Description
State of the art
The invention relates to a method for producing a resealable packaging preferably of a coil-shaped plastic material, such as polyethylene, polystyrene or polypropylene foil, which has a plastic or paper foil carrier layer and has a closing flap that extends across the opening in the packaging, said closing flap or opening of the packaging may again adhere to the packaging material, to reclose the packaging, as well as how the packaging works.
Packaging, in particular for food, stimulants and the like, is kept sealed from the surroundings and requires effective gas-tight protection in the form of a barrier layer.
An example of food products that are hermetically stored is cheese containing scraped cheese, sliced cheese and cheese block - but also products such as tea, coffee, chips, candies and the like.
It is known to make packages with an "introduced" barrier layer, but is usually broken when the package is opened. Therefore, it is desirable to have a package that is airtight and has an opening that can be closed by means such as a flap or label which, following opening, can be re-adhered to the package itself and thus reseal less or more tightly.
An example of such a resealable package is known from US 2004/0011677 A1. This packaging is equipped with an adhesive label coated internally with an adhesive that allows it to be re-attached to the packaging after opening. However, during use, it will be difficult to avoid getting your fingers touching the adhesive on the inside of the label, which will inevitably worsen stickiness, which can be damaged even by a small ingress of, for example, dust, grease or the like.
In addition, deterioration of tack by touch creates the risk that the substance contained in the package will settle on the reclosed adhesive when the substance is emptied from the package through the inner sides of the label.
Object of the invention
The object of the invention is to prevent these many drawbacks, and this is to be achieved by the method according to the invention, in which the groove is first imprinted in the packaging material corresponding to the opening, said packaging material being a laminate, which on the inside consists of a heat-sealing film, a layer adhesive resealable, optionally a layer equipped with a print and a barrier film with a varnish coating / weld on the outside followed by a piece of foil welded across the groove to provide the flap, said flap being a laminate, which on the outside consists of a foil optionally a layer equipped with overprint, the reclosable adhesive layer and the foil in which the adhesive layer of hot melt adhesive / PSA has been reclosed, and finally from a varnish coating / welding or heat-sealable film on the inside, whereupon, in a generally known manner, the web of material is shaped, then equipped with its contents and sealed by welding to form the final package.
As a result, the packaging can be manufactured using conventionally used machines and materials and with the greatest possible guarantee of no leakage in the final package.
As a result, the packaging can be used as a packaging for food products, stimulants that will be protected against the effects of weather conditions.
When, as it results from p. 2, the package will be subjected to the action of tugging the flap, the position of the reclosable binder will be changed, as is the case in the original welding applied, it will move from the flap to the area around the package itself. The reclosable binder will still remain on the package and will not be too much exposed when the flap is opened and closed, similarly the contents of the package in the package will not be in direct contact with the reclose binder after emptying.
In addition, the barrier layer will remain broken, but not intact, because it will still remain adhered to the flap and, consequently, during opening and closing, thereby constituting the closed barrier layer.
Finally, it is indicated as disclosed in claim 3 fix the flap along its edge, which is a fold line, after welding together with the packaging and after filling.
Drawings
An exemplary package according to the invention will be described in more detail with reference to the drawing, in which Fig. 1 shows a perspective view of the final form of the package with an open flap to illustrate the structure before opening

Description of the embodiment
The drawing shows an example of a flexible bag and package that can look and be used to package food and the like that does not tolerate exposure to the weather.
An example of this type of product is scraped cheese and other products that either do not tolerate oxidation or should be protected against the penetration of odors to ensure that the taste or smell of the ingredients is not impaired.
The packaging is made of foil, as indicated in the sectional view in Figs. 4 - 6, which shows how the opened and closed flap 4 is itself mounted on the packaging bag.
As shown in Figs. 1-3, the closing flap 4 is attached across the opening 6 in the bag, which can be closed again as shown in Fig. 3, so that the contents of the package can be emptied through the opening 6.
In order to ensure effective re-sealing, even after many opening and closing operations, the re-closing adhesive is applied in a special way, namely on flap 4, before being applied to the packaging bag, as will be described later.
The flap itself is a sheet of a piece of material, which is shown in a vertical position in cross-section in Fig. 4. The material is a laminate consisting of an outer layer of film 4, which can be PA, OPA, PET, M-PET or OPP or the like.
Further, a colored layer (not shown) may be introduced, optionally with printing, and / or additional layers of PA, OPA, PET, M-PET, AL, or OPP, PE or PP.
In addition, reclosure 7 is used from below, such as a hot melt adhesive / PSA adhesive, and ultimately a varnish coating / heat seal or heat sealable film 12 is used. The packaging material for making the bag is similarly a laminate film 3 containing an internal heat sealed film as well as an optional layer overprint which is glued to it.
From the outside, the foil is fitted with or without printing, and finally has a coating / lacquer seal on it
13.
The production of the package will now be described.
The sheet of web material of the packaging 3 is unwound from the rolls, followed by pressing the groove 9 on the web in a position determined by the subsequent opening 6 of the packaging and having a shape such as, for example, a U-shape, as indicated in Fig. 1. Then, a piece of material 4 is provided having the final shape of the closing flap 4.
This piece of material is welded or glued to the material of the bag 3 and covers an impressed groove 9, as indicated in Fig. 2.
The sheet web with glued flap 4 is folded at the bottom, after which the transverse welds 5 can be delivered and the final package can be filled with its contents.
The web sheet with an adhesive flap can optionally be welded to the bottom 10, which thus has soft sides and has a sealing rib / pleat at the back of the bag, after which the packaging can be filled with contents.
Finally, the package is closed at the top through a top weld 8 that seals the package.
The packaging is then ready and will be airtight because of the unbroken barrier layer that extends around the contents of the bag.
The cross section in fig. 5 shows how the flap accurately engages the web of material 3, as seen from the outside in fig. 2.
When the package is then opened, this is the case when the flap 4 is pulled out to remove it from the bag, as indicated in fig. 3.
This pull, lifting will cause a piece of bag material 11 to rise together with the flap 4, because it is glued to the inside of the flap 4, and this piece of material 11 will rise from the impressed groove 9.
This piece of material 11 will remain adhered to the flap 4 when it is moved.
At the same time, the adhesive layer 7 with the pad 12 will be transferred from the flap to the area around the formed opening 6 of the bag and will remain glued to it, as indicated in Fig. 3.
The piece of material 11 is simply a part of the material 3, which is placed within the surroundings of the impressed groove 9, and which is intended for the opening 6, and thus the hatching only shows the adhesive layer and the sealing layer 12 that have been transferred from the flap 4, and which remain in the area around hole 6.
Since the sealing layer 12 cannot be separated from the sealing layer 13, the most weakened layer in the connection around the impressed groove 9 is the adhesive layer 7, which is then separated from the flap 4 and adhered to the material 3.
However, the most weakened layer of the connection within the impressed groove 9 is the material 3 which moves as a result of the movement of the flap 4 due to the impressed groove 9.
The resealable adhesive 7 will thus be protected when the package is open, and will not be exposed to the fingers when the tab is gripped to move it.
In addition, the packaging material as a type of launder will be able to leave the bag through the flap and will not be adhered to the reclose sealant.
The bag is used in the example to illustrate the invention, but it is obvious that other forms of packaging, optionally a more rigid material, can be used, where it is more efficient to use reclosing by means of an adhesive layer and a flap.
