AB LARSEN AND B KUNG, OSLO, NORWAY Agents: 1 'Kinberg Training Equipment
The present invention relates to such training tools, which comprise at least two handles which can be pressed against or from each other against spring load. Such tools, were used for physical. strength training, mO ^ on, physiotherapy, etc.
The hitherto known embodiments have several disadvantages, which means that the implements cannot meet all the requirements set out for different training utilities and programs. In some implements, the spring is subjected to compressive load when the handles are pressed against each other and tensile load when pressed from each other. A spring which is designed for both compressive and tensile loads is less suitable for thrust gear of this kind, eftesoom for the suspension spring, ie The difference between the length of the spring in the completely identical and fully extended position is relatively small, and in addition, the spring is exposed to the risk of being broken due to the varying pressure and tensile stresses.
Moreover, such a specially designed spring is more expensive and requires a tighter storage than a conventional compression or tension spring.
The use of the known change tools offers only a few variation possibilities, that is, usually intended. for average performance, the main total is due to the fact that the handles in the overkamnima position of the implement always have a fixed position at an uninhabited distance. each other.
The present invention is to eliminate these disadvantages and produce a new training tool which also offers significant advantages in other respects.
According to the invention, the training device consists of a handle-shaped, rod-shaped element with two stop means, one located approximately at the center of the stitch and the other at one end thereof. A tubular or sleeve-shaped element, similarly provided with a handle, is telescopically slidably mounted on the stitch and envelops a ply of this slidable spring member, which includes a two-piston member tensioned coil spring. The piston member is intended to cooperate with the stub stop means and with transverse, upright stop members at the ends of the sleeve in such a way that the handles are pressed against or from each other, one piston member cooperating with one of the rod s top members and the other piston member. with one of the sleeve stop means, whereby both cases are compressed and not subjected to stretching.
The stop means located at one end of the bar is conveniently fastened by means of a screw inserted into the end of the bar, so that the sleeve, as well as the fastener, can be removed from the bar after the screw is loosened and removed along with the same surface. without permanently connected stop means. In this way the sleeve can be turned and knitted in place with its opposite end, whereby the handle of the rod and the sleeve in the upper chamber position of the tool for a different spacing than in the first case (of course, provided that the handle of the sleeve is not placed in the middle, which is however less suitable, as both the handle's and the sleeve's handle should be placed as close to each end as possible). The sleeve is preferably also freely rotatable about the rod, so that the handles can also be set at an arbitrary angle to each other 'and you can grasp them in the de-fc position, which best meets individual wishes and needs.
Other features and advantages of the invention will be apparent from the following description with reference to the accompanying drawings, which shows an example p1 of an embodiment of the training manual. . '
Fig. 1 shows the implement seen from the side, partly in the shaft section, whereby the handles are so positioned that they are in the inoperative position at the largest equidistant distance from one another.
Fig. 2 shows the implement with the sleeve turned, so that the distance between the hatchet and the sleeve becomes that of the Hg.
Figs. 3 and 4 show the implement (with the handles set according to Fig. 2) after the handle is pressed against each other repsively. In Fig. 4, there is also shown with dashed lines an even extra handle on the sleeve.
Fig. 5 is a partial longitudinal section on an enlarged scale through the implement.
In the drawings, 1 denotes one provided with handle 5, illustrated or otherwisema t (sOm Ivy turtle also can bestl of a tube), which further or for- seen with two stop means 2 and 4 in the form of transverse discs, one of which the disc 2 is arranged approximately at the center of the rod and the other disc,
4, we d ees s nnee. A tubular sleeve-shaped element 9, which is also fitted with red handle 11, is telescopically slidable on rod 1 and surrounds a spring member on this slidable member, which consists of a median two piston members 6 and 7, which are bolted in spring 8 a regular compression spring.
The ends of the sleeve 9 are inwards so as to form stop means which extend so far that they overlap the piston members 6, 7 but not the stop discs, 2, 4. The stop plate 4 at the end of the rod 1 is provided with a screw 3. with a light head, which is screwed into a threaded hole at the end of the rod (as already mentioned, the rod can be designed as a tube throughout its entire length, but it naturally gains greater strength, including greater bending strength, and it is increased maasiv). After unscrewing screw 3 and stop plate 4, the sleeve 9 with spring arrangement 6, 7, 8 can be pulled off from rod 1, knitted on it in an unexpected position, after which the stop disk 4 is reattached to the reddest screw 3. This allows the implement to change a few simple handles from the input count of FIG. 1 to the input count of FIGS. 2-4, and vice versa. As shown in Fig. 4, the sleeve 9 may be provided with an additional handle 12. The sleeve 9 is freely rotatable about the rod 1, so that the handles 5, 11 without altering the distance between them in the longitudinal direction of the apparatus in the initial position (Figs. 2 and 3) can be adjusted at a different angle to each other.
In the setting according to Figs. 2-4, the piston member 6 alternates with the high end of the sleeve 9, inwardly biased end 10 and the stop member 4 of the rod 1, already the piston member 7 alternately interacts with the stop means 2 and with the left end of the sleeve 10.
When the handles 5, 11 from the starting position according to Fig. 2 (the inoperative position of the implement) are moved together, carbon is sifted 7 almost ομ ^ ι-Ι !, '! against the abrasive disk 2 and thus cannot be pushed along the rod, while the second piston gear 6 due to its engagement with the stop means of the sleeve 9, i.e. its right end 10, is moved in the same direction along the handle 11, i.e. towards the handle 5, and in this case, the spring 8 successfully springs to the position of Fig. 3. As the pressure on the handles increases, the spring 8 presses the parts to the position of Fig. 2. If the handles from this position are pressed apart, the piston member 6 cooperates with the stop plate 4, and the piston member 7 is actuated by the stop member 2 (the ring ring) at the sleeve. 9 to the left end, so that in this case spring 8 is also exposed to a clean pressure plunger.
In he ^ a ^ ns 1ι1, nfrldlsdnninganan (from andhrs mot vanannrA) FunGe xNMN thus, one of the stopping means as a mediator and the other such means, under the condition that one of them is held still and the other is pressed either or from it. On the other hand, both handles are simultaneously pressed against each other or from each other, both stop means act as carriers.
The implement according to the invention offers many training opportunities.
Arm exercises can be performed by grasping each handle 5, 11 and holding the implement at approximately the right angle to the chest and moving (pressing) the handles towards and from each other, either alternately or periodically. The implement can also be held approximately parallel to the chest. In addition to arms and hands, these exercises also strengthen shoulder and chest muscles. With a slightly larger dimension-linked tool, with both hands you can grasp, for example, the handle 5 and place one foot on each ay of the handle 11 projecting legs from the sleeve and perform root movements, which strengthen the arms, legs, chest, back, etc. Despite its simple construction and structure is the tool mcmnssadgt use-t-t and offers extensive training opportunities. It is also very easy to deal with and is just as well suited for mooion and gymnastics as for personal strength training.
For further elucidation of the prior art, reference is made to French Patent Publication No. 1,370,471, which describes a training tool in which the spring is actuated in the same direction in both pressure and knit stoves. This known embodiment, however, differs substantially from the implement of the present invention and does not otherwise exhibit its characteristic features and technical advantages.
