at the box body in a single operating tempo, since it is therefore only required that the fork be snapped on the cross bolt of the turnstile. Through this
459 778 snap connection, the front plate is fixed to such an extent that it cannot be automatically detached from the box body, and the box with provisionally fixed front plate can thus be easily transported to another workplace, where, for example, the final fixing and adjustment of the front plate must take place.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the pivot knobs are each provided with only one clamping cam, projecting the cross bolt to the side at which the clamping cam is also provided and a bearing bolt formed at the opposite side of the pivot knob.
In this way, it is achieved that the turn rule has a symmetrical shape, is doubly stored and is useful both to the right and to the left.
According to a further development of the invention, it is proposed that an insertion opening be delimited by the clamping cam of the rotary cam, whereby the insertion opening, when the rotary control is in its operative position, points to the rear of the box and when the rotary control is in a relative position with the rotary position with 180 °. towards the front of the box, whereby the control knob is fixable in each of the two positions.
By this measure, it is ensured that, when mounting the front plate, it is possible to safely insert the forks into the swivel joints without having to bring the swivel joints to a predetermined position during insertion.
If the bearing bolt at each turn rule is provided with a transverse groove arranged on the main side, rotation of this turn rule is made possible with the aid of simple tools in the form of screwdrivers.
Furthermore, according to the invention, it is proposed that the fork of each arm in the region of its free end be provided with one another
459 778 pointing latches whose free spacing is less than the outer diameter of the cross bolt.
This enables a snap connection and thus a certain engagement between the parts to be connected and thus a simple pre-assembly.
In order to enable a space-saving construction, it is proposed that the arms in the area thereof in which the clamping cam of a pivot rule engages behind the fork are provided with a recess.
An advantageous embodiment of the invention is described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which:
Fig. 1 shows a perspective view of a plastic box with front plate to be attached thereto; Fig. 2 shows a partial section along the line II-II in Fig. 1, illustrated after the front plate is fastened; Fig. 3 shows a section along the line. III-III of Figure 2, Figure 4 shows a section along line IV-IV of Figure 3, and Figure 5 shows a view of the main connecting means by means of which the front plate is fixed to the body of the box.
In Fig. 1 is shown a plastic box 1 in which a front plate 2 is fixed to the front side.
The sliding direction of the box 1 is indicated by means of the double arrow A.
The side walls 3 of the box 1 are known in such a manner as to form downwardly open hollow chambers 4, as can be seen in particular in Fig. 2.
459 778
The hollow chambers 4 are closed in the front area towards the top by means of a respective wall 5.
Inserting elements 6 are inserted into the hollow chambers 4, which are provided with an open, fork-like guide part 7, open to the rear of the box 1, in each of these control parts 7 a rotating rule 8 is insertable. The pivot knobs 8 are provided with a transverse bolt 9 and with a bearing pin 10, the transverse bolt 9 protruding on the side of the pivot 8 at which the pivot 8 is also provided with a locking curve 11 arranged eccentrically in relation to the pivots of the transverse bolt 9 and the pivot 10. The bearing pin 10, the diameter of which is larger than the diameter of the cross-bolt 9, protrudes on the other side beyond the turnstile 8. The pivots 8 can be snap into the fork-like guide parts 7 so that the turnstile 8 can be rotated about the axis of the cross-bolt 9 and the bearing pin 10, but so that a displacement of the pivot rule 8 perpendicular to said longitudinal axis of the transverse bolt 9 and the bearing pin 10 is no longer possible.
The pivot knobs 8 are provided with two circumferentially arranged notches 12 and at 180 ° relative to each other, and at the insert element 6 a latch 13 is formed which engages one of the notches 12. By this measure the pivot rule 8 can be fixed in two different pivot positions. and, more specifically, in its active position, as shown in FIG. 3, and partly in a relation to FIG. 3 with a 180 ° rotated position, so that the insertion opening 14 limited by the locking curve points towards the front side of the box 1.
via the front plate 2 is attached a fastening plate 15, which in the illustrated embodiment is made of plastic and is provided with two fastening dents 16. In addition to the fastening dips 16, the fastening plate 15 can also have through holes so that an alternative fastening of the fastening plate 15 to the front plate 2 the dowels 16 and / or fastening screws are possible.
