(54) Name: Relay with two Winding carriers ΰρρ ^ · £ΠΠ£Πβ0Π avLooks a relay with upper winding carriers, which are arranged axially in alignment with each other on either side of a carrier plate.
Such relays are often used in devices in which several relays are lined up next to each other by means of a common carrier plate. In this way, often parts of the magnetic flow paths and the electrical wiring paths formed by contact plates are common to several or all of these relays. By means of plastic control means, there are then formed channels for the parts which form the magnetic or electrical circuits into which channels the windings must be inserted.
In this context, it is known to push self-supporting coils on winding carriers arranged inside the channels and to fasten them by gluing.
The problem underlying the invention consists in facilitating the manufacturing step which consists in introducing the relay windings into the control channels, which according to the invention is achieved by providing the winding carriers of the flanges facing the carrier plate with flanges facing the support plate which are flanged. made in the form of pins extending through recesses in the carrier plate, or in the form of shafts, which at
7500784-9 the composition during clamping takes up the pins on the second bobbin.
An essential advantage of the invention is that, except for the introduction of the two winding carriers into corresponding control channels and the fixation of the two coil bodies on the carrier plate during this introduction, no further working temp is required. In the known devices having relays in a row, on the other hand, a drop of glue must be applied to both sides of the support plate, which must be done with the utmost accuracy and care in view of the serious consequences of contaminating moving parts of the relay with glue.
Thus, a fixation of the coil bodies is achieved without extra fasteners or adhesives and the advantage that the mounting can be easily automated, and in addition, it is essential that no loss of winding space arises by the fixing of the coil bodies. The flanges on the coil bodies lie directly against the carrier plate. This complete utilization of the control channel for the coil body with wound coil significantly contributes to a self-supporting coil of known kind can be exchanged for a coil body coil made according to the invention. Namely, the extra space demand caused by the coil body can be compensated within certain limits by using wire without thermoplastic coating, which in the manufacture of a self-supporting coil is used to effect a coalescence of the individual winding turns.
In this context, it is also an advantage to use the winding carriers used for the known row arrangement of the relay carriers as coarse centering control for the coil bodies. Thus, a far-reaching interchangeability is obtained partly between the self-supporting coils and the coils wound on coil bodies and partly between the coils wound on coil bodies.
The joining of two winding carriers to a separate relay or to a relay in a row arrangement of relays having partial parts in common is achieved according to an advantageous embodiment of the invention by arranging the same number of pins and shafts on the flanges of the coil bodies, whereby the pins and shafts are distributed. in such a way that a single embodiment of the coil bodies allows two coil bodies to be connected to each other. This essential property can be achieved by a large number of different distributions, whereby at a relatively small number of pins and shafts two similar fastening elements are preferably arranged diagonally.
An exact and lasting fixed connection between two coil bodies
7500784-9 can be obtained especially if the shafts are issued as bushes of circular cross-section, which are provided with radial projections on the inside. The dimensions of the projections are thus chosen in view of the material properties of the flanges of the spool body that the projections at the insertion of the pins on the associated spool body are plastically deformable.
In its entirety, the invention enables the construction of relays with winding in any combination in a single step, which is not technically very complicated in manufacturing, whereby the liquid storage of the two coil bodies on the carrier plate achieves a far-reaching independent of the tolerances of the carrier plate. *
The invention will be described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawing, which shows an embodiment of the invention.
Fig. 1 shows a longitudinal section through two coil bodies connected in the region of a carrier plate.
Fig. 2 shows a cross section through the fastening plate.
The magnetization winding of the relay shown in Fig. 1 is formed by the two coils Spl and Sp2, which are arranged to reach their coil bodies W1 and W2 respectively with two flanges F1, F12 and F21, F22, respectively. The flanges F12 and F22 carry the connection contacts K1 and K2, respectively, while the flanges F1 and F21 facing the support plate P are provided with pins S and bushes B, respectively, which enable the two coils Spl and Sp2 to be held on the support plate. For fastening the coils Spl and Sp2, the coil bodies W1 and W2 are pushed over the control means Z, so that in the recesses A in the carrier plate P a pin S on a flange, for example F21, and the bushing on the flange (F1) on the second coil body (W1) are located. across from each other. By exerting a suitable force in the axial direction of the two coil bodies W1 and W2, the pins S, which are slightly oversized in relation to the free space formed within the bushings B of the projections R, are pressed into the bushings during clamping. The dimensions of the pins S and the bushings B are thereby adapted so that the flanges F1 and F21 will be close to the support plate F-.
In Fig. 2, it is evident that each of the flanges closest to the carrier plate P, of which only the flange F1 is visible, is provided with two bushings B and two. pin S diagonally arranged. Regardless of the position of the flanges (File) in relation to the control Z, the pin on one flange always meets the bushing on the other flange.
