Continuous process for preparing spinning solutions of acryl copolymers

The process, according to the invention, comprises the following steps: a) adding to the polymerization paste leaving the reactor a quantity of solvent, insufficient to attack and dissolve the polymer and in which the polymer / monomer / solvent mixture has a viscosity less than 2 pios; b) bringing the mixture thus obtained to a temperature (T) exceeding the room temperature and lower than 170 degrees C, without another attack of the polymer by the solvent; c) evacuation of at least 30% of the non-reacting monomer or monomers, by means of one or more stages of adiabatic evaporation in vacuo; d) optional addition of an additional amount of solvent until the required concentration of polymers is reached; e) heating the mixture from d) to a temperature not exceeding 170 degrees C, in order to attack and completely dissolve the polymer and f) completing, if necessary, the evacuation of the residual monomer or monomers by evaporation in a thin layer.
