A fastening system used in a garment
Full description
Background of the invention
The present invention relates to a fastening system used in a garment. More specifically, the invention relates to a mechanically advanced fastening system used in a garment such as a disposable diaper, diaper cover, or incontinence pants.
A conventional tape or surface strap used as a fastening system in a garment of this type includes an assembly comprising hook elements and a loop patch comprising respectively a plurality of hook panels and an plurality of loop elements (known by the trade name VELCRO TAPE or MAGIC TAPE) . In the aforementioned fastening system, a mechanical connection occurs between the hooks and loops in the patches extending in the vertical direction relative to the patches, when the hook elements come into contact with the annular patch.
Figures (5) and (6) show a group of hook panel elements (17) on the hook panel (13), and these are connected to a group of loop elements (25) on the loop panel (14). Referring to Figure (5), the hook elements (13) are connected to the loop panel (14) when the hook elements are pressed against the loop panel in the direction shown by the arrow &A&, and are released from it when the hook elements are pulled vertically. As shown by the arrow &B&. Now referring to
Figure (6): These two patches (13, 14) are subjected to tension when they are pulled horizontally in the opposite direction, as shown by the arrows &D&, &C& from the mutual connection between them, shown in Figure (5). Figure (6) indicates that many of the hook panel elements (17) can be positively associated with the corresponding loop elements (25). In the case shown in Figure (5), the hook panel elements (17) are inserted into the spaces between the ring elements (25), while only a few hook panel elements (17) are connected to the corresponding ring elements (25). As a result, the hook elements (13) can easily be released from the loop panel (14) when the hook elements (13) are pulled up from the loop panel.
(14).
Regarding such a system used for fastening, Japanese publicly available patent application No. 276251-4 Hei states that a loop panel can be intermittently attached to a garment to facilitate the capture of multiple hook panel elements by corresponding loop elements, whereupon the hook elements are pulled horizontally. .
When the garment is placed on the wearer's body and is fastened by attaching the hook elements to the loop panel in the fastening system, it sometimes happens that the hook elements are released from the loop panel as a result of the forces located vertically on the fastening system, which work to release the hook patch. hook elements of the loop patch. To avoid this happening, there is a need for an advanced fastening system, so that when the garment is placed on the wearer's body, the mutual connection between the two patches cannot be easily loosened as a result of the involuntary movement of the hook patch in the vertical direction relative to the loop patch, but only release occurs.
Through positive attraction of the hook patch in the vertical direction when wanting to remove the garment from the wearer's body. Although the aforementioned patent application, which is available for public review No. 4 Hei 276251, discloses a means of securing the connection between the hook elements and the loop panel when the hook elements move in the horizontal direction relative to the loop panel, a method has not yet been disclosed. It is possible to secure the connection between these two patches when the hook elements move in the vertical direction relative to the ring patch.
General description of the invention
In light of the problems described above, the main object of this invention is to provide a fastening system used in a garment to ensure that the hook elements do not easily release from the loop panel even as the hook elements move in the vertical direction away from the loop panel.
The above-mentioned goal is achieved according to this invention through a fastening system that connects to the waist area in the back layer of the garment. The fixation system includes a pair of supporting tape members located at opposite side edges in the waist area. Each supporting bar element includes a top surface, and has a first end that attaches tightly to the corresponding side end in the waist area, and a second end that extends outward beyond the corresponding side end in the waist area. The fixation system also includes a pair of hook patches connected to a pair of supporting band members, with an annular patch provided on the outside of the back flap at a position suitable for attaching the pair of hook patches in a releaseable manner.
Each hook element includes a base panel and a set of hook panel rows. The base panel has an upper surface and a back surface. The width of the base panel is determined by the upper and lower side edges of the patch, each of which is parallel to the other. Rows of hook panels extend in the vertical direction from the upper surface of the basal patch. The back surface of the base panel contains a tightly fixed area and a loosely attached area. The sealed area is secured by means of an adhesive applied over the entire width of the area up to the supporting strip which is adjacent in the outer direction to the first end end of the accompanying supporting strip member. As for the area that is not tightly fixed, it is not directly attached to the supporting tape, and it is adjacent in the external direction to the secure area, and in the internal direction to the second end of the supporting tape member. The hook panel elements are spread jointly with the non-tight area, and here the number of rows of hook panel elements in the non-tight area is less than in the tight area. According to the present invention, each hook element is capable of being progressively released from the loop panel when the second end end of the accompanying supporting tape member is captured and pulled toward the first end end of the accompanying supporting tape member. The rows of hook panels in the loose region extend across the direction in which the hook elements are progressively released from the loop. The hook panel elements spread jointly in the loose area include 2-20 rows of hook panels. The length of the loose region, measured in the direction the hook elements are released from the annular patch, is less than that in the tight region.
According to a preferred aspect of the present invention, the flexural resistance of the base panel is less than 0.1 gram as measured by a hardness testing device commercially known as GURLEY, which is a device used to determine all the flexural resistances disclosed in this article.

