Description of the invention
The present invention relates to a rock drill to be mounted such that it can be maneuvered relative to a feed beam, and to a mounting frame that is part of the rock drill.
In mining, rock drilling equipment is used in which there are one or more booms on the movable platform, and there is a feed beam and rock drill at the free ends of the booms. In the prior art, one of which is shown in Fig. 1, the rock drill is formed by combining the rotary device 2 and the percussion device 3 into a single object by means of connecting bolts 1 or by other means. This type of rock drill is typically connected by a bolted joint through the lugs 4 in the shell of the rock drill to a carriage 5 which can move along the longitudinal axis of the feed beam 6 by means of power elements such as power lines and hydraulic cylinders driving them. The approximation of the rock drill is achieved by moving the carriage and the associated rock drill along the top surface of the feed beam, the drill being supported by sliding blocks 7 provided on the carriage. In rock drilling, great forces are created when the rock drill is pressed against the rock during drilling, and then as the impact of the percussion device bounces off the object in which it is being drilled, along the structure of the drill rod back to the rock drill. These forces pose problems in terms of the durability of rock drill structures. Since current rock drills are made of blocks mounted together by means of engagement surfaces in between, these surfaces always exhibit small movements, causing wear and deformation of the surface. As a result, it may be necessary to discontinue use of the rock drill in order to carry out its maintenance, although neither the rotary device nor the percussion device requires repair. This causes additional production downtime and additional costs. In addition, since the forces directed at the rock drill are transmitted through the jacket of the drill to the carriage, the jacket should be bulky.
US publication No. 4,842,079 discloses a rock drill whose body has cylindrical chambers. In this case, the impact device and the rotary device are packets which are locked inside the chamber by end caps. These packages must be of a certain shape and dimensions to enter their chambers, to lock in place with end covers, and to function. In addition, these packages need to be installed in the chamber to work. In general, the packages must also be accurately positioned in the chamber so that the necessary pressurized fluid lines can be connected between the chamber and the package, which allows the device to function.
The object of the invention is to provide a new type of rock drill and mounting frame for mounting the rock drill in such a way as to overcome the problems of the known solutions.
A rock drill that can be mounted so that it can be maneuvered relative to a feed beam, the rock drills comprising a rotating device and an impact device, and a mounting frame for mounting the rotating device and the impact device, the mounting frame including an axial support by which the mounting frame is constructed to receive the feed and rebound forces directed at the rock drill and transfer them to the feeding beam and feeding device, the mounting frame is mounted in the feed beam by means of sliding blocks attached to the mounting frame, according to the invention characterized in that at least the rotary device or percussion device of the rock drill is a replaceable module and the axial support of the mounting frame has at least one engagement surface to which the replaceable module is mounted and properly disassembled without dismantling the construction of the drill.
Preferably, the mounting frame includes two longitudinal beams parallel to the feed beam, and the mounting frame includes an axial support positioned between the beams, the axial support being a plate member provided with coupling surfaces on both sides for mounting the rotating device module and, respectively, the percussion device module.
Preferably, the body of the rotary device is part of the mounting frame, and an impact device mounting surface is provided on the impact device side of the rotary device body, whereby the axial support is formed by the body of the rotary device and the engagement surface.
PL 192 606 B1
Preferably, the axial support comprises an axial abutment constructed to receive and dampen axial forces acting on the drill.
A mounting frame which is part of the rock drill and which includes means for connecting the rotary device to the percussion device belonging to the rock drill, and the mounting frame is fitted with sliding blocks to allow the mounting frame and the entire rock drill to be maneuvered with respect to the feed beam according to the invention is characterized in that the mounting frame comprises at least one engagement surface, to which the replaceable module of the rotary device and / or the percussion device is mounted.
Preferably, the mounting frame comprises means for fastening the application elements.
Preferably, the mounting frame comprises two substantially parallel longitudinal beams spaced apart from each other, and a plate-type axial support on both sides of which there are engagement surfaces for mounting an interchangeable rotating device module or percussion device, the axial support being interposed between the longitudinal beams in approximately at the center, and the engagement surfaces are substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal beams.
Preferably, the mantle of the rotary device forms part of the structure of the mounting frame.
The basic concept of the invention is that the rock drill comprises a rotary device and an impact device, at least one of which is a replaceable module. Another concept of the invention is that the rock drill includes a mounting frame on which the rotary device and the percussion device are mounted, and they are mounted in such a way that the rotary device, the percussion device and the mounting frame together constitute a drill. The mounting frame consists of beams parallel to the feed beam to which the skid shoes are attached, and an axial transverse support to the beams by which the swivel device and the percussion device are mounted to the mounting frame. Forces to move the drill act on the mounting frame, and accordingly the frame receives the forces directed from the drill rod to the drill and transmits them to the feeding device. Moreover, the main concept of a preferred embodiment according to the invention is that on both sides of the plate axle support there are connecting surfaces for the rotary device and, respectively, for the percussion device. Thus, both the rotary device and the percussion device can be simply interchangeable modules. The essential concept of another preferred embodiment of the invention is that the body of the rotary device is part of a mounting frame. The axial support is then made of a shell of the rotary device and a connecting surface at its rear end, on which connecting surface an impact device can be mounted.
