Method of and network for detection by means of current loop

Abstract

The invention relates to a method and a circuit arrangement for sensing objects; the detector element used here is a Single or multiple winding (loop) of any format and is suitable for sensing of electrically conductive materials. The invention is intended to avoid that, when the object to the measured parameters (for. Example, the inductance of the loop) only slightly affected, the duration of the measurement of the absolute value is restricted or the reliability of the measurement is impaired. The eddy current Schleifendedektor realized the measurement in a three-stage cycle:1. With a through a loop (H) led DC a permanent magnetic field is energized, which penetrates partially into the conductive object (L).2. After switching off the current of the rapid flow of the selbstinduktiven transient event in the loop (H) is ensured.3. The change in the measuring loop (H) flowing part of in the electrically conductive object (L) maintained by the eddy currents, slowly decreasing flow is perceived and evaluated, according to the output of one of the distance of the object (L) or its quality corresponding logical information is supplied. By the repetition of the cycle described at the desired frequency of the eddy current detector for continuously measuring the position of the object (L) may be used.
