(54) Name: Deck chair with a position resting on three support points
7604110-2
The invention relates to a recliner of the type specified in the preamble of claim 1.
It has previously been proposed a large number of different constructions for foldable and / or detachable recliners provided with tension fabric.
However, these previously known reclining or reclining chairs are not light enough and foldable to take up as little space as possible to be able to be tucked into a portable sack, for example. Furthermore, the requirements for a simple and cheaply manufactured construction with low weight, and which can be easily mounted and disassembled and adjusted with different inclination for a lying or sitting person, are not met in combination. .
The object of the present invention is mainly to improve and further develop the state of the art in this field in the above-mentioned respects, which according to the invention takes place in that a reclining chair of the kind mentioned at the outset is substantially as described in the characterizing part of claim 1. Such a recliner is simple and inexpensive in construction, has light weight and can be easily stored by combining disassembly and folding in a very small space in a non-creasing manner and has a suitable shape, so that it is comfortably portable and can be connected to
7604110-2. 2 the folding property without encroaching on weight or utrynroe obtain the possibility of setting for different inclination for a lying or sitting person. The collapsibility of the rear support leg has been combined with adjustability in a number of different locking positions to obtain different inclination of the leg. These locking positions can be easily adjusted without this entailing any significant extra complicated, weight-gaining or volume-increasing construction detail. Further advantageous embodiments and features appear from the subclaims.
The following is, by way of example, a description of some embodiments of the invention with reference to the accompanying drawings.

Fig. 8 is a detail view of the fastening of the tensioning fabric to a beam.
Fig. 9 is a view partly in section of the cross piece with inserted support legs.
Fig. 10 shows a section through another embodiment of the invention.
The recliner consists of a collapsible stand 1 and a tension fabric 2. The stand 1 has two front support legs 5 of square tubes, which together form an angle f of approximately 95 °. These two support legs 5 are releasably inserted into a crossing piece 3 arranged above the ground 20. In the other two arms of the crossing piece 3, two obliquely upwardly projecting beams 4 are inserted, which are likewise releasably inserted into the crossing piece 3. The angle X to about 85 °. As a result, the support legs 5 and the beams 4 together with the crossing piece 3 form the shape of an X. At the upper end of the beam 4 an angle piece 13 is attached, which projects into the interior of the beam 4 consisting of a square tube, as shown in Fig. 8. The angle piece 13 has a horizontal, forward-facing part 18, which is to be pushed into a rearwardly open pocket 22 on the fabric piece 2. These horizontal parts 18 of the two angle pieces 13 also function as a grip when rising from the chair. The shoulders of the cross piece 3 lie almost on the nantel of an imaginary flat cone with the angle oC - It is hereby achieved that there is good space for the legs, when the recliner is used as a chair.
7604110-2
Between the crossing piece 3 and a foot 8 lying on the ground 20, there is an obliquely connecting connecting rod 6 of square tubes. The connecting rod 6 is fixedly connected to the foot and welded together with the cross piece 3. The foot has two angle pieces 24, between which on the one hand a connecting rod 6 and on the other hand a support rod 7 are arranged. This support rod 7 is pivotable in the foot 8 and can be locked in different inclination positions as can be seen from the solid and dashed lines in Figs. 2 and 6. A pin 12 extending from both sides of the support rod 7 can be placed in two or three different locking positions 9 on the foot 8. On the underside of the support rod 7 there is a longitudinal slot 26, into which a pin 17 on the angle piece 24 projects as shown in Fig. 6. When the support rod 7 is pulled upwards, the pin 12 exits one of the locking positions 9 and can, after changing the inclination, be pushed into one of the other locking positions. When the tension fabric 2 is loaded by a person using the recliner, the support rod 7 is pressed downwards, so that the pin 12 is securely retained in the catch 9. A bolt 27 limits the pivoting movement of the support rod 7 backwards. The distance between the pin 12 and the longitudinal slot 26 amounts to at least the thickness of the tube, so that the forces occurring during the load on the bolt 17 and on the pin 12, respectively, do not become too great.
The support rod 7 is made in two parts and contains a telescopically extendable, non-rotatable extension rod 10, which by means of a locking pin 11, which engages in a hole, can be locked in the desired extension position. At the upper end of this pull-out rod 10 there is a transverse rod 14, which by means of a connecting piece 28 is inserted into the upper end of the pull-out rod 10 in such a way that it cannot turn. This transverse rod 14 enters a loop 32 on the tension fabric 2 as shown in Fig. 7. The tension fabric 2 is held in this way on one side of the transverse rod 14 and on the other side of the two angle pieces 13 and is cut on such that a pit is formed at the seating area, so that it will be comfortable to sit or lie on the deck chair. j .
The connecting piece 28 is provided with a square hole 30, into which an umbrella rod can be inserted, the upper end of which is provided with a ball to make it possible to swing the umbrella in all directions. However, the ball may also be attached to the connector 28.
As can be seen from Fig. 9, a releasable locking of the support leg 5 is obtained similar to the beam 4 in the cross piece 3 by means of a spring pin 34, which is connected to a leaf spring 35 in the interior of the tube. The spring pin 34 enters a hole 38 in the support leg 5 and the beam 4, respectively, and in the crosspiece 3.
A readable one is also used between the support rod 7 and the pull-out rod 10
7604110-2 locking device, wherein a sprung control knob 11 is arranged on the support rod 7, which button engages in axially corresponding holes in the support rod 7 and in the pull-out rod 10. In the pull-out rod 10 there are several holes placed at a certain distance from each other, so that it it must be possible to place the bar in different pull-out positions, whereby the suspension of the tension fabric can also be changed.
As can be seen from Fig. 10, the two support legs 5 can be connected to the cross piece 3 by means of a flexible wire 38, so that they cannot be lost and are not confused with each other. In the interior of each support leg there is a tension spring 39, which clamps when the legs 5 are pulled out of the tube cross 3 and turned. The wire 38 is attached to the crosspiece 3 by means of a transverse pin 40. The tension spring 39 is suspended from a pin 41, which passes through the support leg 5. In this way, the legs 5 can be laid parallel to the connecting rod 6 in a space-saving manner. A similar device is provided for the beams 4, which are likewise provided with a resilient wire and are thus connected. with the cross 3, so that they can not be lost. '*
The pull-out rod 10 can be practically completely lowered into the interior of the support rod 7, so that the support rod 7 and the pull-out rod 10 are not longer than the connecting rod 6. The stand 10 can thereby be folded in a space-saving manner, so that it can be easily inserted. a portable, long sack 10 as indicated in Fig. 4. The tensioning fabric 2 removable from the stand 1 can then be laid around the folded stand 1.