An advantage of the invention is that, due to the presence of the mounting frame, the feeding and returning forces directed at the rock drill can be better regulated than before, since they are advantageously transmitted via the mounting frame directly to the feed beam and to the conveying elements of the drill machines therein. This makes it possible to avoid damage and wear caused by these forces in the drill structures and on the connecting surfaces of the various blocks of the drill. Moreover, an advantage of the invention is that it is no longer necessary to use a separate carriage between the feed beam and the drill, but, due to the presence of the mounting frame, the rock drill can be placed directly on the feed beam. Since such a trolley is redundant, it also does not have to be manufactured. The whole structure becomes simpler and more durable. A further advantage of the invention is that the mounting frame allows the formation of a modular drill. In this way, it is possible to conveniently change the percussion device and / or the rotary device in the drill by means of the coupling surface of the mounting frame. Thereafter, different rotating devices and percussion devices with different nozzles and properties can be combined to achieve the best possible combination for each purpose. It is now possible to manufacture certain basic modules which can then be combined for different applications. Thus, the production costs are significantly reduced compared to having to build separate structures for each application. Since a damaged or maintenance-requiring module can be quickly removed at the same time, even on the drilling site without having to disassemble the entire structure and replace it with a functional module, the operation and maintenance of the drill becomes much easier. In the solutions known to date, either the entire drill has to be replaced or disassembled for maintenance operations, while now, thanks to the design according to the invention, there is no need to disconnect or disassemble the entire drill, but only have to disconnect the damaged module. The service procedures for the rotary device and the percussion device usually differ due to the different design and operating principle. On
The maintenance intervals on these units are also influenced by their use. Thus, the rotating device and the percussion device do not need to be damaged, nor need maintenance at the same time, so thanks to the invention it is possible to service only the module in need of repair. Then the damaged, replaced module can be serviced under better conditions and reused later. This solution also helps to avoid maintenance interruptions and associated costs, as a damaged rock drill can now be quickly restored to a usable condition. In summary, it is possible to avoid problems caused by feed and rebound forces directed at the drill, to provide a simpler cartless design, to market, due to the modular design, efficient rock drills for all needs, and to create significant savings due to ease of maintenance and repair work, and shorter maintenance intervals.
The subject of the invention is shown in the drawing in which fig. 1 shows a solution known from the prior art, fig. 2 - a rock drill according to the invention, in a schematic perspective view, fig. 3 - a rock drill fig. 2 in a schematic front view, and fig. 4 the same structure from the side, fig. 5a - the structure of a possible mounting frame seen from the side of the pivot device, schematically, and fig. 5b, the same mounting frame as seen from the percussion device side, and Fig. 6, a second mounting frame according to the invention, and a rock drill formed around it, in a schematic perspective view.
Figure 1 shows a prior art solution referenced in the prior art section on page 1.
Figure 2 shows schematically a rock drill according to the invention for the sake of clarity. At the front end of the rock drill, there is a rotary device 2 for rotating the drill rod and the drill bit coupled thereto. The drill also includes a percussion device 3 that produces impacts that intensify the drilling. The operation and construction of the rotating device 2 and the impact device 3 are well known in the art and therefore do not need to be described in detail here. In the embodiment shown in the figure, the rotating device 2 and the percussion device 3 are separate modules that are mounted by fastening bolts 8a to 8h, or similar fasteners, to the axial support 14 of the mounting frame 9 on the joint surfaces 18 in the axial support 14. The module mounted on the engagement surface 18 of the axial support 14 has its own body. It is then sufficient that the module is only supported on the engagement surface 18 of the axial support 14. Compared with various package replaceable parts, this type of module is easy and quick to replace in one piece. Moreover, since the module has its own body and outer jacket, it is easy to maneuver, for example during replacement or maintenance. The mounting frame 9 is an essential part of the drill structure as without the mounting frame the modules cannot be used for drilling. The drill is placed by means of the mounting frame 9 directly on the feed beam 40 of the rock drill in such a way that it can be maneuvered relative to it and without a separate carriage. To the lower surface of the mounting frame 9, sliding blocks 10a and 10b or the like are attached to act as bearing elements between the mounting frame 9 and the feed beam 40. Such a slide block generally includes a body and a replaceable wear liner 50. Preferably, the shoes are the slideways 10a, 10b are attached by a screw joint or the like so that they can be conveniently replaced when the wear inserts 50 are worn out. The figure also shows a lug 11 at the front end of the mounting frame 9 to which is attached a power line 60 or the like intended to transmit the thrust force from the hydraulic cylinder or corresponding actuator to the mounting frame 9. The rear end of the mounting frame 9, respectively, on both of it. sides, there are pins 12 or the like to which elements can be connected with which the drill is pulled back. For the sake of clarity, the rotating device 2, the impact device 3 and the sliding shoes 10a, 10b are shown separately from the mounting frame 9.