Detailed description
The attachment system in this invention used with a garment will be described in more detail by referring to the attached figures and drawings for a specific embodiment in which the attachment system is used with a disposable diaper as a typical example of a garment.
Figure (1) shows a perspective view of a disposable diaper (1), which includes a fluid-permeable top sheet (2), an impermeable back sheet (3), and a fluid-absorbent core (not shown) located between a front area (6 ) and a back area (7), with a leg bifurcation area (8) extending between them. The fixation system according to this invention includes a connecting bar (10) and a receiving bar (11). A pair of connecting strips (10) extend in succession from the opposing side edges transversely in the posterior waist region (7), and the receiving strip (11) is attached to the outer surface of the posterior foil (3), and extends from it circumferentially.
Each of the bonding tapes (10) includes a supporting tape (12) and hook elements (13) that are securely attached to the upper surface of the supporting tape (12). The receiving strand (11) includes a toroidal patch (14). The hook elements (13) and loop panel (14) both go under the common brand name VELCRO TAPE, or MAGIC TAPE. The patch (13) and patch (14) are coupled together so that they can be connected loosely so that the diaper (1) is reliably held on the wearer's body when the hook elements (13) are pushed into the loop panel (14).
To remove the diaper (1) from the wearer's body, the outer end (12b) of the support tape (12) is grasped by the finger of the person caring for the child wearing the diaper. It is done in a way
The hook elements (13) are released from the loop panel (14) from the outer end (12b) towards the inner end (12a) corresponding to the outer end (12b).
Referring to Figure (2), the inner end (12a) of the backing strip (12) is tightly bonded to the outer surface of the backing sheet (3) by means of a hot-melt adhesive (15). The C-terminal end (12b) acts as a release area for the anchor strand (10). The hook elements (13) tightly attached to the upper or inner surface of the supporting tape (12) between the inner and outer ends (12a, 12b) include a base plate (16) and a set of hook elements (17) extending from the patch. The base panel in the vertical direction relative to the base panel. The base panel (16) is tightly connected to the supporting strip (12) in an area (20) of this strip, except for the outer end region (18), which is defined by length W and is tightly connected over the width of the base panel (16) (see also Figure (1)), using a hot-melt adhesive (21). The outer end zone (18) defines a loose region relative to the supporting strand (21). There are about 2-02 hook panel elements (17), and preferably about 5-15 of these elements (17) located in every 5 mm of the length of the base panel (16) in both the longitudinal and transverse directions. It also provides an area The outer end (18) has hook elements arranged in 2-02 rows and extending from it transversely. It should be noted that the upper flap (2) and the congenital flap (3) are joined together by means of a hot-melt adhesive (22) along the transversely opposite side edges of the diaper.
Figure (3) shows a side view similar to Figure (5), which represents the case in which the hook elements (13) are compressed in the vertical direction towards the loop panel (14), and it contains a group of loop elements (25) associated with the patch. loop panel (14). In this case, the vertically connected hook panel elements (17) are absolutely inserted into the spaces between the group of ring elements (25). The ring elements (25) are arranged in the vertical direction, so the number of hook panel elements (17) that are effectively connected to the corresponding small number of ring elements (25) is reduced.
Figure (4) represents a schematic diagram showing the situation after moving the fixing bar (10) upward in the vertical direction from its location shown in Figure (3). As shown in the figure, the hook panel elements (17) follow the movement of the tape belt (10), and leave spaces between the ring elements (25), specifically in the area (20) of the hook panel elements (13) linked to the supporting tape (12). In the outer end region (18) (the loose region), the movement of the fixing tape (10) leads to the displacement of the hook panel elements (17) so that they are connected laterally with the corresponding annular elements (25), thus preventing the hook elements (13). From being released away from the loop panel (14). It is clear that the number of rows of hook elements (17) accompanying the outer end zone (18) in the base panel (16) here ranges between 2-20 rows, and based on this, the anchor tape (10) can be positively freed from Reception area (11) without difficulty. As for the clothing with which the fastening system can be used according to the present invention, it includes - in addition to the diaper that is disposed of after use (1) and shown as a typical example of a garment -
On diaper covers, bedwetting pants, sanitary napkins, bandages, and various other types of clothing. It is preferable that the base panel (16) in the hook elements (13) have a flexural strength of less than 0.1 grams as measured by a hardness testing device commercially available under the name GURLEY. Although the patch has been described as hook elements (13), it is attached to the diaper (1) in an interface with the supporting tape (21). However, the hook elements (13) can also be attached directly to the diaper in any desired position. Diaper components, such as the hook elements (13) and loop panel (14), can be attached using a heat welding method coupled with a hot-melt adhesive that provides the appropriate degree of softness.
With the fixation system of the present invention there is no concern that the hook elements could be easily or unintentionally released from the loop patch, even as the hook elements move in the vertical direction away from the loop panel to which they were attached. The outer end zone of the hook elements is left as a loose area relative to the supporting tape to which the remaining part of the hook elements is attached, and the outer end zone is provided with 2-20 rows of hook panels.
