[0001] The subject of the invention is a wiper blade with a flat beam structure according to the preamble of claim 1.
[0002] DE 10 2006 020 524 A1 discloses such a wiper blade according to the preamble of claim 1. Its wiping blade has a relatively wide (upper slat) head in which a longitudinal channel is provided for receiving a spring rail with a cross-section close to rectangular . The spring rail, together with part of the upper rail, is covered by the spoiler retaining profile, whose free arms facing each other enter the upper rail (rail head) into the lateral longitudinal grooves below the spring rail. On the reverse side of the vehicle side of the spring rail, a further longitudinal channel is arranged in the spoiler for accommodating a second spring rail with a cross-section similar to a rectangular one. In addition, from the longitudinal side of the spoiler edge in the area of the rake profile (front profile) another longitudinal channel is provided, which serves to save material. To facilitate installation, the longitudinal channel provided in the spoiler has a longitudinal slot from the upper strip side for placing a second spring rail. The spoiler in the area of the rake profile is made of a softer material than in the area of its retaining profile, the dividing surface extends below the second spring rail towards the upper bar.
[0003] EP-A-1627787 discloses the preamble of the claim
1.
Disclosure of the Invention [0004] According to the invention, the top bar is free of spring rails. The spoiler arms can completely enter the longitudinal grooves of the wiper strip head. The parts forming the longitudinal grooves of the upper slat, intended for positioning the spoiler retaining profile, are made of a material harder than the wiping edge and / or the tilting bridge. The shape of the wiper blade according to the invention makes it possible to obtain a very narrow shape of the upper strip, so that a very narrow wiper blade is formed, which in its width is not defined by the spring rail placed in the upper strip, but by the desired flow parameters on the spoiler. The required shape and execution of the supporting elements in the form of spring rails are adapted to the external shape of the spoiler. The spring rails adapt in cross-section to the internal contour of the longitudinal ducts available, if possible taking into account the technical requirements regarding the elastic properties of the spring rails. Thus, preferably, one or more elastic rails may be arranged in parallel, one above the other and / or next to each other, of which the rails at least one in the cross section deviates from the shape of the rectangle and on the leading side (front side) follows in the outline of its cross section internal outline of the assigned longitudinal channel. This allows the spoiler profile to be used close to the longitudinal allowance for placing the spring rail. Basically, trapezoidal or triangular cross-sections are formed, the sides of which can also be curved.
[0005] To ensure the mobility of the spring rails in the longitudinal channels relative to the spoiler, without noise or jamming of the spring rails, it is advantageous if the spaces between the spring rails and the longitudinal channels are filled with porous rubber or soft rubber.
[0006] Other advantages result from the following description of the drawing. The drawing shows embodiments of the invention. The drawing, description and claims contain numerous features in combination. The skilled person will advantageously consider the features separately and combine them into purposeful other combinations.
[0007] They depict:
Fig. 1 a side view of a wiper blade according to the invention which rests against the windshield of a vehicle, Fig. 2 a cross-section according to line II-II in Fig. 1, and Fig. 3 to Fig. 6 variants according to Fig.
2.
0008] The flat beam wiper blade 10 is made of wiper strip 14, spoiler 32 and at least one elastic rail 46. At the ends of the wiper blade 10 there are end caps 58 that limit the relative movement of the wiper strip 14 of spring rail 46 and spoiler 32 in longitudinal direction relative to each other. In the central area of the wiper blade 10 a connection element 12 is attached to the wiper blade 10. It is used to articulate with a wiper arm not shown in detail. The wiper blade 10 is in an unloaded curved concave toward the windscreen 16 of the vehicle, so that it adheres at its ends to the windscreen 16 of the vehicle. In the loaded state, the wiping strip 14 is pressed along its entire length with appropriate pressure against the windscreen 16 of the vehicle.
[0009] Wiping strip 14 includes a wiping edge 18 that is connected to the tilting bridge 20 to the upper slat 22. Between the tilting bridge 20 and the upper slat 22, lateral stop strips 28 are provided which favor the transfer of the wiping edge 18 in the wiper blade 10 turning positions while wiping.
[0010] The upper strip 22 has lateral longitudinal grooves 24 in which the retaining profile 38 of the spoiler 32 enters. For this purpose, the L-shaped arms 40 on the longitudinal sides of the retaining profile 38 are used, each of which is connected by one arm to the rake profile 34 of the spoiler 32 , while the free arms 42 are directed inwards and enter into the longitudinal grooves 24. The longitudinal grooves form a bridge 26 between them. The part of the upper bar 22 that connects to the upper side, opposite to the wiping edge 18, is called the rear bar 30 and covered by the retaining profile 38 of the spoiler 32.
[0011] The upper strip 22 is preferably made by means of a multi-component extrusion method of a harder material than the other wiping strip 14, namely the wiping edge 18 and the stop strips 28. In this way, between the retaining profile 38 of the spoiler and the upper strip 22, low friction is generated due to low wear . In addition, due to the higher strength, the upper strip 22 can be very narrow.
[0012] The rake profile 34 joining to the retainer profile 38 is made of a softer material than the retainer profile 38. Preferably, the spoiler 32 is manufactured by multi-component extrusion. The rake profile 34 has a basic cross section similar to a right triangle, the right angle being on the side facing the retaining profile 38. On the opposite side, the spoiler 32 runs together with a narrow longitudinal allowance 36. Exposed to wind caused by driving, the outer surfaces of the rake profile 34 can be formed concave or convex, depending on the desired flow parameters, on the spoiler 32 on the rake side and / or the runoff side.
[0013] The rake profile 34 of the spoiler 32 has at least one first longitudinal channel 44 in which the first spring rail 46 is arranged. It preferably has a flat, rectangular cross-section. While the first longitudinal channel 44 in the embodiment according to Fig. 2 is closed, in the embodiment according to Fig. 3 the first longitudinal channel 50 is open from the side of the rear slat 30, so that the first elastic rail 46 can be adjacent to the rear slat 30 of the upper slat 22. In both embodiments, a second longitudinal channel 48 is located above the first elastic rail 46 from the side of the longitudinal allowance 36, whose internal contour is similar to the external profile of the rake profile 34. The second longitudinal channel 48 may additionally be used to place the next the second spring rail 52, 54 or may as a single longitudinal channel 44, 50 accommodate the spring rail 52, 54 according to the embodiments of Figs. 4 to 6. The second spring rails 52, 54 adapt at least partially, if the desired and required elastic properties of the spring rails 52, 54 allow, to the inner contour of the second longitudinal channel 48. Thus, the second spring rail 6a 52 according to Fig. 4 has a substantially trapezoidal cross-section lateral, while the second spring rail 54 according to Fig.
and Fig. 6 has a substantially triangular cross-section. In order to allow some relative movement during wiping between the spring rails 46, 52, 54 and the second longitudinal channels 44, 48, it is preferred to fill the space between the second spring rail 46, 52, 54 and the longitudinal channels 44, 48 with porous rubber or soft rubber. This configuration is exemplified in Fig. 6. The rubber or soft rubber 56 allows, on the one hand, a small longitudinal travel required at different radii of curvature, but at the same time prevents the formation of noise due to contact with the walls of the longitudinal channel.
[0014] The first and second spring rails 46, 52, 54 and associated first and second longitudinal channels 44, 48, 50 shown in Figs. 2 to 6 can be used separately in the wiper blade 10 or in combination with each other.
