Description of the invention
The subject of the invention is an electrical equipment box.
The box can be a fixed output box for the installation or a box that slides along a tray for routing cables or electric wires.
It can also be a box projecting on the wall, powered by cables, also protruding on the wall, with or without a wire.
The openings of such a box are generally oblong in shape.
It is known, in particular from patent documents Nos. EP 0 508 175 and FR 2 809 543, a box which has a bottom provided with an opening of an elongated shape in the X direction for fixing said box to a wall.
Although the oblong holes make it possible to adjust the position of the box when it is mounted on the wall in order to align the oblong holes with the punctured holes provided in the wall, there are occasions that the error in positioning the punctured hole provided in the wall with respect to the oblong hole provided in the bottom of the box will be too great to could be accommodated by this elongated hole.
The bottoms of the box generally have at least four holes, suggesting that corresponding four holes are punched in the wall on which the box is to be placed.
Furthermore, from EP 1096630 a support for electrical equipment is known including an opening in at least one projection connected to the bracket for securing the equipment in a cable tray. The device disclosed in EP 1096630 enables the sliding of electrical equipment fixed in the tray from one side of the tray to the other side of the tray. The projection extends from the support into the space, extending into the area of the tray where the electrical equipment is to be located.
Electrical equipment box comprising a bottom provided with at least one opening shaped elongated in the X direction for fixing the box to a wall, said opening being located in a projection connected to said bottom by a flexible connection enabling the opening to be easily displaced parallel to the plane bottoms in the Y direction perpendicular to said X direction with respect to the fixed starting position, according to the invention are characterized by: that said projection extends freely in an opening situated in said bottom and is connected via said flexible connection to the edge of said opening.
The flexible connection pivots in the plane of the bottom and the position of each opening is variable depending on the deflection of the flexible connection.
At each projection there is a thin wall which extends from the edge of the opening opposite the edge to which the projection is connected by a flexible connection below the projection such that the thin wall encloses a part of said opening, the thin wall having a free edge trimmed in this way, that when the projection is displaced relative to its fixed starting position, it abuts said thin wall in order to lay it flat against the wall for securing the box.
Each protrusion is provided on both sides of said flexible connection with stops which abut a portion of said bottom to bring the flat-said bottom to the wall.
Each protrusion is one piece with said associated flexible connection.
Each flexible connection is formed by a flexible tab which extends in the X direction of each opening perpendicular to the edge of said bottom.
Each flexible tab is integrally formed with said bottom.
Each hole is oblong in shape.
According to the invention, the flexible connection connecting the projection provided with an opening to the bottom of said box makes it possible to easily change the centering of said opening, which makes it possible to adjust its position, in a direction transverse to its longitudinal direction, with respect to a pierced opening made in the wall receiving the box.
The subject of the invention has been shown in the examples of the drawing, in which fig. 1 shows diagrammatically in top view the plate forming the bottom of the electrical equipment box according to the invention, fig. 2 - diagrammatically, in sectional view along the plane BB made at the level of a certain opening the plate with Fig. 1, Fig. 3 are schematic perspective views of three
The fourth plate of FIGS. 1, FIGS. 4A to 4C is schematic front view, three different opening positions of one variant of the FIG. 1 panel and FIGS. 5A to 5C are schematic front views of three different positions of the hole in the plate of Fig. 1
Figures 1 and 3 show the plate 100 forming the bottom of the electrical equipment box.
The plate here is square in shape and is intended to receive a closing skirt (not shown), the rim of which is adapted to the rim 101 of said plate 100.
The plate is provided on two parallel edges 101A and 101B with clips 102 for ratcheting the closure shell.
The plate 100 is intended to be attached to a wall (not shown) at the exit of a fixed electrical installation or along a cable or electrical cable tray.
The plate 100 shown in Figs. 1 and 3 has protruding pillars 104, at the apex of which are provided for mounting, for example by means of a clamp, an electrical equipment support 105.
The columns 104 are connected by two baffles 104 'rising perpendicular to said plate. These partitions 104 'define between them sockets for electrical equipment mounted on electrical equipment supports 105, clamped on the tops of columns 104.
The plate 100 has notches 103 in front of each electrical equipment socket located on a circle of the circle.
When this plate 100 is intended to be mounted on the output of a fixed electrical installation, the notches 103 are broken off by the installer so as to create entry holes for electrical wires or cables inside the box for connection to the electrical equipment in question mounted on electrical equipment supports.
In addition, on the other edge 101C of the plate 100 (perpendicular to the edges 101A, 101B), arrangements 108, 109 are provided for assembling a canopy for connecting the inside of the box to the inside of the base of the tray when said plate is positioned along the tray.
These arrangements include, on the one hand, a platform 108 extending in the plane P of the plate 100 protruding from said edge 101C, and on the other hand, two columns 109 rising perpendicular to the plane P of the plate 100, disposed on both sides of said platform 108 and having an oblong opening forming a grooved center. for insertion of a visor, not shown, in its place.
