Doublestage intraosseous dental implant
Abstract
medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has conic pericervical part with internal and external thread and threaded apical part. The apical part is designed as self-tapping screw having round groove on the end face. Thread coils are dulled and form plates in horizontal plane. Double-start conical thread is available on the pericervical part, which pitch is selected so that at least two coils of the pericervical thread correspond to one apical part thread coil. Internal implant cone has 7-12 deg large angle. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; prevented dislocation recurrence. 2 cl, 1 dwg

- 1Two stage intraosteal dental implant consisting of a cervical portion of a conical shape with inner and outer thread and a threaded apical portion, characterized in that the apical portion is formed as a self-tapping screw with a groove on the end of a circular shape, wherein the threads are blunted and form a horizontal plane of the plate, and the cervical portion of the implant has a bifilar conical thread pitch, wherein at least two turns of the cervical portion equal to one turn of the thread of the apical portion, the inner cone has an angle of 7-12o. 1.

The invention relates to medicine, namely to the surgical and prosthetic dentistry.
Known two-stage intraosseous dental implant with an internal thread, which has at the apical portion with two opposite sides of the projections and the cervical portion of the cylindrical form [German Patent 4142584, A 61 C 8/00, 1993].
However, when using the implant manifest disadvantages associated with mismatch cervical portion of the tooth implant and wells, as well as bone atrophy in the vertical direction due to insufficient fixation smooth cervical portion of the implant in the bone.
The closest to the invention is a two-stage intraosseous dental implant with internal and external thread, where the apical portion of the implant has a cylindrical shape with a thread and a longitudinal cavity, the cervical part of the conical shape has a small three-way thread, and inside there is a cone with Allen for the fastening of a head [US Patent 5588838 , A 61 C 8/00, 1996].
The disadvantage of this implant is the lack of its fixation in cancellous bone due to the shallow carving a low profile in the apical part of the implant. As a consequence, this implant has a poor resistance to vertical and lateral forces during use of the implant in the posterior bone overload occurs, and is detected by direct implantation poor primary fixation in the socket of the extracted tooth. Moreover, the known implant unaesthetic using anterior dentition if there gingival atrophy and exposing the metal head.
The purpose of this invention is to improve implant fixation and improved aesthetics of dentures.
The goal is achieved by the fact that in the two-stage intraosseous dental implant consisting of the cervical part of the cone-shaped inner and outer thread and the apical part of the thread, the distinguishing feature is that the apical part of the implant is designed as a self-tapping screw thread high profile at the end of which has a round-shaped groove, the cervical portion of the implant has a conical multiple thread, and inside - cone thread for attaching the head.
Typically, the inner cone of the implant has an angle of 7-12 degrees.
This form of the implant facilitates optimal distribution of load in the chewing bone and provides a durable, functional and aesthetic result.
Brief Description of the drawing.
The implant consists of the apical part (1) and the cervical portion (2). The apical part of (1) an implant designed as a self-tapping screws (3) with a blunt thread-profile (4). On the end of the groove has a circular shape (5). Cervical part (2) is conical (6) with a conical double thread low profile (7) with a thread pitch, in which two or more turns of the cervical portion equal to one turn of the thread of the apical portion. Inside implant has a taper (8) and the thread (9) for fixing the head.
The surface of the implant treated with sand blasting.
Due to the high profile of the thread (4) at the apical portion (1) increases initial fixation, increasing the area of support and bearing capacity of the implant in the cancellous bone layer. Wide threads of the forming plate in the horizontal plane, provide resistance to lateral forces. Wide cervical part (2) with a conical thread (7) creates a fixation and reduces the compression load of the cortical bone. The thread of the implant is blunt and does not injure the bone during chewing loads.
Cervical portion of the implant may have a diameter of from 3.5 to 6.5 mm, which allows to choose the implant closest to the diameter of the hole of the tooth. Conical shape of the implant allows for matching the shape of the tooth root implant.
The proposed design allows the implant to improve its fixation in bones, and improves the aesthetics of dentures and can be used for immediate, delayed implantation and reimplantation.