Designed integrally with the mounting plate 15 is an arm 17, whose longitudinal axis runs perpendicular to the front plate 2 when attached
459 The 778 plate 15 is attached to the front plate 2. At the free end of the arm 17 a fork 18 is formed, which is snap-fit on the cross bolt 9 to one of the pivots 8. For this purpose, the fork 18 is provided with two locking lugs in its opening region. 19, whose free distance from each other is less than the outer diameter of the cross bolt 9.
The arm 17 of the fixing plate 15 has a relatively small cross-section, whereby the possibility remains to move the arm 17 perpendicular to its longitudinal axis thanks to its elasticity. Of course, it is possible to move the arm 17 in all directions with respect to its longitudinal axis.
The front plate 2 is attached to the leather 1 as follows:
After insertion of the insert elements 6 into the hollow chambers 4 of the side walls 3, first the turning knobs 8 are first snap into the fork-like guide parts 7. The turning knobs 8 are rotated so that their insertion openings 14 point towards the front side of the box 1. This position is fixed by means of one of the notches 12 and the locking lug 13 of the insert element 6.
At the front plate 2, two fastening plates 15 are secured with the arms 17 and the forks formed therein 18. The arms 17 with the shaped forks 18 can be inserted through insertion openings 20 in the hollow chambers 4 frontally closing the walls 5, and the forks 18 can be snapped onto the transverse bolt 8 of the turning bars 8 9. This simple manipulation first fixes the faceplate 2 without further working temp at the crate 1, that is, the faceplate 2 can no longer loosen automatically. By rotating the pivot rule 8, which for this purpose in the region of its bearing pin 10 is provided with a transverse groove 21, in which a screwdriver is insertable, the locking curves of the pivot knobs 8 can now be pivoted to a position in which they engage behind the forks 18 at the free the ends of the arms 17. Through the eccentric arrangement of the locking curves 11 in relation to the longitudinal axis of the cross-bolts 9 and the bearing pin 10 a
459 778 which the fastening plates 15 and thus also the front plate 2 are clamped against the front side of the box 1. In the final locking position, the front plate 2 is firmly fixed to the front side of the box 1.
Since the arm 17 of the fixing plate 15 is movable perpendicular to its longitudinal axis, an adjustment of the front plate 2 can be effected before the final fixing thereof, and more specifically, this adjustment can be done in all directions parallel to the front side of the box 1.
As can be seen in particular from Fig. 5, a cross-like structure 22 may be applied to each mounting plate 15 as well as to the front faces of the walls 5. By this structuring 22, prior to the final application of the turnstiles 8 is obtained, so to say, an engagement connection between the facing faces of the fastening plates 15 and the walls 5, which engagement connection further ensures the adjusted position of the front plate 2.
In the illustrated embodiment, the rotary knobs 8 are only fitted with a locking curve 11 and thus they only grip behind the forks 18 on one side. This results in a particularly space-saving construction, but still guarantees a secure fixation, especially when the arms 17 in the area in which the locking curves 11 of the swivels 8 engage behind the forks 18 are provided with a recess 24. Thus, the locking curve 11 of each of the pivot bars 8 can be advanced very close to the longitudinal axis of symmetry of the arm 17, whereby the transmission of force between the pivot rule 8 and fork 18 takes place almost in the region of the longitudinal axis of symmetry of the arm 17.
Of course, it is also possible to configure the pivots 8 to be equipped with two locking curves 11 which thereby engage the forks 18 to an arm 17 from two sides. However, as already mentioned, this would enlarge the entire structure.
