The present invention relates to a further development of the container specified in patent No. 323,625. In this, the corner areas of the container also include the corner areas of the deep-layered protective layer, which as a jointless inner container, which is fully extended to the inner surfaces of the bottom and the side walls by means of a thermoplastic adhesive, and thus extends from one side to the other by the independent panels. fixes the side walls in their projecting position from the bottom. It has now surprisingly been found that if the corner areas of the container comprising the protective layer portions are at a distance from the intersection point between the planar side walls extending towards each other and the gap between the adjacent side walls in the corner areas can thus be made relatively controllable but without the relative strength of the container and without having to make the protective layer stronger. This appears to be due to the effective staking of the portions of the protective layer which extend freely over the spaces, which the side walls joined to the protective layer entail. To a small extent, it also appears to depend on the cross-sectional shape of the free protective layer portions.

The invention will be described in the following with reference to the accompanying drawings. Fig. 1 shows a substance for a container spread out in plane. In the blank shown in Fig. 2, to the edge portion 17 of the bottom 2, the corner areas between adjacent side walls 3 are connected by a bending instruction coinciding with the respective edge portion 17, which in the raised container extends outside of and is connected to the protective layer portion 16 in the home area. The tongues 18 reinforce the lower portion of the container most exposed by the outer layer of the protective layer 16 exposed in the container in the corner areas between adjacent side walls 3 and the bottom 2 of the container, see Fig. 4.

In Fig. 5 it is shown that the protective layer part 16 can also be straight. The protective layer portion can be of any other shape without losing its resistance.

In the corner area shown in Fig. 6 of a modification of the container, one side wall 3 extends towards and slightly beyond the edge of the other adjacent side wall 4 in the same corner area, whereby the protective layer formed by the protective piece 6 holds together the edge area in a substantially edge to edge position. adjacent side walls 3 and 4.
