[0001] The invention relates to a large plastic carrier and a weight receiving bottom on which the underside has legs placed at least in the corner areas and which is surrounded by a double-walled frame, the inner and outer walls of the frame being connected with each other by means of vertical ribs, and in the lower area of the frame there are slat protective profiles respectively between each two legs, the rear side of the protective profile is resting on the inner wall of the frame.
[0002] High-load carriers of this type are known, for example, from German Patent Document 10 2004 049 201. The difficulty underlying the previously known and also high-load carrier according to the invention is that such containers are stacked in several on the second, the lowest container in the stack must hold up to 3t.
[0003] For this reason, such a stack is not raised and lowered by the driver of the lift truck. Instead, it slides the forks under the bottom edge of the lowest container or lowest pallet in the stack and thus moves the stack to the desired location, usually on the rough floor of the hall.
[0004] Of course, there is often damage or destruction to the plastic container or pallet in this area.
[0005] In the previously known container, this problem has been attempted to be counteracted by means of a metal profile bar which is located in the lower region of the container frame between two legs. This previously known profile strip has a U-shaped open front section into which the teeth of the lift truck are to first enter.
[0006] Of course, it may happen that the teeth of the lift truck do not hit the Shaped profile, but penetrate into the bottom of the container above the profile strip and cause damage there.
[0007] The object of the invention is therefore to provide a cost-effective protective profile that prevents the teeth of the lift truck from entering the bottom of the container.
[0008] The invention solves this task according to the characterizing part of claim 1 in that the protective profile is a plastic element on which the longitudinal edge is formed a plug-in strip for insertion in an intermediate space between the inner wall and the outer wall of the frame, and which forms a unit with profile.
[0009] Due to this, the area between the respective protective profile and the underlying container bottom is fastened by means of a plug-in strip, whereby the penetration of the teeth of the lift truck is excluded in this area.
[0010] In addition, the unit from the plug-in strip and protective profile was made by injection molding and therefore cheap, in any case cheaper than the previously mentioned metal profile strip.
[0011] According to claim 2, it is provided that the plug-in strip has slotted recesses to accommodate the ribs connecting the inner and outer walls with each other.
[0012] Therefore, a secure grip is provided within the double-walled frame.
[0013] The attachment of the protective profiles may take place, for example, by means of recesses in the legs into which the profile ends are inserted, after which the leg is mounted on the bottom of the container.
[0014] In addition, it is also possible that the profile consists of a number of individual elements that are bolted or fastened or welded between the ribs inside the frame.
[0015] The protective profile also does not have to consist of individual slats extending from the leg to the leg, but it can be in the form of a frame element running along the perimeter, which is inserted into the above-mentioned recesses in the frame, after which the legs are attached to the bottom of the container.
[0016] Below and based on the drawings, however, for attachment of the protective profiles, a prior art grip in the form of tabs formed on the legs is explained, the tabs snapping into matching recesses at the ends of the profile.
[0017] According to claim 3, it is provided that the protective profile, like the previously known metal profile, has an outwardly U-shaped cross section.
[0018] In a further embodiment according to claim 4, it is provided that the protective profile in cross section has the shape of an inverted L, with the vertical arm L at the end being arched up to the inner wall of the frame.
[0019]
The speech is therefore of an open profile for protection according to that in the area at the bottom where the teeth of the lift truck are prevented from sliding up due to the upper arm L.
[0020] As an additional claim 5, an L-shaped cross-section can also be inserted, which can also be supported by the tabs formed on a given leg. The abovementioned fixing variants can, however, also be used here. The insertion of a metal profile is optional and usually only necessary if the weight to be shifted is particularly heavy.
[0021] Another embodiment is described in claim 6. It has been proposed here that the protective profile in cross-section has an area extending vertically from the plug-in strip, from which at an oblique angle towards the inner wall of the frame runs an oblique area, the end of which has a horizontal area, which rests on the inner wall of the frame, both ribs, which in an unloaded state are spaced from the inner wall of the frame, as well as from the oblique running area.
[0022] The vertically protruding area of the protective profile serves as a contact surface for the teeth of the container lift truck, while the oblique protective area due to its sliding the profile area has resilient properties, which are, however, limited by horizontal ribs serving as a stopper, provides the teeth with a different type of clearance surface, such that the container is slightly raised and tilted, which makes it easier to move.
[0023] A variation of this solution is given by the feature of claim
7, which differs from the previous embodiment only in that the vertical area of the protective profile is abandoned.