Figure 3 shows the drill of Figure 2 in an end view, i.e. a view from the drill pipe side. Correspondingly, Fig. 4 shows a side view of the drill. As can be seen in these figures, the lug 11 and pins 12 necessary for moving the drill are placed on the mounting frame 9 by means of transverse supports 11a and 12a between the beams. These supports can simultaneously support the beams to each other.
PL 192 606 B1
Figure 5a shows the mounting frame 9 in a front view and in Figure 5b in a rear view. As previously stated, the mounting frame 9 forms a drill frame to which the rotary device 2 and the percussion device 3 are mounted. The mounting frame 9 acts as a force transmitting element and a mounting platform for the modules. Preferably, the mounting frame 9 consists of bars 13a and 13b extending parallel to the feed bar 40. The mounting frame 9 also includes an axial support 14 arranged on the beams 13a, 13b, which, in the example shown in the figure, is a plate member placed transversely between the beams 13a, 13b. The axial support 14 is approximately perpendicular to the beams 13a and 13b and preferably rests on the beams 13a, 13b by curvilinear or triangular sections, whereby the axial support 14 ensures that the feed and rebound forces are correctly transferred to each other. The axial support 14 also connects the beams 13a, 13b to each other. The beams 13a and 13b preferably include upwardly directed supports at the axial support 14, to which the plate-like axial support 14 is then permanently welded or can be detached by a combination of clamping a mold and a bolted connection. Naturally, the mounting frame 9 can also be made by casting, in which case it is a unitary piece. The axial support 14 has holes for mounting bolts 8a to 8f. Moreover, naturally there is a hole therein through which the impact generated by the impact device is transferred to the drill shank either directly by the piston or by a pin extending therefrom. There may be a tapered fitting in the opening to facilitate the installation of the modules.
The swivel device 2 is attached to the mounting frame 9 by means of bolts 8a to 8d passing through the axial support 14 and bolts 8e and 8f screwed onto the axial support 14. The percussion device 3 is also fixed by bolts 8a to 8d and bolts 8g and 8 h onto an axial support 14. Thus, the screws 8 to 8d connect the rotating device 2, the percussion device 3 and the mounting frame 9 to each other. Thus, disconnecting the rotary device 2 or the percussion device 3 requires the unscrewing of the fastening screws 8a to 8d. After unscrewing the bolts 8a to 8d, the modules remain in place until the module-specific bolts 8e and 8f and 8g and 8h, respectively, are unscrewed. Thus, these modules are separately detachable from the chassis 9. Naturally, these modules could also be attached in other ways and other types of appropriate fastening elements could be used for this.
Figure 5a shows in detail an axial stop 15 embedded preferably in the mounting frame 9, which stop is intended to suppress shocks, i.e. bouncing of the percussion device 3 moving away from the object in which to be drilled. The axial thrust 15 comprises pistons disposed in the cylinder chambers 16 formed in the wheel, which pistons are connected in such a way that, under the action of rebound forces, they can move backwards in the cylinder chambers, simultaneously forcing hydraulic fluid into the hydraulic fluid space connected to the rear part of the cylinder chambers, the hydraulic fluid space also being connected to a pressure accumulator or the like. Axial abutment 15 may be stationary with respect to axial support 14, but is preferably a separate, easily detachable and replaceable component that is housed in an axial support in a housing intended for it and locked in place by, for example, a locking screw. Figures 5a and 5b also show that recesses 17 can be provided on the lower surfaces of the beams of the mounting frame 9 in order to firmly fix the sliding blocks 10a, 10b.
Figure 6 shows a second preferred use of the rock drill and mounting frame according to the invention. In this solution, the mounting frame 9 comprises a U-shaped beam with the body of the rotating device 2 positioned at its closed end. Moreover, on the shell of the rotary device 2, facing the percussion device 3, a coupling surface 18 for mounting the percussion device 3 is formed. In this solution, the mantle of the rotating device 2 and the joint surface 18 form the axial support 14 of the mounting frame 9. As in the solutions described in Figs. 2 to 5, also in this solution, sliding blocks 10a, 10b are attached to the lower surface of the mounting frame 9. Elements for connecting the feed elements can also be embedded in the frame. The device inside the shell of the rotating device 2 can be replaced by opening the front of the rotating device 2. The percussion device 3, on the other hand, is a module that can be conveniently replaced as a whole. The structure shown is suited to solutions where it is necessary to provide the possibility of using various percussion devices in a rock drill.
The purpose of the drawing and the related description is merely to illustrate the concept of the invention. The invention can be varied in detail within the scope of the claims. The external dimensions of the modules to be mounted on the connecting surface of the axial support,
May vary. It is sufficient that the coupling surfaces of the module and the axle support match and that the external dimensions of the module to be mounted do not interfere with the use of the rock drill. Thus, the solution allows the use of modules that differ in outlet elements, properties and dimensions depending on the intended use of the rock drill. Even in the case where only the current beam-structured mounting frames are shown in the figures and their description, the structure, of course, may also be of a different type. For example, the mounting frame can be made with a plate base to which, depending on the structure, a transverse plate axial support or an axial support formed by the body of the rotary device and its engagement surface is attached. It is also possible that both the percussion device and the rotary device are arranged on one side of the axial support.
