Adjustment of inclination in the system of longwall mining

The subject of the application is a method of monitoring a mining machine for making recesses in a longwall mining system, wherein a mining machine for making grooves includes a combine harvester with a cutting head; this method involves obtaining, with the processor, information on the desired angle of inclination, as well as the CPU receiving the angle of inclination indicating the current position of the longwall shearer in inclination. The method further comprises determining, using the processor, whether the angle of inclination is within the desired range of the inclination angle, and adjusting by the processor the position of the cutting head depending on whether the angle of inclination is in the desired range of the inclination angle. The subject of the application is also a monitoring device for a longwall mining system.
