A medical connector for connecting to a medical access device, comprising:a housing having an inlet, at least one outlet located on the male luer portion of the housing and the channel between the inlet port and at least one outlet;and a resilient sleeve mounted over the male luer portion of the housing and attached thereto at the distal end relative to the outlets, wherein the flexible sleeve comprises a sealing ring adjacent to the housing outlet opening and adapted to seal the outlet ports when the elastic sleeve is in an extended condition;wherein when inserting the male luer portion of the housing in an elastic sleeve medical access device has the ability to compress, forcing the sealing ring to move away from the outlet ports along the male luer portion of the housing, thereby freeing the outlet opening and forming a channel for the passage of fluid through the connector. 9.