[0024] To protect the bottom edge of the outer wall of the frame and as a stop for the teeth of the lift truck according to claim 8, it is provided that a projection extending outwardly relative to the plug-in portion of the strip that adheres to the bottom of the outer wall of the frame.
[0025] In all the embodiments that have been shown up to now, according to claim 9, it is provided that the plug-in strip has an L-shaped cross-section, the vertical arm L adjoins the inner side of the outer wall of the frame, while the horizontal arm L connects the inner outer side and the inner wall, vertical intermediate walls being provided along the entire length of the plug-in strip.
[0026] Thanks to this, the plug-in strip is a lightweight but still stable structural element forming a unit with a protective profile.
[0027] In the case of the protection profiles presented so far, it was assumed that the rear wall of the frame extends lower than the front wall, so that the correct protective profile is visible.
Alternatively, both walls can also have an equal height, so that the protective profile completely disappears in the frame. To set the profile, the recesses in the legs are then used and are attached to the bottom of the tank.
[0028] In the following, the invention is illustrated and explained based on the drawings.
[0029] The figures show:

[0030] Figures 1, 4, 7 and 10 show the corner area of the heavy load carrier, which is generally referred to as reference number 1. The heavy load carrier 1 consists of a bottom 2 which is surrounded by a double-walled frame 3. The structure of the frame 3 results more precisely from Figures 13.
[0031] From the drawing it can also be seen that the rear wall 4 of the frame 3 extends lower than the front wall 5 of the frame.
[0032] Also visible are vertically arranged ribs 6 connecting the front and rear walls together.
In the recess 7 resulting from the different lengths of the front and rear walls, a protective profile 8 is inserted, which at the ends 9 has recesses 10 in which the tongues 11 are formed, which are formed on a leg 13 attached in a side corner area at the bottom.
[0034] The protective profiles 8 of four different embodiments of this invention have all in common that on the upper edge 14 of the respective protective profile 8 a plug-in strip 15 is sprayed, which plugs into the intermediate space 7 between the inner wall 4 and the outer wall 5 of the frame 3. [ As can be seen in Figure 3, vertical recesses 16 are formed on the side of the protective profile of the plug strip 15, which fit into the ribs 6 in the intermediate space 7 of the frame 3.
[0036] As can be seen in the drawing of the rear side of the profile 8, the plug-in strip 16 is provided with a continuous front wall in addition to the recesses 16 which adjoins the inside of the front wall 5 of the frame 3 and with the arm 17 horizontally extending from this front wall, which in the inserted state connects the front wall 5 and rear wall 4. To increase stability, the plug-in strip 15 and the protective profile 8 are reinforced with vertical intermediate walls 18.
[0037] In the Figures, the same parts have the same references, respectively. Only protective profiles 8 with various embodiments are described below. The protective profile 8 shown in Figures 2 and 3 has a roughly U-shaped outwardly open cross-section, with the lower U-arm extending into a rib 19 arranged horizontally and facing towards the rear wall 4. Above this rib 19 a further horizontal rib 20 is provided, which also, like the arm 19, rests on the rear wall 4.
[0038] Figures 5 and 6 show a second variation of the protective profile 8. It is equipped with an arm 21 horizontally directed towards the plug part 15 towards the inner wall 4, which however ends at a distance in front of this inner wall 4 and there passes into the vertical area 22, which at its end arches downwards to the inner wall 4. Also in this embodiment, another horizontal rib 23 is provided for supporting the profile 8 on the inner wall 4.
[0039] For further reinforcement, an L-shaped metal profile 30 can also be inserted into the profile 8, which is held by means of the tabs 11.
[0040] Figures 8 and 9 show a third variant of the protective profile 8, in which a vertical area 24 runs downwards from a portion of the plug strip 15, which at an obtuse angle passes into the oblique area 25, with the slant running towards the inner wall 4. At the end of this oblique area 15 a rib strip is formed extending horizontally to the inner wall 4.
[0041] Both ribs 26 are provided in both the vertical and oblique area, which, however, terminate at a distance in front of the inner wall 4. Due to the elastic properties of the profile material (plastic) when the teeth of the lift truck hit the profile 8, it absorbs some of the energy until the ribs 26 will abut the inner wall 4.
[0042] Finally, Figures 11 and 12 show a fourth variation, which differs from the third variant only in that the vertical area 24 is omitted. Both embodiments have a common feature in the form of an outwardly projecting projection 27 which is at the transition of the profile 8 to the part of plug-in strip 15 and adjoins the bottom edge of the outer wall 5 of the frame 3.