The plate forming the bottom 100 of the box preferably has at least one hole, in this case four holes 200, for securing the box to a wall.
Each opening 200 is located near a corner of the plate 100. Each opening 200 is elongated in the X direction. These openings 200 are arranged in pairs along the same line so that they extend towards each other along the X direction and are, in this case, oblong in shape.
As can be seen in particular in Fig. 2 in a cross-sectional view, each opening 200 of the plate 100 has a cross-section which is narrowing due to the fact that its peripheral wall 200 'has a funnel-shaped profile ending in a cylindrical cross section corresponding to the diameter of the shaft of the organ to the end. fastening the box anchoring to said wall through said opening 200.
The funnel-shaped profile of the peripheral wall 200 'of each opening 200 facilitates the engagement of each securing element within each opening to secure the plate 100 to the respective wall.
Each opening 200 belongs to a projection 201 connected to said plate of the box 100 by a flexible connection 202 enabling said opening 200 to be easily displaced parallel to the plane P of the plate 100 in the Y direction perpendicular to said direction X with respect to the fixed starting position shown more fully in Figures 4A and 5A.
As can be seen in Figures 4B, 4C, 5B and 5C, said displacement of each opening 200 is carried out by rotating flexible connection 202 in the P plane (XY plane) of said plate 100.
Each flexible connection 202 connecting the projection 201 to the plate 100 is here formed by a flexible tab which extends perpendicular to the edge 101A or 101B of the plate 100.
Each protrusion 201 is formed together with said associated flexible connection 202 which itself comes from molding by pressing the plastic together with said plate 100.
PL 215 415 B1
More specifically, each protrusion 201 is located on the free end of said flexible tongue forming the flexible connection 202 and extends into the plate 100.
To do this, each protrusion 201 provided with an opening 200 extends freely in an opening 106 located in the plate 100 and is connected via said flexible connection 202 to the periphery 106B of said opening 106.
Each opening 106 here is generally Ω-shaped, the edge 106B of said opening 106 to which the projection 201 is connected by said flexible connection 202 is parallel to the edge 101A or 101B of the plate 100.
In addition, as can be seen in greater detail in Figures 1, 4A to 4C and 5A to 5C, each protrusion 201 is provided on both sides of the flexible connection 202 with stops 203 which extend along the general Y direction in the rectangular portion of the opening 106. The stops 203 come from from molding by pressing the plastic together with each protrusion 201.
These stops 203 may abut a portion 106C of the plate 100 of the box to lay the plate flat against the wall.
As can be seen in Figures 4B, 4C and 5B, 5C, the angular offset α of each protrusion 201 is approximately 6 degrees on either side of the X direction.
This displacement is achieved by bending each flexible tongue forming a flexible connection 202 between the plate 100 and a corresponding projection 201 provided with an opening 200.
Moreover, according to the embodiment shown in Figs. 1 and 3, as well as in Figs. 5A, 5B and 5C, a thin wall 107 is provided for each protrusion 201, which extends from an edge 106A of said opening 106, opposite to the edge 106B. to which said projection 201 is attached via said flexible connection 202, below said projection 201 such that it closes off a portion of said opening 106.
Each thin wall 107 has a roundly cut free edge 107A with a central groove 107'A for receiving the end of a projection 201 provided with an opening 200.
This central groove 107Ά is provided there mainly in connection with the removal from the mold of one element forming the plate 100 provided with the projections 201.
The free edge 107A of the thin wall 107 is trimmed such that when said protrusion 201 is moved from its fixed home position (see Figures 5B and 5C) it will abut the thin wall 107 to lay it flat against the wall for mounting the box.
In this way, as shown in Figures 4A through 4C and 5A through 5C, each opening 200 of the box plate 100 can assume a set position depending on the position of a punctured hole made in a wall for securing the box to coincide with the punctured hole.
Thus, by moving the opening 200 relative to its fixed starting position as shown in Figures 4A and 5A, an additional degree of freedom is obtained in the Y direction to the direction defined by the elongation of the opening 200 in the X direction.
In a configuration where each opening 200 is displaced from a fixed starting position shown in Figures 4A and 5A, e.g. a left or right displaced position shown in Figures 4B, 4C and 5B, the fastening member extends through the opening 200 and anchored in the wall, for example a bolt organ, allows the projection 201 to be locked in position, the stops 203 abutting against the plate portion 106C.
In addition, in accordance with the embodiments shown in Figures 5B and 5C, when the protrusion 201 assumes an offset position with respect to the X axis, its free end opposite the stops 203 abuts the thin wall 107 flattening it against the wall to be fastened.
The invention is by no means limited to the solutions described and presented herein, and a person skilled in the art will be able to reduce to it any variant consistent with the idea thereof.
In particular, it will be possible to envisage, according to a variant not shown here, that the bottom of the box is formed together with its side walls thus forming a single element. In this case, the end cover is substantially flat and conforms to the upper edges of said side walls rising perpendicularly from the bottom.
